About: We are a loving and lively household where we will snuggle and play fetch with your pup, take them to the dog park, and keep them happy and occupied. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We know that we are taking on no small task when we agree to be responsible for your furry friend. We will follow your instructions to a T and we realize that every doggo is their own unique individual with their own unique needs. We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. Staying active with our doodle is an integral part of our daily routine and we would love to have even more walks, games of fetch, and tricks + treats to look forward to! We LOVE to love on your pet! In our home you can expect a minimum of two 20-minute walks a day, plus more upon request and some leash time in our back yard if they like to hang out and observe the world. We are big proponents of fetch and chase.

About: Hi! My name is Alexyss and I have loved animals my entire life. I grew up with big dogs, starting with my golden retriever, Jazzy! My best friend growing up was my pitbull, Whiskey. She was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and is the reason I’m in love with the breed. She was a rescue that came from a highly abusive environment and it was an honor to make her feel safe for the last years of her life. She picked me as her person out of my family I was living with and the bond we shared is something I will miss everyday for the rest of my life. We then had Luna, who was a medium sized lab/pit mix and adopted from what I assume to be a hoarding/neglect situation down South. She tragically passed away at the young age of 6 due to medical complications following a surgery in 2021. All of those dogs profoundly changed my life and made me understand dogs on a deeper level. I am so sad to update that my baby Smudge crossed the rainbow bridge at 20-years old on 11/09/2025 and it still feels like it was yesterday. She was my entire world — my first personal pet and first cat ever. I adopted her from the family I babysat for in college when they moved across the country. At that time she was 14 and I had known her for two years already. I immediately did preventative medical care on her to ensure she lived a long, happy and comfortable last years of her life. It prides me to say that her vet told me multiple times that I am the reason she had lived exceptionally healthy until 20. Her labs were always remarkable up until the last three visits, the last in which I made the difficult decision to put her to sleep due to sudden diagnoses that came on quick. I brought her to her vet every 6 months and ensured she was healthy. I adjusted my home with adding stairs to the bed and couch to accommodate her needs as she wasn’t able to do the same things she was able to as a younger senior. It was an honor to be her mom. I did anything and everything for Smudge to ensure she was healthy and happy. I took daily notes on her health and consistently did my own basic exams on her at home. I am still heavily grieving the loss of her in many ways. ❤️‍🩹 In 2019, I started working for Veterinary Emergency Group as an ER Vet Receptionist. Through this extensive experience, I learned to identify emergencies and the level of severity. I’ve been able to help owners through communication that was compassionate while also being transparent. I was the first person to see the animals come in, and would immediately recognize which animals were in distress when their owners did not realize it. The many times I’ve acted off of instinct mixed with experience saved those fur babies in that moment so that they could get proper medical attention. In these instances, I would also jump in to assist in the critical case in any way I can. I then quickly moved onto be an ER Veterinary Assistant. I did everything I was allowed to do as an assistant. That included performing CPR, manual ventilation, assistance with emergency and non-emergency intubation, preparing for surgery, assisting with outpatient procedures, full-time nursing for the PARVO pups, full-time nursing for 15+ patients with the help of a tech, and WAY more. I’ve seen it all and done it all (all that I was legally allowed to do of course). It was intense and heartbreaking, hence why I switched gears into the social services field. I’d love to provide compassionate, loving and attentive care for your pet(s). I want for you to be able to go out and enjoy yourself without feeling worried sick about your fur baby. I can ensure you that I will treat and love them like my own. And with my ER experience, you can rest assured that I will be able to identify if your animal is in need of immediate medical attention and will take them to receive it. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am willing to work around your needs. The earlier the notice, the better so I can properly schedule. I can follow whatever rules you have in place for your fur baby and will ensure to double check with you if I have any questions. I ask that you please be as transparent and honest with me as you can about your pet’s triggers or potential aggression. I have worked with plenty of aggressive animals, but it makes it much SAFER and easier for both your pet and I if I am aware of these things. I have had instances in which I was bit badly after being told the animal was friendly. So I truly appreciate honesty and will be more willing to work with you if you are upfront about your pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Both being surrounded by 4 dogs and 2 cats my entire life I know how to cater to each pets personality and make them feel safe! About: New to Rover, but not new to the world of pet care! I’ve worked with dogs for over 14 years through fostering, pet sitting, dog walking, and volunteer work with animal shelters. I’ve volunteered with shelters for more than 10 years and also have experience helping train service animals, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, behavior, and working with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from young puppies who need extra structure and attention to senior pets who may need a slower pace, patience, and a little extra care. I love making sure every pet gets the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they need. I truly treat everyone else’s pets as if they were my own, and I’ll always keep you updated with plenty of photos while you’re away. I’m most available on evenings and weekends, and I always make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention, exercise, and care they need. I live in a house with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable and settle in. I’m very mindful about safety, routines, feeding instructions, and each pet’s individual needs. I also have a friendly 6-year-old cat who is comfortable around other animals. I’m happy to use a crate if that is part of your dog’s normal routine, and I always do my best to keep pets feeling safe, relaxed, and at home.

I can walk your fur baby around the neighborhood/local park, feed & play with them too. I can also administer medications they may need. About: I have loved and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I grew up with all kinds of animals in my homes and have had additional experience with birds, fish, chickens, hamsters, mice, snakes, geckos, bunnies, and others over my last 30 years. Though it hasn’t been my full time profession in years, I spent many years managing a boarding facility alongside an animal hospital, which remains to this day my absolute favorite job. I find no greater joy than helping ease the anxiety that the animal babies feel when they are away from the comfort of their own homes. I have successfully trained a number of puppies including large “bully breeds” and I especially enjoy helping rescues find comfort in new homes after questionable upbringings. Above all, my heart pours love and gratitude into animal babies because I believe they deserve the same unconditional love that they give to us humans. I work part time and make my own schedule. I am incredibly flexible and am used to a swing schedule where I can get up early or stay up late in order to accommodate the needs of my clients. I have a multiple acre wooded property. Though it is not entirely fenced in I am skilled at leash walking/training and my property backs up to miles of trails that are part of a wildlife refuge. I currently have a one year old female Beagle/Belgian Malinois mix who is crate trained but also does stay at home alone freely at this age with no incidents. She is incredible with other dogs and people, overall very sweet and friendly. I am willing to crate your pup if that is what you prefer, but am also ok with a free roaming pup. I work only on a free-lance basis and do all of my work based around my pet sitting, drop in, and walking schedule. So your animals are my number one priority! I have added a fence on my wooded property to accommodate pups that need some freedom from a leash to do their ‘business’ 😆 and of course my sweet, friendly, playful pup Rainy is always ready to wrestle, chase, or cuddle her new friends!

About: I have been a veterinary technician for the last 19 years. I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. I have had many pocket pets over the years as well. I currently work full time, overnights only, on the front end of the week. I plan accordingly, to make sure the pets needs are met before and after work shift, and spoil them extra on the days I’m off. I adjust to whatever needs the pet requires, and make our schedules work in sync so that there are no issues with bathroom breaks, or feeding/medications.
