About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. I’m comfortable with any breed. I feel I am someone who is a reliable and trustworthy. I’m currently working remote and at home, which means I can take care of pups anytime of the day. Some days this may vary but overall I’m open. I have a yard in an apartment complex in which I bring my dogs out to run around and play. I have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur babies entertained. I can crate your dogs if needed too.

“Kaipo loved Scotts home. He was so excited to be there. Nice big yard to run around in and other dogs to play with as well. One of the biggest changes I noticed after Kaipos' stay was that he now returns the ball to me when we play fetch. He would never do that before. Keep away was his favorite game. Took him to dog park and I was throwing the ball for him for nearly an hour. He bought it back every time, dropped it and waited for me to pick it up and throw it again. That was a nice change and I want to thank Scott for fixing that. I had fun.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. About: I have over 25 years of experience watch dogs. The last two years I have been working with the See Eye Foundation as a Puppy Sitter. I sit for puppies 8 weeks to 13 years old, for a single day to over a week. I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. I do have a 120 foot leash that lets the dogs run without fear of them running away. If your dog likes to play fetch or just do a lot of exploring, the yard is ideal for them. I am also available to do multiple daily check ins and walks if the dog prefers to stay at home.

We have a large yard for plenty of running and playing for any type of dog. We are a big family so there will be someone to play with them. I have pet sat for a friend of my mom for two medium sized dogs for three weeks. I am available on Tuesday mornings because I have class at 6:30 at night and free any time from Thursday through Sunday. According to my sister's weiner dog, I am very good at tug-of-war. About: I am a registered nurse by trade but enjoy caring for a various assortment of animals (dogs, cats, snakes/reptiles, birds, fish). Before I became a nurse I was a dog grooming assistant (so if your special pup needs a bath or brushing I can help). I have experience dealing with an assortment of dog personalities and age ranges. Medication administration is also no issue (having prior experience with pills, drops and ointments). I work remotely Monday to Friday and am able to stay or drop in throughout the day given proper notice of the pet’s needs. I am fully capable of providing walks and playtime based on your pet’s requirements as well as accommodate special care such as medication, alternate relieving strategies (pee pads, diapers etc).
“I cannot express how grateful we are to have found Jake! We were unexpectedly put in a very stressful situation when our longtime dog sitter became unavailable one week into our two week trip. We were facing the possibility of having to cancel the remainder of our plans and return home. In over 15 years of having multiple dogs, I have ALWAYS done a meet and greet and spent considerable time walking a new sitter through our home, routines, and VERY specific instructions. We don't have just one or two dogs. We have a six pack, each with very different personalities, routines, and needs! He was competent, patient, communicative, supportive, and, most importantly, willing to step into a situation that was far from ordinary. Jake succeeded, our dogs succeeded, and we are very very blessed for this outcome. One more thing worth mentioning. I have always chosen female dog sitters, simply because I assumed that was the most comfortable fit for our household and dogs. Well, Jake has now changed my perspective on that. One of the biggest changes I noticed after Kaipos' stay was that he now returns the ball to me when we play fetch. He would never do that before. Keep away was his favorite game. Took him to dog park and I was throwing the ball for him for nearly an hour. He bought it back every time, dropped it and waited for me to pick it up and throw it again. That was a nice change and I want to thank Scott for fixing that. I had fun.”

“This was our trial run overnight stay for a longer stay we have coming up. Chris lives in a lovely area with a nice little fenced yard for the dogs to play and do their business. He has a cute smaller female mixed breed of his own. Our Finley over other dogs and had good playtime with her. I like that Chris only takes one doggie client at a time so that I know Finley will get the attention and care that he needs. Based on our successful overnight I am going to book Chris for our long trip. I don’t like making recommendations after only one overnight but I am confident that I will be doing just that after his next stay.”
