About: Iâve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). Iâm free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know Iâm coming (if they donât already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.
âGreat experience, Lily was always happy to go on walks w Elizabeth and in a great mood when i was home. Elizabeth was great in communication and def plan on using her servicesâ
About: I have experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Through these roles I cared for pets with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs while learning how to recognize signs of stress, illness, and discomfort. I am comfortable caring for puppies, adults, and seniors and I understand the importance of maintaining routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. As a veterinary assistant, I also have experience handling animals using fear free techniques and compassion, giving owners peace of mind that their fur babies are in capable hands. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like family. I'm currently on summer break from college so I will be available for bookings through June-mid August. I am available for weekends and weekdays when needed. I focus on maintaining your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication (if needed), and any other care requirements. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you're away by providing reliable, attentive care in their familiar environment

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
