This was our very first time using Rover and also the first time leaving our 1-year-old puppy, along with our 14-year-old dog, so we were naturally very anxious. From the very beginning, June was incredibly sweet, patient, and loving with both of them. About: I have dog-sat on multiple occasions for various neighbors and acquaintances up to 4-5 days at a time. Some of these requiring me to spend multiple hours playing with the dogs at a time and administering medicine to them. I have had four dogs of my own throughout my life so I know how to clean up messes and problem solve. I have also had to take care of dogs in every stage of life for this reason too. I have volunteered at the local rescue shelter near my college in which I would take dogs for a good chunk of the day to socialize and play with. I am still currently on the hunt for a part-time job, but that means as of right now I have a pretty open schedule to take care of pets! I can organize my day around what is needed. I can do all that is requested to keep pets safe in the home, and if needed can think on my feet for whatever situations may arise. I have had difficult dogs myself, so I understand how to take control while also being kind to the animals. I will not disrespect the space of the homeowner either :)
