“We are so thankful for Candice and Matt, and their sweet children, for giving our two pups a fun, safe and loving vacation home while we were out of town! One of our pups has a severe allergy and Candice and Matt were very comfortable and had experience with how to handle a potential issue, which really put our minds at ease. We knew our pups were in the best hands! They also sent updates and photos every day, and we were so happy to see our pups running around their beautiful yard and fitting right into the family. We absolutely recommend Candice and Matt to care for your furbabies!”

“I can’t recommend Jamie enough! Remi settled in right away and clearly made herself right at home. The regular updates and pictures meant the world to me, and communication was always fast and reliable. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Alexis was great with my one stay with Roxy. She took the pup on a walk and gave her lots of love and treats. She has a very loving and welcoming home that my dog felt immediately at ease. Home was clean organized and well taken care of! 5/5 will book again.”

“Marcus was the perfect choice for keeping our senior dog. He was so attentive. He cared for Rex like he would his own dog. He sends pictures and updates frequently. When issues arose, Marcus reached out immediately and asked for guidance and offered assistance. I was able to fully relax and enjoy our family trip knowing that Marcus was keeping Rex exercised, fed and cuddled.”

“We are so thankful we found Deborah. Our pup had the best time and came home so happy. Deborah sent regular pictures and updates and made us feel at ease that our girl was being taken care of :)”

“Melissa was an excellent sitter for our teacup chihuahua. He is 16, blind and hard of hearing which required a little extra precaution. Her nursing background definitely put us at ease. She sent pictures to us while we were out of the country and let ys know how he was doing. She took him for walks in a doggy stroller and gave him lots of love. She also administered his meds. I would highly recommend Melissa to care for your fur baby! We will absolutely use her services again. Thank you Melissa!”
“I cant’t say enough wonderful things about Sherri and the care she provided our Goldendoodle, Reese! Reese felt comfortable with her immediately and it was apparent when we picked her up that she had the best time. The daily updates with pictures and videos detailing her adventures made us feel incredibly at ease while we were away. Reese has certainly found her new home away from home! 💜”

“Sharon and her husband gave our dog wonderful care and attention. Sharon sent photos and updates every day. She is a clear communicator and we have zero complaints. Happy to book this sitter again in the future!”

“Kristin was so kind and easy to work with. Her set up was perfect for Ren to have space to run and play and be safe. I appreciated the pics she sent of him playing with her dog, Walter. We will certainly choose Kristin again for future pet needs! Highly recommend!”

“Serenity did a wonderful job hosting our pup. She provided frequent updates with photos, and was very responsive to all communication. Would absolutely book with again!!”

“Our little guy was in the best of hands with Simone! Daily pics and communication from her put our mind at ease and we were grateful for the one on one attention he was given. If there were more than 5 stars, we would give them!”

“Robin took amazing care of our golden doodle! We will definitely be using her again. We really appreciated the updates and how quickly she responded to our questions. It gave us such peace of mind to have Robin caring for our girl.”

“Max stayed for over 2wks with Jennifer and Michael. They sent me pictures regularly and Max came back with as much energy as he was dropped off with…so I know he was played with plenty. It was great getting pictures of him with all the other dogs. He’s normally the only dog at home, so I know he loved playing with the other dogs while he was there. It was great to see him pulled in as part of their family while we were gone.”

“Christy was incredible with my two pups. One is older and the other a husky that is such a diva at times. Only my roommate had really kept them so I was incredibly nervous about them staying with someone else. Christy did great with Kai the husky and had no problem at all. She immediately sent me updates after I left showing me they had settled down and were doing well. She continued sending me updates each morning and evening, and when I picked them up they looked great and were so happy. Christy is amazing and what she does and you can tell she is an animal lover. When I need to leave town again I will definitely want to reuse her services. Thank you so much Christy!”

“This is the second time using Samantha and she continues to be the best choice with my pups. It is truly a blessing to be able to leave your fur babies with someone and trust they are cared for in the same manner as they are at home.”

About: Over the last two plus years I have been pet sitting for my sister and my aunt's cats and learning how pace myself differently with them than I do with dogs. I move more slowly and speak more quietly to respect their environment and comfort. I know every cat has a very prominent personality, and it takes someone flexible, adaptable, and patient to take good care of them. Thankfully, being around animals in general has taught me to stay out of my comfort zone to ensure they can stay in theirs.
“Dani is fantastic! She's very friendly, prompt, super sweet to our puppy and the delight to have around! She will ask you questions regarding your specific needs and will give you updates about her visits. Couldn't ask for a better puppy sitter!”

“Marissa did a great job house/cat sitting while we were away for a few days. She was punctual, communicated with us how things were going, and most importantly, took great care of our cat!!”

“We had wonderful experiences with Jacey as our cat sitter. She was kind and helpful. Our kitties are comfortable and well cared for when it'son her watch. We definitely recommend her and will book again!”

“Megan is a gem, from the moment I contacted her to care for my dog she was nothing but kind and professional. She provided great updates throughout his stay and I felt my fur baby was in good hands. Its clear she cares for animals. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Jamie was a wonderful sitter ❤️ she was attentive and gracious and kept my puppy safe. Kuzco loved playing with her dogs and he was happy and well worn at the end of the day, which is hard to do with the puppy energy! Jamie was flexible with my last minute, changing schedule around the holidays and I am very thankful!”

“I’ve used Rover in more cities and states than I can count while traveling with Hal, and the experiences have nearly always been excellent. But Samantha is in a class all her own. She’s professional, loving, enthusiastic, flexible, and genuinely caring — everything you could hope for in someone looking after your dog. Her communication was outstanding, with thoughtful updates and great photos throughout Hal’s stay. I always felt completely at ease knowing he was in her hands. If there were a six-star option, I’d give it without hesitation. Thank you, Samantha — truly!”

“Alexis and her family were wonderful with my 7 month old mini poodle pup. We ended up in a big jam and needed last minute day care for four days. I sent an inquiry at 8:30 the night before, and Alexis responded within a couple of minutes! She was also great at reporting in and sending photos. My pup was well cared for and had a wonderful time playing with their darling young son and sweet dog. Big thanks to Alexis and her terrific family!!”

“Simone was an absolutely wonderful sitter for Liam! At first I was a little hesitant because I saw she had three dogs, but do not let that deter you. Her dogs are so cute , and friendly, and my dog had such a fun time with them. In fact it was a plus!!! Her husband was also very kind with Liam. I highly recommend Simone.. and I would use her again in a heartbeat!!”

About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.
“Jennifer and Michael are fabulous and very accommodating with my schedule. They treat Mack like one of their own and part of the family. I would highly recommend them!”

“Fantastic!! They were SO good with our skittish dog, and were super communicative. We were coming from out of town on a family emergency, and were able to book with Erik at the last minute. We are so grateful for their five-star treatment of our pup while we spent time with loved ones.”

About: **Due to extreme heat this summer I will use my discretion with shortening walks for your dog’s health** Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
“Alexandrea took great care of our dogs and was very flexible with our drop off and pick up times. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter if you are looking for one in this area!”

This deep personal experience, combined with my flexible availability ensures professional and cozy care tailored to each dog's needs. Since I work from home, taking care of dogs fits perfectly into my day. I’m able to check in on them frequently and give them plenty of breaks and playtime. Because I’m home almost 24/7, I can easily adjust my schedule to fit each dog’s unique needs and routines, making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away. I ensure that all dogs are treated with love and respect. Letting them know they’re safe and that everything is okay while their humans are away is of utmost importance to me.
About: I grew up in a very dog-friendly family, I've currently got two beloved dogs at home, and I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for years. I have a very flexible schedule and walking is already a huge part of my day. I work from home so I’m able to travel during the day as well. I'm available during the weekday mainly and weekends are less flexible but I'm happy to work with you to get something booked. Please let me know if your dog has any other needs or expectations. Their safety and happiness are my main priorities and I want to make sure that we have a great time together! :)

About: I have dog-sat on multiple occasions for various neighbors and acquaintances up to 4-5 days at a time. Some of these requiring me to spend multiple hours playing with the dogs at a time and administering medicine to them. I have had four dogs of my own throughout my life so I know how to clean up messes and problem solve. I have also had to take care of dogs in every stage of life for this reason too. I have volunteered at the local rescue shelter near my college in which I would take dogs for a good chunk of the day to socialize and play with. I am still currently on the hunt for a part-time job, but that means as of right now I have a pretty open schedule to take care of pets! I can organize my day around what is needed. I can do all that is requested to keep pets safe in the home, and if needed can think on my feet for whatever situations may arise. I have had difficult dogs myself, so I understand how to take control while also being kind to the animals. I will not disrespect the space of the homeowner either :)
About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years. I am currently on staff at my church right now as outreach and ministry team so my times I am unavailable are Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's after 5:00pm. I go to church on Sunday mornings but I can always watch virtually so I can tend to pets overnight. I care for animals as I would care for myself I believe in all life is precious and that any life created is family to me which most certainly includes pets. My approach comes from being gentle, reacting/reading body language, minding my emotions and actions because animals are sensitive to those, and just showering them with love the way THEY want to receive it not how I want to give it. It is their comfort and wellbeing over mine and I will do everything in my power to ensure a healthy environment for everybody's animals.
“Megan was wonderful! So prompt and always on time! Always left very descriptive and comforting notes. Went above and beyond what I asked for and I felt so confident leaving my boy in her hands.”

“WOW! Barbara is the BEST. She took such great care of my dog Winnie while I was out of town. She fed, watered, walked, and played with Winnie and sent me prompt updates with multiple photos each day! She even picked up my mail for me! Cannot recommend Barbara enough. She is thoughtful, warm, and polished. I was so scared to leave my dog in someone else’s care and Barbara absolutely assuaged any concerns I had. 12/10. Will be rebooking!! 💕”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was at least 12, and have watched and walked dogs from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I've done many overnight sits, and am able to house sit as well as pet sit. I love to offer pets the best care possible by spending quality time with them and giving them all the love they deserve. Pets have always been around in my family so I know the importance of truly treating and loving them like family. I am a hard working, loving, and thoughtful caregiver that will make your pets feel like you never left. I recently moved to Portland and am looking to save up for graduate school during my gap year. As long as I know a day or more in advance, I am willing to help out whenever needed. I only give the most respectful care that has been asked of me, and can perform any job from walking outdoors or simply being company for your pet! The care is built on love and attention that I know my pets would want from their caregiver.
About: Trusted Dog Care—What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the genuine love and attention I give to every dog in my care. I don’t just “watch” pets—I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they are part of my own family. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies who need patience, structure, and consistency to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or help sticking to a routine. I understand how important it is to follow instructions carefully, especially when it comes to feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special care needs. Because I have a five-year-old Golden Retriever named Harley, I’m very familiar with daily routines, exercise needs, and giving plenty of affection and playtime. I’m comfortable reinforcing good habits, maintaining routines, and making sure dogs feel secure in their environment. My goal is always to make things as stress-free as possible for both dogs and their owners, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in dependable and caring hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own five-year-old Golden Retriever, Harley. My days are built around making sure he is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention and consistency, so I’m already used to maintaining a structured and reliable routine for an active dog. Because of this, I’m able to easily incorporate pet care for others into my schedule. I’m flexible and organized, which allows me to plan walks, feeding times, playtime, and check-ins around each pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s early morning visits, midday drop-ins, or evening care, I make sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they are used to. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I prioritize and look forward to, not something I squeeze in. My goal is always to make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away. I have a deep love for dogs and always enjoy being around animals. It brings me so much joy! I am a college student but my afternoons are usually free and on weekends I always go home if I have nothing planned and spent time with my pets and family. I am very respectful of others space and possessions. I understand I am a guest and act accordingly and take up minimal space and don’t abuse the generosity and trust clients have put in me.
“Christy is an energetic dog lover who did a great job exercising my Golden Retriever! She is very punctual and reliable. Buddy came back from his walks tired and very happy. I will be using Christy again! Highly recommended!”

“Victoria and Michael provided loving care to my sweet Kili on her first visit ever to their home while I was travelling. Every day, Victoria sent me pictures and brief videos, with quick text updates, to reassure me that Kili was safe, was having fun, and was making friends. I fully intend to use them again in the future when I need a dependable, loving sitter for my sweet girl. Big thanks to them for making Kili's first ever kennel experience a positive one!”

“I’m so grateful for the amazing care my dogs received from Lisa! They came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. Lisa made sure they were well-fed, comfortable, and got plenty of attention — even making sure they got a quick walk after the rain. Communication was smooth throughout, and I felt totally at ease while I was away. I’d absolutely trust her again for future stays. Highly recommend!”

“Cody was awesome. We have a large male German shepherd who is scared of his own shadow and he gave Cody a run for his money the first few days. Cody was very accommodating and took him a day early so we could leave for our vacation early. He sent me a picture just about every day. Communication was an A plus, We messaged everyday and he was quick to reply back. Very friendly. I know they went for some very long walks which my boy needed and loved. Thank you Cody. Your fur babies will be in Excellent hands, safe and well taken care of with the very nice young man.”

“This was our first experience using Rover and we were nervous to leave Buzz for a week but Ritch and his family were wonderful! Buzz immediately loved playing with the kids. Also really appreciated the updates and pictures!”

“Anel is kind and responsible. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up which I appreciated. Fiona got along great with her dog. I would definitely use her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Karen and I've been an avid and passionate animal lover my entire life. I have over 20 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Fog Rescue, and currently have two of my own dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. The space includes direct access to a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunity for outside! I am a full time remote employee, so I am here all the time. We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.
“Katie is wonderful! I was so worried about leaving my animals since I’ve never gone out of town without them! She was extremely flexible and took amazing care of my pups. I won’t book with anyone else on rover. Thank you again Katie!!!”

“Allison is wonderful with Ivory. Ivory loved being there with her new buddy Priya. When we picked her up she was excited to see us, but sad to leave. Ivory has made herself some new friends. Almost like the favorite aunt type feeling when you visit family. That one family member that everyone can't help but love.”

“We had a 10/10 Rover experience with Marissa! She was super easy to coordinate with and we could tell that she took the best care of Eddie. He was so sleepy when we brought him home from playing with her pup all weekend! We will definitely be calling her again.”
