Caliber my Golden Doddle is my whole world and the minute I met Siram and Rekha we bonded and I feel comfortable I was leaving Caliber in the best care and his 2nd home. About: I absolutely love caring for dogs, and I’ve been a Rover sitter for over a year now. I have a Rottweiler and a Pomeranian who are the best of friends, and we enjoy our twice-daily walks together. I’ve grown up with Rottweilers, so I know exactly how to handle big & small dogs —especially when they’re feeling anxious or need some extra TLC. I work from home 3-4 times a week and always available on weekends, so I’m always around to keep your pet company and give them the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a long walk, some playtime, or just a cozy cuddle, I’m here to make sure your dog feels loved and cared for, just like my own. I work from home 3-4 days a week, so I’m always available to give your pet the attention they need. My own dogs get two daily walks, and I make time for play and snuggles in between. Whether it’s a walk or some quality time, I’m here to ensure your pet feels loved and cared for all day. I make sure your pet feels right at home, whether they’re here with me or in your home. My place is pet-friendly, with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I keep a close eye on them, ensuring they’re safe and comfortable. At your home, I stick to your pet’s routine and follow any special instructions to keep them feeling secure and loved.

About: Dog lover who wants the occasional companionship of a good boy/girl. I’ve personally cared for large and small dogs, yellow lab/setter/Bichon Frise, And have wanted a dog of my own for awhile. Currently, being new to New Jersey and traveling 1-2 times a month for work, this plan will have to be temporarily put on hold. Lucky for those who need the occasional dog sitter/walker and myself, rover allows both parties to be happy and fulfilled. My house has a small yard, but we have multiple parks within walking distance. I have the ability to work from home when needed, but my availability for the most part will be on the weekends or nights on weekdays. I look forward to meeting as many dogs as possible! I work full-time but work remotely around 50%. Looking after a dog during my remote work days is very easy and I can accommodate most things. Any time my profile is set to available I am working from home I have a fenced in small yard and live within walking distance of multiple parks. We are accommodating of all dog sizes and mobilities. We currently watch a senior dog very frequently and are aware of senior pup needs
“Molly was very nervous about her first stay with a new sitter and was well taken care of! Vanessa is very responsive, kind, understanding, and sends lots of updates. She clearly has a lot of love for pups and even has her own toys and snacks for them. We have already booked her for our next trip!”

“Great experience for our chocolate lab. She was very happy and well taken care of. Had fun with other dogs playing in the snow. It was clear she was in good hands based on the updates we received while on vacation. Loved the report card provided at the end of her stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jenn was the best! This was our first time leaving our Tyson with a sitter. She took great care of him and sent us tons of pictures throughout his stay to reassure us that he was fine and having fun. We can’t thank you enough for taking such great care of Tyson. We definitely will being using Jenn whenever we need a sitter for Tyson….”

“Expert boarding! Jonathan was flexible, personable, and communicated the whole time we were away. He handled and cared for our two pitbulls like they were his own. He even administered ear care for one of our dogs that has random allergy outbreaks. Both dogs enjoyed their stay and look forward to their next staycation! We are grateful to have found Jonathan and want to thank him for being a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Jonathan and his services!”

Mylene was wonderful with our puppy! She sent frequent updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our little guy was in great hands. We felt completely comfortable and reassured throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter, and we’ll definitely be using her again!

We left our energetic working lab with Lana for a week, and once again, she reminded us why we feel so comfortable leaving him with her. She goes to such efforts to keep him stimulated and tired out by the end of the day but also keeping him rested and safe. She always sends videos and photos, and talks about him in a way that we know he is being snuggled and well cared for. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!

Sebastian is a wonderful pet sitter and groomer. He takes such great care of our fur babies! His love of all dogs is obvious and since he appreciates being a dog dad, he knows leaving your dog behind is hard so he thoughtfully sends daily photos and comments to us while we are away. Thank you Sebastian we’ll see you again!

Rocky has stayed with Mikayla before and so we were happy she was available over the holidays. She sent us regular updates, pictures and videos and when Rocky fell sick, kept us informed and took him to our vet so that he was taken care of- I cannot express how appreciative we are - she took care of him as if he were her own.

Christina has taken care of our dogs several times now and always does a great job. Our dogs are always excited to arrive at her house. She sends lots of photos and gives updates often. She is very responsive to messages. Over the holidays she gives them little gifts and NYE pup cups. Originally, we chose Christina because she has experience taking care of dogs post-op and one of our dogs had a recent ACL surgery. She took great care of him. It was clear she knew what she was doing. She is also very knowledgeable about dogs in general. It’s worth mentioning that once we needed an extra night at the last minute due to a flight cancellation and she was very kind and accommodating. We highly recommend Christina.
David was amazing in taking care of our pup while we were gone. He was very flexible and communicative throughout the process. He was consistently giving updates which was was very calming as this was my first time being away from my pup. Would highly recommend David and will definitely be using his services again!

Raj and Ken were very caring and thoughtful. They kept me informed about how my cat was adjusting to new surroundings, and what she was doing. I’m so pleased with Raj and Ken and will definitely contact them the next time I plan on going away, as well as recommend them. My cat was very well taken care of, and I totally trust and will rely on them again, even though it might not be until next summer!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
