âSavanah did an outstanding job caring for my two German Shorthair Pointer while I went on vacation. She spent quality time with them, took them on walks played with them in the backyard and kept me updated with great communication throughout. Itâs clear she truly cares about animals and I felt completely comfortable, leaving my dogs in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Sheâs definitely a five star dog sitter.â

About: Iâm very well around with pets, not only am I good in pet care Iâm also a dog groomer (8 years) so I know a lot about animals and what they need. Iâm doing this full time so I have so much time on my hands to spend with your furry babies. Plus I love walking and doing play dates or just going on a hike. I have two wonderful playful dogs who would love to make friends and join us on our hiking or long walk days. Even to just come to the dog park with us.
âThis was my first time using Rover and was uneasy about having someone stay at the house. Dalia was great about sending photos, communication and following the directions given for Jax and her stay. Jax's overall behavior was happy when I got home with no anxiety of me being away from him for so long. I would definitely use Dalia again.â

âBillie took excellent care of our dogs while we were away and our dogs absolutely love her! In the past we havenât been able to find anyone who was willing to stay with our dogs and care for them that they also liked. When we got home they werenât anxious they acted like we had been gone as few hours instead of almost a week. She sent us pictures and texts daily to let us know how they were doing. In the future she is our number one choice for the care of our dogs.â

âAva was absolutely incredible with our boy!!! He adored her right away, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. She provided excellent communication and updates, stuck to his schedule, and gave him so much love, attention, and playtime. She genuinely cared about him and loved him, and that meant the world to us â¤ď¸ I highly recommend Ava to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter!â

âVirginia was great/ she kept me informed the whole time, sent me plenty of pictures and videos. Our pups are not high maintenance by any means but I like for them to stay active and not just lay around and she did a good job of keeping them entertained through out the day. Will be using her for drop ins that how much we enjoyed her !â

âThis was our first time hiring Faith, and we couldnât be happier with the experience. From the start, she was prompt and professional in her communication. She kept us updated while we were away and even sent us pictures of our dog, which gave us peace of mind. Faith made the entire process easy and stress-free. We felt confident our pet and home were in great hands. We will definitely continue to use her services in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.â

âChristina did a great job taking care of my GSP Razz. She spent time with them, took him on a walk, play ball and make sure that he stayed on track with his schedule. Iâve had the pleasure of having her watch Razz on two separate visits and both times she did a good job. I would highly recommend her.â

âWe are so grateful to Michelle! She took care of our fur babies like they were her own. She was also an amazing house sitter and took care of our house as if it were her own also. She also was great at communicating with us and sent several pictures to us throughout the weekend. We canât wait to have her watch our babies again! Thanks Michelle!!!â

âAlicia is so wonderful she has stayed to house sit our fur babies a few times now and I canât speak more highly of her! She sends lots of pictures and updates that really helps ease the stress of being away. Also I had a few other sitters between and my cat would not come out for anyone else! She truly has such a warm, loving energy â your pets will love her and your place will be in the best of hands! Thanks Alicia!!! â¤ď¸â

About: Iâve had pets all my life, cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs and fish. As I matured I fell in love with Labradorâs and usually have 2 - however we rescued a Lhasa 11 years ago and got our newest baby lab 6 year years ago. I love walking and having a dog by my side as is a daily activity. I have been helping a friend who has a pet sitting business and really enjoyed it so I decided to join Rover! I treat my fur babies just as that my babies! I keep a good eye on them and make sure they exercise daily. I am very dependable and very caring! I would love to meet your fur babies and would be honored to care for them in your absences. If your a new client I would like to have a meet and greet prior to excepting the request. I want you to feel 100% confident with me with your fur babies. I look forward to meeting you!! Iâm recently retired and decided that I just canât sit still. Iâm tired of just sitting at work so what a better job to have, pet sitting, dog walking, playing with kitties and strolling with the best of the best dogs! This has been a dream come true-to keep busy taking care of fur babies. We have a fenced yard, we try and keep the pets as close to their own time frames on eating. Give fresh water, walks and snuggles. We have a friendly lab to play with or we can kennel him. We provide companionship and exercise and snuggles.

âKayleigh did an amazing job taking care of Phoebe. During the fireworks she was attentive and patient. This was my first time booking with Kayleigh and we looking forward to re-booking her in the future.â

âLexuz stayed several days live in and everyone is so happy and well taken care of! Her communication was proactive, excellent and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to pickup keys and make sure we felt comfortable, and the pets did too!â

âAbsolutely amazing dog sitter! Rachel took such great care of our dogs and kept us updated the whole time with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would absolutely book with Rachel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!â

âJessica was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Riley and Cash while we were away, providing updates and photos that truly put our mind at ease. It was clear she treated them like her own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups, and I couldnât be more grateful. If you're looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, Jessica is the one to book! Iâll definitely be using her services again.â

âStelia was punctual and did a great job taking care of our 17 year old fur baby on New Yearâs eve. We had to modify our time and Stalia was flexible meeting our needs. Iâd totally recommend Stalia and will for sure use her services again.â

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 3,325 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Liberty. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitterâs presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Liberty walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your homeâs security or appliances.
Itâs helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Liberty maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate theyâll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your petâs profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Liberty choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Liberty. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
