About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs from puppy to senior, as my parents both had dogs of their own and raised puppies. I am experienced with a wide variety of breeds from my time volunteering at the Fairfield Humane Society and have spent time pet sitting for many of my neighbors. I work remotely part time, so I set my own hours. This gives me ample time to spend with your best friend while you work or have other commitments to ensure everyone is happy and healthy. I have a fenced in backyard and am willing to cater my care to your dogs preferences from walk time to crate time and everything in between.

About: Growing up, I had a Jack Russell-rat terrier mix named Scrappy. He was full of energy and had a fun-loving nature. Scrappy became an integral part of our family from the day we brought him home. My favorite thing to do was take him on long walks or enjoy watching him run around with other dogs at the dog park. He was a good boy, and we loved him because of his unwavering love towards us. Later in his life, Scrappy began having frequent seizures. He was put on a strict medication regimen that required us to mix gabapentin into his food twice a day. To ensure he got his medication at the right dose and time, I was responsible for splitting a capsule each morning to mix half of it in his bowl of food. Further down the road, Scrappy was diagnosed with renal failure at just 8 years old. Although Scrappy was with us for only a short time, he left an eternal imprint on myself and each of my family members. He was my best friend! As the roommate of a dog owner, I consider myself a co-pet owner and love her dog Caspian as I would love my own dog! I am looking forward to provide nurturing and genuine pet care to people seeking a dog sitter. I have experience in administering medication to pets as well as overcoming diverse situations. As a trusted dog lover, I will be committed to getting to know your pet and meet your dog sitting needs! I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday, and I am only available on the weekends (Friday night through Sunday afternoon!) to provide pet care! However, starting in June of 2025 I will be available any day or time and will be on summer break. At that time I can provide week long pet care to cater to your needs, such as if you’re just going on a vacation for a week! As a former dog owner, I provided exceptional care to my Scrappy by taking him on long walks and playing with him indoors and outdoors. Although I will not be offering services within my own home, I will care for pets in my client’s home by adjusting to their individual needs for their pet. If they have a fenced-in yard, I will make sure to take the dog out and pick up after them, while also taking them for walks outside. If they need require me to stay overnight I will ensure their pet is as comfortable and well-taken care of as they would be if their owners were home.
