“Alondra was a huge help in getting Phoebe's daily walks in! Always right on time and sent pictures and details. She provided us peace of mind and we'd be happy for her to watch Phoebe in the future!”

About: With over 14 years of personal pet care experience, I bring a deep understanding of what it takes to keep dogs happy and thriving. For over a decade, I lovingly cared for my own dog through all stages of life, and I have spent years fostering dogs of various breeds, backgrounds, and temperaments. Fostering has taught me how to be incredibly patient, how to read canine body language, and how to help anxious or shy dogs feel safe in a new environment. I treat every guest with the same dedicated, individualized care I gave my own pets and fosters.🐾🐶 I currently work part-time, which gives me a very consistent and reliable daily routine. I am fully available every single day during the afternoon from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, making me the perfect fit for midday potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I also have plenty of extra time in the evenings during the weekend for dinner feedings or cozy companionship! When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space and your furry family members with the same love, patience, and respect I would want for my own. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, so I do my best to keep their usual routine consistent—including feeding times, walks, playtime, cuddles, and potty breaks—to help ease any stress or separation anxiety. I also make sure your home stays secure by keeping doors locked and ensuring pets are safely inside before I leave. Most importantly, I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in caring hands! 🐕
“Mike walks Cali on a regular basis. Cali loves going on walks with Mike and is happy to see him. This particular walk was requested last minute. Mike was flexible and said he would help right away. He even asked if Cali needed to eat as well. It was a huge help and he is a fantastic dog walker!”

“Jessica was wonderful with Toffee! She took great care of my pup during our two days of walks, and her kind nature really shows. I’m very happy with her services and will definitely reach out to her again.”

About: We are a loving and lively household where we will snuggle and play fetch with your pup, take them to the dog park, and keep them happy and occupied. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We know that we are taking on no small task when we agree to be responsible for your furry friend. We will follow your instructions to a T and we realize that every doggo is their own unique individual with their own unique needs. We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. Staying active with our doodle is an integral part of our daily routine and we would love to have even more walks, games of fetch, and tricks + treats to look forward to! We LOVE to love on your pet! In our home you can expect a minimum of two 20-minute walks a day, plus more upon request and some leash time in our back yard if they like to hang out and observe the world. We are big proponents of fetch and chase.

I have experience with puppy care, large dogs, senior dog care, fast walkers and dogs who pull. I have a pet dog, cat and a parakeet. I’ve always loved animals and want to provide great care! :) I currently work part time at a animal hospital and also part time as a student. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life — from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, sugar gliders, and even a pet chicken! Today, I’m the proud pet mom of two dogs (Poppy, a sweet pit-hound mix, and Banks, a goofy Great Pyrenees pup) and one curious cat named Sterling. As a fellow pet parent, I know how important it is to feel your fur baby is safe, loved, and truly cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own — with patience, affection, and lots of playtime or snuggles (depending on their vibe!). Whether your pet needs structured care, a calm companion, or just someone who gets how much they mean to you, I’m here to help. I work from home full-time, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day. Whether they need frequent potty breaks, extra playtime, or just a cozy companion nearby, I’ll be there — basically at their beck and call! I have a fenced yard enclosed with galvanized steel fencing — it safely contains my two pups during supervised outdoor time. I never leave any dogs outside unsupervised. If you’d prefer your dog stays leashed, I’m more than happy to accommodate that! Inside, my home is set up in a way that allows me to separate your pet from mine if needed, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
“Mark was great with my nervous pup! He was very good about providing updates on walks and keeping me informed as to their progress. Mark's walks provided good exercise and even went a bit longer than the requested time (in a good way!). Will use again!”

Rachel was such an amazing dog walker! She is so friendly and kind. She constantly gave me updates on Potato and went above and beyond to ensure my girl was given love and care. I was actually able to relax on vacation knowing Potato was in her care. THANK YOU RACHEL!

This was Jett’s first walk with someone new, and Allie did an amazing job! She took him on several walks around the neighborhood and made sure to burn off some of his energy playing fetch in the backyard. Allie is reliable and great with dogs—I would recommend her. Thank you, Allie!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
