Jessica was wonderful with Toffee! She took great care of my pup during our two days of walks, and her kind nature really shows. I’m very happy with her services and will definitely reach out to her again.

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—from fish and lizards to cats and dogs. My wife and I are proud cat parents to S’mores (who, despite my best efforts, isn’t too keen on training). I helped train both of my family dogs and still love visiting them at my parents’ house. After a busy year teaching high school, I’m looking forward to a summer with less talking and more time playing with pets. I’m happy to work on basic training or reinforce commands while you’re away—whatever helps keep your pet happy, safe, and loved! I am a full time school teacher so I have a great schedule with plenty of time for your furry friend! Available most days and times and willing to work on your pets schedule Comfortable handling all walking, litter box cleaning, feeding, and certain medications for your pet. I have over 15 years of personal experience with pets and over 5 years experience with pet sitting for hire. I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Mike walks Cali on a regular basis. Cali loves going on walks with Mike and is happy to see him. This particular walk was requested last minute. Mike was flexible and said he would help right away. He even asked if Cali needed to eat as well. It was a huge help and he is a fantastic dog walker!

About: I have been a veterinary technician for the last 19 years. I have spent the majority of that time working at a small animal practice, but also worked at an emergency and specialty practice for 4 years during that time as well. During my career, I have dealt with numerous c-sections, geriatric, diabetic, and renal patients. Meaning that, injections, SQ fluid, oral meds, etc, are not a problem.. I have also done pet sitting on the side for many years during this time as well. I have always had a love for animals. I currently own a 9 year old mixed breed dog, as well as a cat, and chinchilla. I have had many pocket pets over the years as well. I currently work full time, overnights only, on the front end of the week. I plan accordingly, to make sure the pets needs are met before and after work shift, and spoil them extra on the days I’m off. I adjust to whatever needs the pet requires, and make our schedules work in sync so that there are no issues with bathroom breaks, or feeding/medications.

About: Hi! My name is Alexyss and I have loved animals my entire life. I grew up with big dogs, starting with my golden retriever, Jazzy! My best friend growing up was my pitbull, Whiskey. She was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and is the reason I’m in love with the breed. We then had Luna, who was a medium sized lab/pit mix. She tragically passed away at the young age of 6 due to medical complications following a surgery. All of those dogs profoundly changed my life and made me a better dog owner. I am so sad to update that my baby Smudge crossed the rainbow bridge at 20-years old. She was my entire world. I adopted her from the family I babysat for in college when they moved across the country. At that time she was 14 and I had knew her for two years already. I immediately did preventative medical care on her to ensure she lived a long, happy and comfortable last years of her life. It prides me to say that her vet told me multiple times that I am the reason she had lived exceptionally healthy until 20. It means the world to me because I would have and did anything for Smudge. I am still heavily grieving the loss of her which is a large reason I had to step away from Rover for a bit. ❤️‍🩹 In 2019, I started working for Veterinary Emergency Group as an ER Vet Receptionist. Through this extensive experience, I learned to identify emergencies and the level of severity. I’ve been able to help owners through communication that was compassionate while also being transparent. I was the first person to see the animals come in, and would immediately recognize which animals were in distress when their owners did not realize it. The many times I’ve acted off of instinct mixed with experience saved those fur babies in that moment so that they could get proper medical attention. In these instances, I would also jump in to assist in the critical case in any way I can. I then quickly moved onto be a ER Veterinary Assistant. I did everything I was allowed to do as an assistant. That included performing CPR, manual ventilation, assistance with emergency and non-emergency intubation, preparing for surgery, assisting with outpatient procedures, full-time nursing for the PARVO pups, full-time nursing for 15+ patients with the help of a tech, and WAY more. I’ve seen it all and done it all (all that I was legally allowed to do of course). It was intense and heartbreaking, hence why I switched gears into the social services field. I’d love to provide compassionate, loving and attentive care for your pet(s). I want for you to be able to go out and enjoy yourself without feeling worried sick about your fur baby. I can ensure you that I will treat and love them like my own. And with my ER experience, you can rest assured that I will be able to identify if your animal is in need of immediate medical attention and will take them to receive it. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am willing to work around your needs. The earlier the notice, the better so I can properly schedule. I can follow whatever rules you have in place for your fur baby and will ensure to double check with you if I have any questions. I ask that you please be as transparent and honest with me as you can about your pet’s triggers or potential aggression. I have worked with plenty of aggressive animals, but it makes it much SAFER and easier for both your pet and I if I am aware of these things. I have had instances in which I was bit badly after being told the animal was friendly. So I truly appreciate honesty and will be more willing to work with you if you are upfront about your pet.

This was Jett’s first walk with someone new, and Allie did an amazing job! She took him on several walks around the neighborhood and made sure to burn off some of his energy playing fetch in the backyard. Allie is reliable and great with dogs—I would recommend her. Thank you, Allie!

Brian has been great with our young and energetic American Bulldog. We were looking for someone sturdy who is comfortable around large dogs and can read them well (i.e overheating) and he has done just that! He is also very communicative and clear which is always the gold standard when you are entrusting someone with your dog and access to home.
