House Sitting in Lithopolis

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and bring both experience and genuine care to every pet I watch. I was raised on a farm surrounded by animals, and I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, including a small dog I cared for over 16 years. I currently have an 8-month-old Golden Retriever puppy, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, routines, and reinforcement of basic training. I work as a teacher Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Because of this, I’m most available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and overnight stays during the week. My schedule also allows for consistent availability on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routines and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship outside of my work hours.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved any chance I’ve gotten to meet a new fur baby & become their best friend by the time I leave! I gravitate to them anytime I’m at my friends or families house and I have no shame. As if persons to my fur babies - I have: 1 dog brother, Louis, who I claim as my own. 2 cat daughters, Luna & Loki, who own the household! I have had the chance to watch my friend and families animals in the past and I want to expand my assistance to Rover to help out some more pet parents! I’m currently working from home, so I have the flexibility to take meetings from anywhere, which give me more slots to check in on your babies and for longer periods of time. On the weekends, I’ve got a pretty flexible schedule, so I’d be able to discuss what would be best for the pet parents peace of mind. I treat pets I am watching like they are my own and treat them how I would want my fur babies to be treated! I know how much peace of mind it brings me when I know the person watching my fur babies loves pets as much as I do! Just an extra assurance that they are getting the attention they are used to!

I also have an older dog since I was 9. I prefer to sit over the weekends because I do have a busy work schedule during the week. About: Ive been around many animals all of my life, and love them so much! Whether you have a cat, dog, fish, hamster, or even a turtle, Id treat your pet as if it was my own! Ive been officially pet sitting for 3 years now, but growing up we had all sorts of pets so Ive been taking care of them for years! My services are overnight sitting, walking your dogs, stopping in to feed/ let them outside, or just staying with the pets for a few hours! I love all animals (excluding mosquitoes lol) so Id love to take care of yours! I currently work Monday- Friday 7:40 Am- 3:20 Pm, but I am still able to let dogs out to use the restroom before and after work/ feed animals, and I’m able to stay nights with them if need be! Saturdays/Sundays are fully open for me as well. I can take dogs on walks, or if clients have a fenced in yard I can stay out there and play with them. I am able to come stay for longer hours/ overnight past 3:20 PM on weekdays, and can stay all day on weekends! I am good with any dog/cat breeds, and will offer unconditional love and support to your babies!

About: Hi! My name is Sue. I’m new to Rover, and still trying to grow my business, but not new to animals! My mother was truly an animal whisperer; animals were always drawn to her, and she to them. I'd like to believe I inherited that from her, as I, too, find myself very drawn to animals. As a child, my fondest memories were always with my dog, and now, as an adult, I find myself venturing toward Crazy Cat Lady territory. I've helped animals transition into old age, and have experience administering medications. I've also taken care of animals of friends over the years, both house sitting and drop-ins because I know how stressful it can be to find a pet sitter that you feel comfortable with. I am a semi-retired teacher, and now have my own business working from home, so I can work from anywhere! I can house sit for you without leaving your pets to go to work. I’m always home on the weekends to do drop-ins, dog walking or house sitting. I’m not a huge fan of the holidays, so I stay close to home. Definitely book me for your holiday travels! You know your pets better than anyone, and I'm here to make life as easy as I can for you while you're away from home and your pets. I will treat them as if they were my own. I believe that professionalism and communication are very important, and you will get both from me. If you work from home (or in-office), and are swamped, I can walk your dogs or come over and let them out for you. I remember very well the frequency with which dogs have to go out, and how that can be difficult with work schedules. My goal is to make things as simple and easy as possible for you and your pets' needs. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, and I promise to whisper to them! I do set my own schedule, so I can usually be flexible and move activities around and work something out that will work for you. I will do exactly as you instruct me. Your pet will get plenty of attention because loving animals is my specialty! I will keep your pet on the same schedule they're used to to avoid any undue stress.
