“Monica was great with our pups and was very timely and communicative. Our pups were so comfortable with her immediately as if they’ve already met. We’ll definitely be using her again. Thanks, Monica!”

About: Animals are my entire life, I have had the privilege to grow up taking care of pets from the dogs I grew up with the cats and bunnies I would watch for extra pocket changes as a kid. Growing up taking care of pets has help me be the best option as a pet sitter, I have experience with puppies who are potty training to seniors in their last year. Self employed with an extremely flexible schedule you tell me when and where you need me. I can make almost any schedule work for any client. My home is here to accommodate your pets! A large backyard with a high fence, baby gates for safety’s yours pets will not be kennels or caged. Their welcome to snuggle up on the furniture, on any of the beds and welcome to use any of the many toys available.
About: I love animals especially dogs. My friends trust me to watch their animals all the time I took in a cat for 3 months and a dog for 4 months until the owners were able to take them back. Providing great services at all means.Need a trustworthy sitter when your away I’m your gal. Need a weekend away I am available. I have two dogs of my own Otis and Jax. Providing all your needs. Willing to give pet baths and provide them with whatever is needed. If they need more than one walk a day or you just want me to check on them I’m more than willing to help in any way possible. Make your life easier and so you can be at ease when not home. Let’s face it our fur babies are more than pets they are our family and we want the best possible care like we do to our children. I’m available every weekend and during the week I am usually not busy after work I am able to care in the evening whenever may be needed. I love animals especially cats and dogs I have a fenced yard and 2 wonderful dogs to keep your fur baby company. Lots of space to run around and have fun. I will also crate if needed I am currently working per diem and have plenty of time on my hands to care for your fur baby. If by any chance I step away from home my son and husband are home all day. My husband works from home and is able to provide his full attention from home and my son is currently on independent study and dedicates his time to provide care for your fur baby. My home is fully gated front yard and back yard. Inside the home I have a pet gate so they are not able to get out of the front door. If your fur baby prefers to be inside that is completely ok and I do allow the fur babies to sleep on the furniture and on my bed.
“We absolutely loved Monica! She took care of our sweet kitties for 2 weeks, dropping into our apartment once a day. She was very descriptive in her check ins and took lots of photos, which was very comforting to us as it was the longest we had left them alone. She also took care of them and managed a crisis when our AC was out in the apartment on some very hot days. She connected with our timid kitty very well. She went above and beyond. We would definitely hire her again!”

“BEST IN THE BUSINESS! Andrew really made our dogs feel right at home with him. The attention he gives them and love he brings them is incredible, treated them like they were his own. Definitely will be our first pick..EVERYTIME!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and personally cared for my own dog for over 12 years. Through that experience, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and providing a safe, loving environment for pets of all ages. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I would want for my own. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic care, providing walks and playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to keeping pet parents updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their furry family members are in good hands. I currently work part-time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule for pet care. I can provide walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the week. I understand how important routine is for pets and will do my best to accommodate their normal schedule. Whether your pet needs exercise, attention, or simply someone reliable to check in on them, I’m committed to providing consistent and loving care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and house rules provided by pet parents. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I provide plenty of attention, supervision, and positive interaction, and I believe communication is key. You’ll receive updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being well cared for in a safe and loving environment.
“Joanna was the best possible choice we could have made. When things fell through for a sitter right before our big family road trip she came to the rescue and helped us out so much. She loved our doggos just like they were her own and treated them just as good, if not a little better due to all the walks, then we would have! Definitely our go to for the next time we need a little help”

“Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Chanel! I really appreciate all the attention, and care you give her. It means so much to receive all the photos and updates while she's with you—they always give us peace of mind and let us see how much fun she's having. Chanel is always happy and well cared for in your hands. Thank you again for being such a wonderful sitter!”

“I loved that Camille is super responsive, very prompt with schedules, responsible, and just over all seems to really enjoy caring for dogs! My puppy was very pleased to have Camille take care of him for the night, and I was pleased she was available on short notice. I appreciate her knowledge of dogs and care she takes in our requests (and just in general). I will definitely book services with her again, and recommend you give her a chance to care for your fur baby.”

“Kristine is very professional working with our dog. She was gentle and careing and our dog became very close to her. Kristine was always attentive and on time. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
