About: I'm experienced with cats & dogs in all stages of life (newborn to senior), including special needs. I also have lots of experience administering medications. I am very flexible and can fit the needs of your pet's schedule. I can early mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. I am also available for scheduled reoccurring pop in visits or dog walks to fit your busy schedule. In my home, my dogs and cats are part of my family. We all cuddle on the couch and spend lots of time outside in our yard while I garden. In your home, I would be consistent with your existing boundaries. If there are parts of your home or yard that you prefer your pets stay out of, I ensure that we continue to follow your desired house rules. I will always do my best to follow any directions provided by you to ensure your pets have the best care while you are away.

Their attentive care, extensive experience and expertise all made his stay a delightful respite with loads of fun with his fellow pupper lodgers! I love the "report card" they give after the visit concludes (a log of potty times, naps, meals, activities, etc.). So very helpful. Also, I packed my pupper shank steak, and Laura saved the bone for me in a nice zip-loc bag for my pupper to enjoy gnawing on it later. Very thoughtful.”

About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
