About: I have been a dog lover my whole life. I got my first dog at 5 and never looked back. Ive been a veterinary assistant for the past 21 years with experience in both general practice and rehabilitation. During this time I learned a lot about many different breeds, sizes and ages of dogs, especially in rehab. I also have experience pet sitting in people's homes, for family and for friends. Im currently not working. I spend most of my days at home enjoying life so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I have a newly fenced secure yard. Bathroom breaks are always available. My property is private with little to no traffic. On nice days we walk around the property. On and off leash walks are an option. The whole house is dog friendly Im able to easily separate dogs when and if needed for eating, sleeping and bathroom breaks. I have an old cat that is dog friendly but will swat if bothered too much. Ideally I would love to care for little dogs that can join in our daily life.

I’ve watched them grow since they were 3mo. old and have experienced caring for post-op injury (double knee reconstruction) on one, and a mast cell tumor removal/chemotherapy/radiation treatment on the other. About: I have been a veterinary technician for the last 19 years. I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. I have had many pocket pets over the years as well. I currently work full time, overnights only, on the front end of the week. I plan accordingly, to make sure the pets needs are met before and after work shift, and spoil them extra on the days I’m off. I adjust to whatever needs the pet requires, and make our schedules work in sync so that there are no issues with bathroom breaks, or feeding/medications.
