That experience sparked my love for animals and taught me the importance of being gentle, responsible, and patient. Christina went above and beyond in her first time cat/housesitting our beloved Misty. Misty has chronic IBD, and requires transdermal medication on her ear. Misty's a bit anxious and historically has only allowed me to administer the medication, but Christina was such a pro that she was able to administer the medication while we were away with no issues! Beyond that, she was super communicative, sent ample cute photos, and left our house cleaner than we left it. 12/10, will be booking her again!
Katherine was flexible and so kind with our pup who had recently injured one of his paws. Not only was she able to accommodate a last minute booking, she also quickly scheduled a meet and greet prior to her house sitting. She sent lots of pictures, made sure to stick to his routine, and treated our home with respect. We would gladly rebook with Katherine anytime.
Georgia and Andrew were great! They took care of our dog and cats for three weeks in our home. They have great communication, and left our house in better shape that when we left for our trip. Our pets warmed up to both of them quickly, and Georgia and Andrew had excellent instincts for how to help the dog and cats acclimate to them. We would definitely call them again in the future!
I’m so grateful for the amazing care Peggy gave my three cats. I think another review summed it up perfectly, calling her “The Mary Poppins of Cats”! On her visit to my house to meet the cats and have a walkthrough, all three cats were insta toy happy and relaxed and affectionate with her, including one guy who is normally shy, and one gal who is VERY picky about the humans she hangs out with! I was so impressed and instantly knew I’d made the right call booking Peggy. During her stay Peggy was always communicative and good natured. She’s a gifted cat photographer and shared some of the best pics I’ve ever seen of the cats, many times a day. It was wonderful to see how relaxed the cats were, and that they were plainly having fun with Peggy and enjoying her stay. I got the impression Peggy genuinely enjoyed hanging out with the cats, and that it was very mutual from the feline end. She went above and beyond by offering to swing by after work while I was travelling back to give the cats dinner. She had only been booked until breakfast but that extra kindness was a huge relief for me when I found out my flight was delayed. She left my house in beautiful condition, and the cats were super relaxed when I got home. Thanks Peggy, you’re a legend for a reason!
Vee was amazing! We had a meet and greet with her and our dog and cat before we hired her, and we knew immediately from her sweet energy that she would be perfect for the job. She stayed at our house over the weekend and we could barely tell that she had set a foot inside when we returned. She was extremely respectful, clean, communicative, and such a natural with our somewhat temperamental and particular dog :) We recommend Vee without hesitation and will look forward to hiring her again for our next trip away.
Shanna was the BEST cat sitter I've EVER had!!!! I'd had a friend in place to watch my 3 cats for well over a month before traveling to India for 2 weeks when, 2 days before leaving the friend calls while I'm at the nail salon getting my first manicure in over 20 years, to tell me they can no longer pet sit! In a total panic, I start looking at the first site that popped up on google: Rover. And Thank you Jesus, it was! From the get go, Shanna was wonderful. Her calm, non judgement demeanor immediately put me at ease and to which I am so grateful for. The next day we met, we go over care info, yah. But, being the pet mom that I am, I'm still a little worried. I've just left my babies with a total stranger! Turns out I was worrying over nothing. Shanna followed my detailed instructions to the letter. Shanna also checked in with pictures of my kitties all throughout my trip, perfectly timed; not too often or going to long without letting me know all was going well, so much so I never once had to contact her even once during my trip, as she was already on top of doing so. What a relief that was! And the cherry on top of it all was I came back to not one of my 3 cats being mad at me for leaving them with a stranger! And cat owners know just how incredible that is! So, if you are looking for an AMAZING cat sitter, who really understands cats I cannot recommend Shanna enough! I will be hiring her again without a doubt! Emma was fantastic! From the moment we booked, she was incredibly communicative and made me feel totally at ease. She sent daily updates—sometimes even more than once a day—and included tons of adorable photos. It was clear she really cared and took the time to keep Remi happy and comfortable. Hannah was excellent with Tyson. Very friendly and they spent the day together. They went for car rides, and walks. Tyson was tired at the end of the exciting day with Hannah. Big thanks to Olivia for her attentive and detailed care of our very particular senior yorkie dog. It is hard for us to leave him in anyone else’s care but she was willing to work with us to come stay in our home with him while we were away. She sent pictures and videos multiple times every day. He seems to have had zero problems with her and we are so grateful. We would certainly reach out to her again if needed in the future.
Angelina was punctual and great with Piper. We moved into the area fairly recently and were a bit worried that Piper would be more anxious than normal, but Angelina made her feel comfortable and gave us updates throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again :)
