Only my roommate had really kept them so I was incredibly nervous about them staying with someone else. Christy did great with Kai the husky and had no problem at all. I have over 25 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, and currently have two dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. The space includes direct access to a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunity for outside! I am a full time remote employee, so I am here all the time. We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.

About: I have 4 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 3 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12. They are only crated if I go out for an extended period of time. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs get on very well with other dogs, and are accustomed to other dogs coming into the house. Over the last couple of years I have hosted numerous dogs of different breeds, ages and sizes. I have numerous repeat customers. I also have other apps that I use for sitting, and do privately. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for house, farm, and hunting dogs from puppies to senior dogs. Being around so many different types of dogs has taught me how to handle different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, exercise, administering basic care, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every dog like my own and always make reliability, attention, and communication a priority. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available from mornings through after dinner for walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, or overnight care. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to adjust to a pet’s normal schedule and make sure they stay comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I make sure pets stay comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I always keep a clean, secure environment and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pet feels relaxed and cared for while they’re away. I also keep owners updated with daily messages and photos so they know their pet is safe and in good hands.

“Christy was incredible with my two pups. One is older and the other a husky that is such a diva at times. Only my roommate had really kept them so I was incredibly nervous about them staying with someone else. Christy did great with Kai the husky and had no problem at all. She immediately sent me updates after I left showing me they had settled down and were doing well. She continued sending me updates each morning and evening, and when I picked them up they looked great and were so happy. Christy is amazing and what she does and you can tell she is an animal lover. She is a medium sized mixed breed but does have some terrier in her! She is very friendly and can be high energy. I have two kids ages 9 and 6 who also love dogs and all animals. We would prefer your pet be comfortable with kids running around. We are a smoke-free home and would love nothing more than to love on your baby while you're away! Pets are allowed on furniture like couches and beds.
