About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals throughout my life. I have had a dog and a cat and I’m comfortable around all animals. I have a gentle personality and get along with all pets! About: I have had around 10 pets the past 10 years and I love animals so much!!!!! I will take care of your pets like there my own and make sure they feel loved!!!!! I currently play at FC Miami for semi pro soccer, and I played soccer at Barry university. So I have a lot of time after soccer (usually after 10/ 11 AM ) to take care of your pets!! About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!
About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. I house-sit and pet-sit for several family friends and relatives. I'm experienced with all kinds of animals. I've owned a very wide array of animals throughout my life, all the way from farm animals to reptiles, fish, rodents and everything in-between. My favorite animal is dogs of all kinds, but I can take care of other animals. I can do all kinds of medications and any special cares needs that your baby might need. I work from home and make my own schedule so I'm always available to host animals, house-sit animals, or just stop by for play time and potty time as frequently as needed. I have a fur baby of my own who is just over 3 years old and she loves other dogs. I have a fenced in yard where your fur babies can run and play freely. My baby is crate trained but can also be trusted to be left out. We let our dogs get on the furniture and sleep in the bed with us.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
