About: As cliche as it sounds, taking care of pets isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds – from snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs of all sizes, to fish and cats, including elderly pets.🐶🐍🐰🐢🐱 I’ve been there for potty training, administering medication, grooming, scheduled feedings, and maintaining teeth hygiene. To me, animals are pure and down-to-earth, and deserve the same respect ❤️ I don’t do this just for the money – I do it because I genuinely care about animals. I’ve heard too many sad stories about boarding pets somewhere, not getting the care they deserve, and the excessive costs involved, and I want to change that. This home is as much theirs as it is mine. I offer a six-foot fully gated yard, big enough for several animals to bask in the sun or play with toys.🌤️ I have several dog beds (and furniture) with enough space to care for your babies. Even the smaller critters or pets that aren’t cats and dogs! I recently used Rover myself and was initially skeptical, worried, and just overall leery about the situation. 😅But it turned out to be a wonderful experience, and now I want others to have the same peace of mind and enjoyment. I want pet owners to feel confident that their animals are in good hands so they can truly relax and enjoy their own vacation, knowing their pets are having a great time too.☺️ And if I could, I’d give myself five out of five stars, rated highly by Forbes ⭐️for providing top notch safety and security to help ease your pet’s separation from you while you’re away. It’s a big decision to make who you can trust your animals with, and I am happy to help 🫶 The question is how do I fit pet care into my routine- but I don’t “fit it” into my routine. I follow my animals routine, and what they need to be their best self. I am make it a priority on managing potty breaks, feedings, treats, and everything in between. It especially helps that I am home most of my days, and wouldn’t mind more company ☺️ It’s not that I just want to “provide care.” I feel like anyone could do that, but it’s more of bonding with that animal. It’s learning their needs, routine, and having patience with them. My goal is for them to not view me as a complete stranger, and more as a good friend to have 💕With that being said- I would love to take your dog on a walk, feed them, grooming, playing, and giving all the love they deserve! If there is good communication and understanding, I would be happy to help with proper medication or medical needs as well 🩷

About: Hello! I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the person eager to help care for them. I’ve raised and trained a dog of my own and have looked after many others since my teens. I’ve also had two cats, so I’m no stranger to feline personalities, whether they’re cuddly, independent, or a little dramatic. Over the years, I’ve also cared for a variety of reptiles and amphibians, so I’m comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and species. Animals have always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their unique quirks and routines. Whether your pet loves playtime, prefers quiet company, or just wants someone reliable to keep them safe and comfortable, I’ll make sure they receive the same care, patience, and attention I’d give my own pets. 🐾 For the summer, I am very flexible and I am completely free for most days. I prefer working weekdays in the mid morning or afternoon/evening but weekends and earlier times are no problem, don’t be afraid to ask! Starting Aug 6., I will be working 8am-3pm Monday-Friday. Still will be available any other times or days! I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I will keep a close eye on them whenever they are outside. I will always respect the surroundings of my client’s home and make sure to follow any instructions you provide. I am also happy to adapt to each pet’s individual needs so they feel comfortable and well cared for.

If I am sitting a cat or a reptile, I focus on spending quality, calm time with them, respecting their space, and keeping their environment clean and secure. I know how stressful it can be to leave your family member with someone new, so I send daily photo updates and quick text check-ins after every visit or walk. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment. Safety and trust are the absolute core of my pet-sitting philosophy. Coming from a CNA background, I am professionally trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, monitor well-being, and maintain a highly organized, clean environment. When pets are in my 700-square-foot apartment, they enjoy a calm and securely enclosed space. To ensure maximum safety and a stress-free environment, I enforce a strict policy of only hosting one dog or cat family at a time—your pet will never be forced to share space with another strange cat or dog. Out on walks, your dog's safety is my top priority. I always keep dogs securely attached to standard, heavy-duty leashes (I never use unpredictable retractable leashes) and maintain complete awareness of our surroundings to avoid any tense interactions with off-leash neighborhood dogs. For small animals, reptiles, and cats, I ensure all enclosures are double-checked and entry doors are tightly secured before anyone is let out for supervised stretching or play. About: Hello! My name is Gretchen and I am 21 years old studying Environmental Science at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I have dog sat since I was 10 years old for a variety of breeds. I am very comfortable around big labs or even tiny chihuahuas! I will treat any dog like it’s my own family and give them so much love when its own family is away. I love dogs more than people!! I have experience in giving dogs any type of medicine. I’ve given shots to elderly dogs and pills to pups whenever they need it in a very timely manner. I am CPR certified as well I am a full time student but I am free all summer! I can take care of your dogs when you go on those amazing summer vacations. My schedule is very flexible so don’t be afraid to reach out! I live in an apartment so going to your place would be ideal. At your place I will clean anything you need me to! I will clean up after the dog and you won’t be disappointed!

About: I've had dogs for most of my adult life. I currently provide care for a spoiled 12 year old girl who I love dearly. I'm looking to meet other dogs to care for as well. I'm semi-retired and available week day mornings, afternoons and on most weekends. I live near Holmes Lake in Lincoln and would love to meet dogs in my neighborhood. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as my yard is not fenced. I like getting exercise so would get both of us a good walk! I'm also fine just checking in on your dog and letting them into the backyard if you have a fenced yard. Otherwise, I would like for both of us to get out into nature and walk!

About: Hi, I’m Avery and have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I’ve been in charge of training, walking, bathing, and caring for senior dogs. Not only have these been my dogs, but others that I have been a sitter for. I’m currently a student-athlete on the soccer team at University of Nebraska so the fall schedule while we are in season can get a little crazy. I currently have practices and classes during the week, but I frequently come home during the early afternoon and after dinner in between these events. I will always be home during the evening to take your pet on long walks or do whatever their favorite activity is! In my own home we never had a fence, so I am very comfortable with dogs both on and off the leash, whatever you prefer. I have also had dogs that are friendly with others and ones that are more aggressive, so I am used to handling both.

About: I’ve mostly cared for bigger dogs with a lot of energy. I regularly look after my friend’s pets as well as my family’s. I have a dog of my own, she’s very active and friendly. I’ve had her for over a year and learned so much about dogs from being a pet parent. I got to school part-time but I still have quite a bit of time throughout the day for check-ins. The weekends are best for boarding. I like to do dog walking throughout the week. I spend most of my time at home so I don’t mind hosting at my home but I’ll also do care at a client’s home. I do not have a fenced in back yard but I live in an area with a lot of parks and open spaces. I do spend a lot of time outside so I’m comfortable with going out for multiple walks a day. I don’t provide treats of my own unless the owner asks me too or if they tell me what they’re okay with their pet eating. I don’t give pets food I’m eating because I don’t want them to choke or they could get sick.

About: I have taken care of my own personal animals for about 6 years now (hence the years of experience), but I have also taken care of many other animals before living on my own! I have had experience giving diabetes medication to cats before (injection). I also have experience giving pills, ointments, and eye drops! I have no college classes during the summer, but I do have a part-time job that is extremely flexible and I can go work when I want to within a certain time frame of days. I am very communicative so just let me know if I need to stay the night, how often I need to be at your home, etc… and I can work with anything! :-) I cannot house any pets unfortunately at my place, however I can make as many visits or keep as much company with your fur babies as needed!
