She genuinely cares about the welfare of animals in general, and especially those connected by a leash (i.e., our pets). Frannie not only watches our 2 medium-sized, rowdy girls (Kona and Honey Bear) when I am out of town, but she is the go-to pet sitter for our neighbors' dogs and other pets. She will play and love on the pets, clean up after them (no matter how gross), and take photos for the humans (which is a sweet add-on). She is responsible and hard-working, honest and kind. We adopted an American Staffordshire mix (Honey Bear) when I worked at our municipal shelter, so Francesca also learned a lot about animal welfare (breed biases, common illnesses, community resources) through me. You should hire her.”

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was born, basically. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I currently own an 12-year-old pug, who I take care of with my partner. I feed my pug every morning and night. He is a senior pooch who is blind and has mobility issues, so I attend to him well to make sure he is as comfortable as possible. I keep a close eye on him when he is outside, and walk him as often as he can handle. I love to be around my pets, so I keep them close by when I am at home. I love having structured playtime, walking time, and of course, down time.

About: My life has revolved around the pets I have had in my life. With the experience of caring for dogs and cats, whether they are juveniles or old souls for the majority of my life, I have learned that they are your child and as their caretaker, they rely on you at the end of the day. Animals have always been sacred and treated like family in my household. As my mother always said, if a person and an animal were about to fall off a cliff, I'd save the animal, and I couldn't agree more! I work from home so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pet. There wouldn't be any interruptions from limiting myself from your animal's needs based on my schedule. I always show love and affection to my animals. They need that as much as humans do. I always keep my eye on the animals in the household to make sure they are comfortable as well as the water bowl. My family dogs back home always eat no more than twice a day but are rewarded with treats every so often. They have a potty schedule that I follow and would be able to do the same for your pet.

She establishes relationships with the dogs prior to sitting, and then renews these relationships if a large chunk of time has elapsed since the last gig. She is super helpful and thoughtful in adding activities and actions -- not just with the dogs, but around the house, for example, closing in my chickens and putting shades down if I won't return until after dark.”
