About: I’ve taken care of pets since my early 20s. I began fostering dogs in my early 30s and even had some foster failures. I have always been that friend, neighbor, stranger that will stop and help and animal in need or just stop the world to say hi to a four legged love ! I have full open availability! I am a teacher and am home during the summer so I can meet most needs. I am also willing to travel to help a pup in need. I prefer to board at home and I have two small pups at home, Eli and Gidget. Eli is a 12 year old Havanese and Gidget is a 2 year old Brug. They are sweet and get along with all animals and people.

“Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like family. I'm currently on summer break from college so I will be available for bookings through June-August 21st. I am available for weekends and weekdays when needed. I focus on maintaining your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication (if needed), and any other care requirements. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you're away by providing reliable, attentive care in their familiar environment
About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

About: I’ve owned my own dog for 17 years and have babysitted friends’ dogs and many other client’s dogs by word of mouth. I am experienced with senior care and comfortable with administering medication. Ever since I started working from home and my soul dog passing the rainbow bridge I found I have more love in my heart to share with any dog out there. I recently joined rover because I miss having a dog in my home, being able to cuddle a furry friend is something I have missed dearly. I am a fully remote worker and have availability to be with your pet the entire day. I don’t often leave my house except for errands or the gym. Since I only take one client family at a time you can be assured that your baby is getting all the attention they deserve. I have a partially fenced backyard and live on a quiet street with a park within walking distance. I’ll start the day before work with a morning walk, continue with any needed potty breaks throughout the day, and then finish up with an evening walk. If your dog enjoys being on the lap I’d love for them to join me on lap for my work from home schedule! Play time can happen in my backyard or the nearby park.

About: I love animals. I grew up around them all my life. From horses to hamsters and snakes to frogs. They all interest me. Im currently attending college to get my degree in animal medicine to eventually become a veterinarian. I currently dont have the time to have a dog at home because of the days that i have class so i decided to open thos rover account to be able to play with dogs and care for them in the free time i have available. I promise you to treat your pet as if it were my own and give it tremendous amounts of love while youre away at work or at school or even while youre running your errans. About: I’ve had a dog since I was about 5 years old. Since then I’ve dog sit for my family, and friends when they are away. I have a 10 year old dog myself so they’ll have good company! I don’t work over the weekends so I have availability to keep active. I typically go on a long walk in the afternoon and am able to take them out for bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours! I live in an apartment complex and have a dog myself! I typically feed my dog in the morning but will adhere to whatever feeding/bathroom schedule your pup is used to!

About: Since I was a freshman in highschool I have been trusted with taking care of many of my neighbors pets. Small dogs, medium dogs, big dogs, I love them all! From ages 5-16 I had a boxer dog who was the light of my life! Since then I nourish my love for dogs and animals through volunteering at OSCAR in my spare time and caring for pets in the communities near me. I currently will soon start working part-time at a country club however schedules vary week to week but consist of 3 day work weeks with shifts from 10-3 or 3-9. Any days apart from days I am working, I am free whenever! I have a 2 story house with a large fenced backyard and no pets. I live in a friendly neighborhood with parks nearby! I am very cautious, careful, and responsible so a dogs safety is a big priority of mine.
“Samantha was amazing! Best Rover we’ve had yet. She sent us multiple pictures and updates every day. We have a St Bernard who can’t stay in the hot weather too long and she made sure to keep him in AC with lots of water. We also had an unexpected issue at the end of our trip, and she was able to take on our dog for two extra days which was a lifesaver. She even gave us tips for our dog after regarding some bumps on his body which was kind and helpful. We can’t wait to use her again!”

They are so much more than pets, they are our family members. I am currently a full-time stay at home mother with ample time to help you and your family out while you are away, at work, or your pet is in need of a companion. I know how hard it is to leave your pets/family alone while you have to take care of every day life. I can travel to and from your house to care for your pet(s) as one of my own. My schedule is very flexible to accommodate any need you might have. I will make sure your pet is very well loved and happy from the time I get there until the time I leave.
