About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs in my family. However now that I’m an out-of-state student, I’ve been feeling homesick and it especially doesn’t help that I’m not around any dog love anymore. I heard about Rover through a friend and felt that this would help me with what I’ve been feeling. About: Hi! I’m Sidney, I love all animals and it’s truly important for me to make sure pets are happy and loved when their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I know how much anxiety leaving pets behind brings when travelling. It’s so important to me to make sure the pets I care for receive the same kind of love I would want for my own cat. Skills & Experience: -Cared for family dogs and cats for 17 years, including daily walks. Provided pet-sitting for 15+ years -Current cat owner of 1 cat for 5 years. -Provided drop-in visits and overnight dog-sitting through rover for 3 years I’d love to help out with drop-ins and walking in a regular basis in my neighborhood. I work 9-6 on weekdays, so I can do morning and evening walks and drop-ins. Also, I can do over night pet-sitting as needed. I’m very responsible and reliable. I truly enjoy playing and interacting with both dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. I would love to help you make having a pet more do-able and stress-free! I work a 8-5 job Monday-Friday. I can do check-ins before work and after work. For stays I am unable to stop by during the day, unless you love near downtown. In the month of June, I can work from home (your house) the second half of the day. I only provide stays at your home. I can follow whatever safety and care requirements you have, besides taking the dog out mid-day on weekdays.

About: With three cattle dog pups of my own, I’m no stranger to high energy days, big personalities, and the occasional case of the zoomies! I’ve cared for my dogs for over four years and have even become an honorary godparent to many of my friends’ pets. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Over the years, pet care has become a natural part of my daily routine. I’m used to making time for walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of cuddles throughout the day and now have the flexibility in my schedule to do a whole lot more! When I’m caring for your pets in their home, I want them to feel as comfortable and loved as they do with you. This means sticking to their usual routines, getting to know their unique personalities, what they enjoy, and all the companionship they could need. I love to keep everyone updated with lots of photos, videos, and messages through each visit to ensure the best care is being provided.

Back home, I have a black lab and a cat, and I’ve also taken care of dogs, cats, and foster puppies through pet-sitting and house-sitting. About: I’ve loved and taken care of cats and dogs since I was 6 years old. My goal is to provide your fur babies with excellent care! I absolutely love dogs! As a hobby, I’ve studied dogs on my free time over the past three years. Different breeds, temperament, health, behavior, and training. I have experience caring for dogs in my youth and for my family and friends where I’ve been able to practice basic obedience training through both food driven and play driven dogs. Though, I’m not certified yet, in the future, I aspire to obtain my basic obedience training certificate and move to advanced training. I’m currently working full-time, but wish to get into the pet care industry. I’m available Monday and Tuesdays between 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM MST for dog walks and drop-ins for in home pet care and will love to take care of your pup’s or kitty’s needs. I hold myself to the upmost integrity in anything I do. I’ll be an excellent choice to be entrusted with your fur babies as a dog walker. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

About: I have had a number of pets over the years from dogs to cats to various rodents and a couple of birds. I currently have four wonderful rescue dogs and two rescue cats. In addition to having my own pets, I've taken care of many of my friend's and family's pets while they were away, and have learned a lot about animal behaviors from volunteering for the Humane Society. I have a lot of flexibility in my daily routine. I can schedule work hours around pet care responsibilities, so I'm available to check-in on, or walk, your pet on short notice, as well as take care of your pet while you're away. I believe that the best way to lessen a pet's stress when their person isn't available is to keep their routine as close to normal as possible. Whether this means regularly scheduled walks or potty break/feeding times or spending time with them in the evenings, I would be happy to help your pet when circumstances arise that take you away from your home and pet.

About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I also want to note that I am a full time college student, my schedule is below for more information. Just keep scrolling and you will see “schedule” section. Thank you :) I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!
