About: I’ve been caring for my own animals since childhood and grew up with big dogs. Today I share my life with an 80-pound hound mix and a Velcro cat. I’m naturally empathetic, reliable, and genuinely happiest when caring for animals. Your pets will always have my full attention, and I make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies and gentle seniors. I adapt easily to different personalities and routines, whether that means patience, structure, or extra affection. Got a dog who pulls on the leash? I’ve got you. Got a cat who needs a little extra love and reassurance? I’ve got that covered too. I’m here for all your needs. I do work a typical 8-4 job with other hobbies of mine. But I’m open on weekends and nights! Weekends are pretty open both Saturday and Sunday. Nights I’m available for walks and drop ins after 5pm! I have a fenced in yard. However I am going to prefer to come to your house. My dog is a queen and would rather me not bring home dogs. Lol.
“Hannah did such an amazing job taking care of our two cats. One of our two babies are incredibly anxious and hesitant around new people, but even he warmed up to her in no time. We could tell they loved being around her. We would gladly have her watch them again!”

About: I've always been an animal lover and understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I've had cats, dogs, and reptiles, varying in size and needs, all throughout my life. I've pet-sat for family, friends, and friends of friends. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I'm committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Outside of pet sitting, I'm currently earning my Master's in Social Work. My background has taught me the importance of being dependable, compassionate, and attentive. These are qualities I intend to bring to every pet I care for. I'm organized and communicative, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I'm currently a per diem employee and a social work intern while completing my Master's degree, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and exercise are something I genuinely look forward to. Because my schedule varies, I can often accommodate weekday, evening, and weekend visits. I prioritize reliability and communication, and I make sure every pet receives the attention, care, and consistency they deserve. Whether it's keeping up with a daily routine, providing companionship, or giving extra cuddles, I'm committed to making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, ensure they get plenty of exercise and playtime, and give them lots of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client's home, I also make sure their environment stays clean and secure, follow any specific instructions, administer routine medications if needed, and keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I tailor my care to meet their individual needs, whether they have lots of energy, prefer quiet companionship, or need a little extra patience and reassurance.
“I discovered I had no one to watch my to somewhat challenging dogs the night before a work event. Jake was professional, offered to have a quick meet and greet before the next day's visit, and showed up on time for both visits. I added a laundry list of concerns to my dog's profile. Luckily my dog loved Jake within 5 minutes of meeting him. So much so, that when my husband returned early and accidentally let Xara escape from the house, it was Jake my dog allowed herself to be caught by. She doesn't allow anyone but her besties to get near her when she is loose.”

“Archie absolutely adores Gisselle. When I returned, Archie was relaxed and happy, which is a testament to the wonderful care he received. I could tell that Gisselle had truly bonded with my dog and treated him like her own. Thanks Gisselle,I am sure Archie is looking forward to seeing you again.”

About: I have been fostering dogs for over 20 years. Some have been foster fails. I have also volunteered at a couple of shelters. I love all animals and never pass up an opportunity to spend time with animals. My husband, 3 boys and I all love dogs and really enjoy having foster friends visit with us. I know how to read an animals body language and also know that they need time to adjust to a new situation. I feel that I would be a good pet sitter/walker because I view watching animals as a privilege rather than a job. I am a stay at home mom with a fairly flexible schedule as well as a family willing to help care for any furry friends that I would be watching.
“Mary is categorically the best sitter I've used on Rover. Her dedication to my very scared cat was incredible! She went above and beyond to get him out for some much needed cat cuddles which meant the world to me. Her descriptions and pictures of her visits set my mind at ease. Can't recommend her enough!”

About: I am so thankful for dogs and cats, and love to be able to protect them and care for them. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy, and cats young and old. My experience includes administering medicine and insulin shots to old pets, and taking them to vet visits. I am known for being a calm and patient person, and am quite soft spoken, which many animals seem to appreciate. I enjoy communicating with them, and giving them all the attention they deserve. I care for their needs, especially when it comes to nutrition and medicine. I love brushing their hair, and have given some doggie hair cuts if need be. I don't mind them sleeping on the same bed if they need the company. My schedule is open to pet needs, as it is my primary focus. I currently have open availability, and can cover a wide radius in NJ. As someone who has been a pet owner of all sorts for many years, I understand how every pet has specific needs and personalities. I am open to any situation to help your pet feel more comfortable while in my care.

If a weekend walk is needed I would be available. I can fit any schedule. I am dependable and respectful of the pet and home owner. I love to walk and play with dogs and cats. My dream job .
About: My husband and I have been boarding our friends dogs during their vacations for years. We also have 4 teenagers that LOVE helping. So instead we love on those we care for as if they were our own. Tony is currently in school to become a certified dog trainer so he'll be First Aid and CPR trained soon. We understand that every dog has different needs. We are sure to pay attention to the instructions given to us by each owner to ensure the dogs are comfortable and feel at peace and safe when with us. Dog walking has become our specialty through this app. We have so much fun with them. This is something we want to do more of. Why choose us? Because we are like the aunt and uncle that give extra attention and love to their nieces and nephews! Tony is fully dedicated to the car of your pet. This is his full-time job and loves pets more than people sometimes. Lol. Leyda works from home full-time. She helps inbetween calls and fully available on the weekends. At my house we do walks 2-3 times a day and play time in the backyard at least once a day depending on the weather. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
