“Christine was great watching our dog, Ozzy! Ozzy can have stranger danger and Christine did a great job managing this. He was so well taken care of and so was our apartment. I highly recommend Christine.”

“Ray was amazing!! I needed someone pretty last minute & he was willing to come stay with multiple dogs at my house. He kept me updated with pictures and videos. I could tell the pups were happy and well cared for. Highly recommend & will use again! Thanks Ray (and thanks to your sister Anna also)”

“Antonia is an expert dog walker. She took excellent care of my pups while I was away And when one of them got very seriously ill, she acted quickly and allowed us to get my Coco to the vet to get the help she needed. She also expertly cleaned up my house from the sick dog. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Jennifer is amazing. She has a beautiful way with animals. Jennifer made my vacation relaxing as I didn’t have to worry about my pets. I highly recommend her and I am going to continue working with her.”

“I have a 12 year old dog and a 12 year old cat. The dog is pretty sick and needs very specific care and Jessica went above and beyond for both of them! You can tell she really cares deeply for the animals she takes care of. She sends very helpful updates, is very attentive to their needs and my pets already miss her.”
About: ***I have availability for one dog walking client in the Hopatcong/Lake Hopatcong/Mt. Arlington area only on Mondays and/or Friday*** I am a retired school teacher and I started dog-sitting in 2015 in the summers and school vacations. I loved it so much that I decided to do it year-round. You will not find a more responsible or caring sitter for your pets! My rates may be a little higher than some other sitters, but you get what you pay for, which is a trustworthy sitter with an impeccable reputation. When your dog stays with me, he (or she) will be treated the same way I treat my own-- spoiled rotten! I consider myself to be a small dog specialist, and feel that my small-but-cozy home is perfectly suited for big dogs in little bodies. There are no children in the home and I strive to keep a clean and clutter-free space. Someone is always home with them and they are treated to frequent walks (never left alone outside in a yard), snuggles on the sofa, playtime, and lots of hugs and kisses! If I am caring for you pet in your home as a house sitter, I will be available overnight until mid to late morning and then again from early afternoon through the evening. I always respect your home and will leave it in the same condition as when I arrived. I can bring in mail, water houseplants, care for caged pets, etc. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover ever since I was a little girl. My mother could never get me to stay home, as I was always running around the neighborhood, visiting all the dogs! Finally, she got me my own dog so I would stay home. As an adult, I had a dog, a black lab mix, who lived until the ripe old age of 15. I currently have Shelby, a Chihuahua mix, who is the most recent love of my life (don't tell my husband)! I love having multiple dogs and enjoy watching them interact. Dog sitting is the perfect way to get to know lots of awesome dogs and their equally awesome owners (anyone who loves their dog is awesome in my eyes!). Meet my pets Shelby - Chihuahua mix - friendly and playful. Certified pet therapy dog who has made several visits to the school where I taught -- she loves to lick faces and spread Chihuahua cuteness! About my yard I have an enclosed deck leading from my back door. This protects those door-dashers from escaping, and provides a place to get some sun and relax outside on nice days. I have an extra lounge chair ready for your pooch! I do have a yard, but it is not fenced. I take my own dog on multiple daily walks in the woods adjoining my house, and your dog would be treated the same while staying with me. Your dog will not just be put out in a yard unsupervised. My experience administering medication Yes, oral and topical meds. Your dog will NEVER be left unattended at my home. I usually only leave the house for my dog walking appointments, and during that time, someone else will always be home. I have a shady, fenced deck area where we hang out when the weather is nice. This is right outside my back door, so if you have a "door dasher," he won't get far! There is a wooded trail just a few steps from my home where we take our walks without having to worry about cars passing by or being in the hot sun in the summer. My home is small but cozy, clean and clutter free, When I visit dogs in their home, after the "business" is finished, I love to sit, pet, play with and talk to your dog.

“Hilal was so great with our dogs. They loved her and we can’t wait to book again! She was patient with out more reactive dog and by the time we got home, they were best friends. She clearly knows how to handle dogs that are super friendly and those that need a little more convincing to settle down. We’re so glad she could accept our booking last minute.”

“This is the second time we booked with Hannah. She is extremely reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. We needed to head out of town unexpectedly and Hannah respoded on very short notice and was able to help. We had peace of mind that our pup was well taken care of while we were away. We look forward to working with Hannah again and highly recommend her to others!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter and it was such a positive experience! Natalie was AMAZING! It's clear how much she loves animals. She was able to keep our anxious dog calm and distracted while we were away. She kept us informed and sent pictures regularly. We will absolutely call on her again to care for our dog!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. Animals are a passion of mine, as well as traveling, music and nutrition. The slogan Eat, Play, Love is a spin off of my favorite Eat, Pray, Love. I grew up with dogs, cats and bunnies. I loved each & every one of them. When I got older I turned my passion into a form of income. I’m a former kennel-hand. I’ve been a house/ pet sitting for years now but just as a side job & usually by word of mouth. Now I’ve turned it into a full-time business. I’ve dealt with breeds ranging from golden retrievers and labs to rottweilers and pitbulls to chihuahuas and french bulldogs. I believe I am fully capable to properly and lovingly take care of your furry friend(s) ! I walk many dogs throughout the week. I housesit whenever someone needs me. Then at home, I help out with my family’s dogs. I’m really flexible, I’m willing to work weekends & holidays as well. I care for your furry friends like they’re my own, with lots of love. I pride myself on leaving a home better than I found it.

About: Experienced and compassionate Pet Care with a strong passion for animal welfare and over 14 years of hands-on experience in providing high-quality care for various pets. Provided companionship and socialization for pets through playtime and interactive activities. Administered basic medications and treatments. Caring for animals has always been my passion and I do my absolute best to continue to do this with my own pets. I am always attentive to the pets in my home as well as my own pet. Making sure the pets I host are comfy and secure is the most important part of my day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember. When I was 11 I had my own dog that I took care of and eventually once I was able to drive I payed and did everything for her (she was my age). I’ve taken care of family members dogs as well. I’m currently working at a doggy boarding and daycare facility. My job is to make sure the dogs are safe, happy and healthy. We take them out to the yard and bring them in for playtime. We learn dog body language and how to deal with their body language. I currently do not have my own dog but I do work at a boarding daycare facility. If you dog needs to be crated I can easily get them in there. The facility has very high fences for when the dogs go outside. Some dogs we do have to keep on a leash outside so they do not run away. I also play with the dogs and give them lots of love. The same can be done in a clients home as well. I will do whatever is needed for the dog I am watching.
About: I have been a veterinary technician for the last 19 years. I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. I have had many pocket pets over the years as well. I currently work full time, overnights only, on the front end of the week. I plan accordingly, to make sure the pets needs are met before and after work shift, and spoil them extra on the days I’m off. I adjust to whatever needs the pet requires, and make our schedules work in sync so that there are no issues with bathroom breaks, or feeding/medications.

“Last minute trip and Erinn responded quickly. We were delayed getting home and she came back to take care of our animals . Very responsive. Communicates regularly. Will be using her again.”

I highly recommend Alexyss! I am so glad I was able to find a sitter who loves my dog as much as I do. She has great experience , especially with bully breeds which left me at ease when going away! She is kind and attentive, and overall just loves animals! I am so grateful to have found her as a sitter!

Trista came and helped out with a last minute request to watch my 3 Pom’s (including one with pretty bad separation anxiety 😬) while I was at a wedding. She was very responsive, on time, and flexible! If I’m ever in the area, I will definitely reach out again if I need a sitter! 😊

Michelle is an amazing person; she puts her entire self into her pet assignments and is equally great with both our cat and dog. She is trust worthy, goes the extra mile to help out when she house sits, and is a super communicator in words and with frequent pictures of our pets. Michelle’s actions give us peace of mind that our home and our pets are in good hands. We come home to healthy and happy pets when she takes care of them. In short she is one in a million and we are thankful she has been available when we needed her!
