“Wonderful. First time we have used Rover for our 2 dogs and Stephanie took great care of them. She was great at communicating before their stay and during our vacation sending picture updates. Our older dog is blind and needed medication and eye drops - Stephanie took care of all this for him. Would highly recommend Stephanie for your dogs. We will be back for future vacations.”

“Wow! Amazing, we always get an update on how our fur baby is- he is well taken care of and very great pet setter. This is our second time having her. Thank you again Lisa”

“Chona was a fantastic sitter for our Frenchie, Coco. She communicated often with texts and photos, took Coco on walks and outings, and made sure she was comfortable and calm the whole stay. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and would definitely book with Chona again.”

“Brittany and James took a GREAT care of our dog (Blue Heeler) for a little over two weeks. They are very professional, reliable, and responsive. On July 4th, they did everything they could to calm our dog since he was very scared of fireworks. My dog loved to cuddle between Brittany and James 😁 Thank you so much for giving love to Uni and for what you do! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a responsible and loving care for your pups! 🐶”

“As soon as we arrived to the house I had such a beautiful welcoming from the family! My girl rushed right inside. Rochelle was not only able to accept my booking last minute but she stayed in contact with me and gave me updates with pictures. I will definitely be booking her in the future!”

“Sabrina and her family are great! A little peace of mind while you’re away from your fur babies makes a word of difference Thank you for always taking such good care of Bruce and Pepper.”

“Annmarie did an amazing job taking care of our dogs. She regularly updated us and sent us pictures of our dogs. We will definitely be leaving our dogs again next time.”

“Myra was amazing. She was extremely accommodating, even on New Year's day. Picchu was so happy in her house. It was the first time he relaxed and was able to sleep when someone else's place. I come to Miami often and I am so glad now I have a reliable and lovely person to take care of him :)”

“We used Irina to watch our puppy Birdie, during her stay with Irina, we got videos and pictures of Birdie daily. Our puppy looked so happy and loved by Irina and her family. Thanks to them we were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing Birdie was safe and well taken care of. We will be using Irina for further boarding.”

“Jahmilya and her family were very accommodating and amazing sitters to my two cats. They ensured that my cats were comfortable, sent pictures during their stay and allowed me to make last minute modifications which was very much appreciated. I will book with them again as it felt like a second home for my cats.”

“I’ve never had a better experience leaving my dog with someone like I did with Blaze! Mia barely wanted to come home at the end of the trip and truly seemed like she was at home with Blaze 10/10 would recommend, honestly won’t ever leave my dog with anyone else as long as Blaze is around thank you so much!!”

“We are so elated that we found Carrie on Rover. She along with her family are sincerely wonderful kindhearted people. We love all the photos and updates. Our dogs are in the best care possible and are treated as if one of their own. Navarrete Family”

“After our initial meeting, we felt very comfortable leaving our mini schnauzer Lucy with Joann and Richard. Joann checked in regularly with updates and pictures and we could tell that our girl was being well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again in the future.”

“We are so glad we found Anton on Rover. He took great care of our senior dog and sent us many pictures making us feel comfortable knowing that he is well taken cared of. Thanks Anton. MelP.”

“As always Kathy is the best! She just really cares about you furry family members. She also sends many updates so you are never worried if they are okay. Our dogs are always returned happy and tired from all the fun they have had at her house!”

“Lynn was awesome! Before we left she asked all kinds of important questions to help our dogs' stay be a comfy one - like sleeping preferences. We love that she was familiar with small dogs (having two of her own) and knew how to make them feel comfortable in her home, taking him around to walk around the house, introducing the dogs to him one by one. On her own without asking she sent daily pics of max and his stay and at the end of his visit even gave us an overall update - like that max seems to be comfortable in crates when he is resting. Max seemed super happy and comfortable with Lynn and I feel like she provided the best personalized care. I wouldn't trust any one else to care for max the same way!”
About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes and raised a labradoodle of my own (she’s 6 now)! I typically dog sit for close friends and family so why not put my services to the public’s use! I work from home full time so your pet will be extra spoiled with quality time and a daily walk on my lunch hour. There is direct access to my backyard via a doggy door however if your dog isn’t trained to use it, I’m happy to let them out to play and potty. Sometimes I’ll even work from my back porch :) I have a fenced yard and one very friendly fun loving dog. I typically take her on a daily walk on my lunch and she would love an occasional companion or two! I have a 10 year old daughter who adores dogs just as much. If your dog does not do well with children, please message me before booking. There are weeks where she is not with me.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
