About: Since I was old enough to remember Ive had various types of animals both small and large. I had overseen , cared for and loved all my furry, scaled and feathered friends. Ranging from fish, rats, hamsters, birds, bearded dragons, snakes, sugar gliders, cats and dogs. I made sure all my pets were comfortable, loved and treated as family. I would treat your furry, scaled, feathered babies as I would treat my own. I am a stay at home single mother with time available regularly. My schedule is pretty flexible just need a days notice. Look forward to meeting you and your little loved ones. In all my years, Ive always made sure that I do my due diligence to make sure they feel like part of the family. By make sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy and loved.

About: Dogs mean a lot to me. Growing up with German Sheppards, I really needed to be disciplined with them. Dogs need high attention. I'm very active with them, constantly playing and walking them. Giving them the best exercise possible. I've worked with senior dogs. I did as much as they can handle. Walks at their own pace, play with them when necessary. Gave them their medications on time, let them rest as needed. Every dog is different. I've worked with younger dogs, very energetic. Take them to parks to play, or long walks. I helped trained them. Waiting to start a job in federal law enforcement. Just got out of the military in August. Currently unemployed, I will be doing this full time. I'm pretty flexible. Free weekdays and weekends. No better way to work then spending it with dogs everyday. Make sure they have water always, dog dishes are cleaned. No objects around that they can choke on. Playing and walking with them consistently everyday.

About: I've cared for all sorts of animals my entire life - cats, dogs, rats, turtles...As a child I would pet sit for multiple neighbors. As an adult, I've been pet sitting for friends and family for many years now. I also have experience with medical special needs, and dog training at animal shelters. I am available for drop ins and walks daily throughout the week. I'd love to spend as much time as possible with animals of all shapes and sizes! I can offer bathroom breaks for housebroken dogs, and play time for both dogs and cats. I'd love to play fetch (or keep away!) with a puppy. I also know that, despite all the best toys in the world, sometimes the cat would just rather play with a hair tie! Of course, they'll always get personalized attention and lots of pets!

About: My family and I are animal lovers! We have one dog of our own who we love and care for and she LOVES to play with other doggie friends! I have dog sat for about 15+ years for personal friends and family as well as many dogs here on Rover. All of our children love dogs and we create a loving and caring family environment. We have a large backyard in a family oriented town. Our yard is not fenced, but there is plenty of room for dogs we watch to run around and play. My children take part in caring for the dogs we sit and like to give them lots of extra hugs and love. We also enjoy going on lots of walks! We can’t wait to give your dog a warm, friendly home away from home! I am work from home, so I am available to be present for your dog. He/she will have someone around almost at all times. If we have to run out for anything, if your dog does not chew and is trained, he/she can have run of our home. We have one very friendly dog to keep yours company. I have plenty of room in the house for a crate if necessary. If medications are necessary, I am able to administer that. Our yard is not fenced, however we have a long lead where he/she can have plenty of room to run around. Our family will be present at all times when your dog is outside.

About: I have taken care of my 3 dogs, black lab, Chihuahua, and Brittany spaniel since about 8 years old. I love taking them on walks, playing ball and just hanging out with them! I am a full time student so I am super flexible with any bookings! I am able to do drop ins, walks, and overnight stays all 7 days of the week! About: My family and I have been taking care of dogs on and off for 15 years. Our dog has had two litters totaling 23 (Creampuff Labradoodle is the breeder) which we have hosted in our home as they grew up. We love nature, being outdoors, and all things animal related! We host play dates at our home often and our pup enjoys the company. Things to note: we are a busy household and have three children. We are in and out throughout the day but never for long periods of time when watching pups. Visiting dogs must be comfortable around my dog and children. I will always do a meet and greet before taking a dog in. Must know basic training skills and be clean upon arrival, and be house trained. Things to bring for day care/boarding: Bed, water and food bowls, crate. If a crate is not an option then we can use our gated corral. They are able to have free rein over house, I am fine with that but as a safety precaution or for use when we leave I prefer to have an option to contain the pups. I have toys, towels, and treats. If any signs of aggression are shown or excessive behaviors I will ask if I can gently train your dog with a sound device. I have used this on my own dog and it works great as a non invasive tool if unpredictable circumstances arise. Our back yard is fenced and we take extra care at our front door and can block the foyer with an extra gate for safety. I own a photography business so I make my own schedule. If I am away from the house, it is not for long at all and I do all my editing from my home office. I am flexible and accommodating to various needs. I have a fully fenced back yard. We have a gate for leaving uncreated dogs in if we run out for a bit. It can block off the foyer area or be set up by the deck door for views of the yard.

About: Hi! My name is Alexyss and I have loved animals my entire life. I grew up with big dogs, starting with my golden retriever, Jazzy! My best friend growing up was my pitbull, Whiskey. She was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and is the reason I’m in love with the breed. We then had Luna, who was a medium sized pit mix. She tragically passed away at the young age of 6 due to medical complications following a surgery. All of those dogs profoundly changed my life and made me a better dog owner. I now have my 20-year old kitty, Smudge. She is my entire world. I adopted her from the family I babysat for in college when they moved across the country. At that time she was 14 and I had knew her for two years already. I immediately did preventative medical care on her to ensure she lives a long, happy and comfortable last years of her life. It prides me to say that her vet tells me that I am the reason she has lived this long. It means the world to me because I would truly do anything for Smudge. In 2019, I started working for Veterinary Emergency Group as an ER Vet Receptionist. Through this extensive experience, I learned to identify emergencies and the level of severity. I’ve been able to help owners through communication that was compassionate while also being transparent. I was the first person to see the animals come in, and would immediately recognize which animals were in distress when their owners did not realize it. The many times I’ve acted off of instinct mixed with experience saved those fur babies in that moment so that they could get proper medical attention. In these instances, I would also jump in to assist in the critical case in any way I can. I then quickly moved onto be a ER Veterinary Assistant. I did everything I was allowed to do as an assistant. That included performing CPR, manual ventilation, assistance with emergency and non-emergency intubation, preparing for surgery, assisting with outpatient procedures, full-time nursing for the PARVO pups, full-time nursing for 15+ patients with the help of a tech, and WAY more. I’ve seen it all and done it all (all that I was legally allowed to do of course). It was intense and heartbreaking, hence why I switched gears into the social services field. I’d love to provide compassionate, loving and attentive care for your pet(s). I want for you to be able to go out and enjoy yourself without feeling worried sick about your fur baby. I can ensure you that I will treat and love them like my own. And with my ER experience, you can rest assured that I will be able to identify if your animal is in need of immediate medical attention and will take them to receive it. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am willing to work around your needs. The earlier the notice, the better so I can properly schedule. I can follow whatever rules you have in place for your fur baby and will ensure to double check with you if I have any questions. I ask that you please be as transparent and honest with me as you can about your pet’s triggers or potential aggression. I have worked with plenty of aggressive animals, but it makes it much SAFER and easier for both your pet and I if I am aware of these things. I have had instances in which I was bit badly after being told the animal was friendly. So I truly appreciate honesty and will be more willing to work with you if you are upfront about your pet.

About: **currently not offering boarding. Drop in visits and dog walking only I love dogs ! I’ve always grown up with dogs and adopted my own once I moved into my house 7 years ago. We lost our beloved 17 year old shih tzu in 2020 and since have adopted a fun loving 11 year old husky named Skylar! I have dog walked and house sat for others since I was in high school and have experience with young and old dogs . Neighbors , friends/family have also relied on me to help out when they need someone to care for their dog. I am willing and capable to administer medication if needed. I quit my full time teaching job to pursue a more flexible work schedule to be home more. I nanny part time and I am home most hours of the day. My husband is also home 3 days of the week given his first responder schedule . I have a completely fenced in back yard and we are extremely cautious when it comes to leaving our home / coming inside. We rarely use our front door and go out/in through our garage making sure to close the door before opening ! I am looking to board dogs primarily in my home if it’s over night . Our house is split leveled and although another dog is welcome in the entire house, having the split level is a nice option if the dog needs to be separated . If we do need to leave the house I would separate both my dog and the boarded dog to be safe. We have dog gates to separate the top /bottom level of our home. I prefer that all puppies are crate trained . We do have a crate . I work from home part time am always home or around town! My husband and I always make sure to give a good long walk to our dog each day and love to bring another pup along. I have a large fenced in yard which makes for a great space for your dog to run around and play/use the bathroom! My house is a split level so your dog will have its own area downstairs so I can separate my dog and yours during bedtime and if I run our of the house. I also am able to provide a crate for dogs who are crate trained.
