“Joanna and Gilbert took very good care of Snowy. They were very mindful of his feeding and walking schedule. Joanna was also very prompt with communication which I really appreciate.”

About: I have been around dogs since I was a kid and got my first dog at the age of five. Besides my personal experience taking care of all the dogs my family and I have had throughout the years, I have also done dog/cat sitting (overnight and drop in) for family friends. I am extremely thorough in my care for animals as I realize they are a part of the family. I have no issues working with animals (although I have mostly worked with dogs) who have high levels of energy or specific requirements. I have also overnight sat for more than one dog at a time. I work remote and am often able to care for dogs throughout my day. With a flexible work schedule, I can ensure that I am taking care of your dog whenever works best for them! While I am in an apartment, I live alone and have a fairly large space. Additionally I am only a few blocks from various dog parks (if that is something you allow). I would do everything in my power to ensure that your pet feels that my space is a safe environment for them and will be sure to communicate frequently with the owner about any questions that arise.

“Sonja had such a gentle demeanor with our 12 week old pup. From the start, she asked for a meet and greet, which was a very professional endeavor and immediately put her head and shoulders above other Rover sitters.”

“Taurus was great. Highly recommend. He’s communicative throughout the process. He suggested and then we easily arranged a meet and greet before he sat the dog. Great service”

“Mia is very attentive to detail and followed all our instructions with Chester! She has experience with reactive dogs too. We felt at ease leaving Chester with her and would definitely do so again!”

About: Patient, caring, loving. I,ve taken care of elderly dogs that require more attention. Im a doctor that takes care of living things. You won't be disappointed. Im flexible. I work around the needs of the pets and their owners. I work from home, so I have the ability to work around their needs. I take care of the pets as if they were my own. Lots of pets, cuddles, and attention as long as they as willing and comfortable. While following the instructions and rules of their owners.

“Pat was very patient with all my over explaining of our dogs’s care needs. I wrote up some guidance on what she needed and it was clear that Pat read through our requests and confirmed his understanding. Pat sent updates and pictures during our dog’s stay so that we knew she was doing well.”

“Willow had a lovely stay with Sky and the little ones. Sky is very accommodating and made it easier for me to have Willow stay with a sitter for the first time. I truly appreciate all the time and care!!”

About: It is rare that I ever meet a cat or dog that I don't get along with within minutes of meeting. I have lived with cats all my life but also love taking care of and playing with dogs. I am currently unemployed due to a layoff so I am very flexible timewise. I also love animals and walking around the city so this could be great for now. My fiancé and I currently live in a three-floor rowhome with a small fenced-in backyard. We have two cats and one is not a huge fan of dogs but can stay on his own floor during the day.

About: I love dogs and my girl Stella loves to make friends. Due to her play style Stella does best with small to medium dogs who also like to play. If your pup isn't into playing, we can always crate and rotate so everyone has a good experience. In addition to Stella, I have fostered more than 30 dogs over the past 8 years. I am extremely responsible and understand that our pets are family and I would treat them as such. I work from home full time so I'll be able to spend a lot of time with you pet and make sure they get plenty of exercise. I live near several walking paths so despite living in an apartment you pet will be able to get out for lots of enrichment walks. I have a private patio where they will be able sun bathe if they like that too!

“Asma is great! We had a nice meet and greet and Lulu has an awesome day with her. Asma was communicative and sent really cute photos throughout the day. Lulu the dog approved!!”

About: Hi! I‘m Mai, a true dog lover without a dog (for low!) I don’t have the capacity to care for one full-time, but still want dogs in my life. That’s why I’m her: to give your pup the love, attention and belly rubs they deserve. I‘m very reliable (maybe it’s my German passport 😀) and I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own. I have didn’t the past 2 years caring for my friends dogs - including wakings and overnights. I have taken care of my friends dogs (3 dogs) while traveling and really enjoy being with them. For larger dogs (40lbs and plus), I can only accommodate larger dogs if they are good at walking on the leash and don’t start pulling heavily. I’m very petite (5‘1). Despite regular workouts I don’t think I could go up against these dogs. lol I work from home and currently taking a break from traveling, so I’m also available during the weekend. Mondays and Fridays are very flexible, so that I can go on walks with your pups. I live in an apartment, so I can only take care of smaller dogs. So far they have all enjoyed it. Most of them like to look out of my floor to ceiling windows. :)

“Nichole was awesome. She sent me a video and pictures of our boy while she had him. She was super calm and our little guy fit right in with her pup. I would highly recommend her.”

“Silvia is everything I was looking for in a pet sitter: kind, communicative, and responsive to my needs! Plus, she has lots of fantastic experience with dogs, so I knew my pup was in good hands!”

About: For the past five years, I have owned a gentle giant named Bear — 50% Saint Bernard, 50% Mastiff, and 100% angel. I’m very eager to help others take care of their own pups and can’t wait to meet them! I currently work from home multiple days per week, which will allow me to provide lots of care and specialized attention for your dog while you are away. My goal is to provide a safe and loving family environment that local dog owners in my community can trust when they are in need. Our home offers plenty of great amenities for your pup too, including a fenced-in yard and a spacious patio. Hello, my name is Nick, and my family and I can't wait to have your dog in our home as an honorary member! I have a fenced backyard and a friendly, gentle dog named Bear to keep your dog company. In addition to letting the dogs out regularly in the yard, I will take them on frequent walks in our neighborhood—characterized by quiet, tree-lines streets with plenty of parks and grassy patches.

Emily K.
“Over the past 7 years I've known Emily, her loyalty, consistency, and reliability has never waivered. She handles all tasks, small or large, with care and diligence. Whiskey, her family's beloved dog, is one of the greatest joys in her life. Every time I'm over at their house, she puts the needs of her dog first: walking up early to feed and walk him, endless cuddles, and lots of play time. Her dedication to her dog is the same dedication I see in our friendship. I know she will be an incredible caregiver to your own pets!”

Elvis V.
“Elvis did an incredible job pet sitting my cat, Bunny. Bunny is a highly energetic and food-obsessed boy who needs a lot of attention, stimulation, and structure to stay happy—and Elvis completely delivered. He spent tons of time playing with Bunny, keeping him engaged with toys and games, and making sure he never got bored or too fixated on food. Elvis was also incredibly loving and patient, treating Bunny like he was his own pet. Throughout my time away, Elvis sent frequent updates with photos and little notes, which really helped put me at ease and made me feel connected to Bunny even from afar. I came home to a calm, content, and clearly well-cared-for cat. It’s not easy to find someone you can trust with your pet, especially one with such a big personality, but Elvis was amazing. I’m so grateful for the care he provided and would absolutely ask him to watch Bunny again in the future!”

Ethan C.Star Sitter
“Ethan has looked after our bulldog Buddy many times. He is extremely reliable and very flexible with his time. Ethan loves to walk as his favorite hobby so Rover matches perfectly with his lifestyle. We really needed a sitter that would not only feed and walk Buddy but to live in our home while we were away to make sure Buddy had a lot of attention. We needed a live in replacement for us and Ethan did just that! Lots of photos and video updates were sent to us. We couldn’t be happier.”

She always makes sure to prioritize playtime and cuddles with dogs, as well as keep them to their requested schedule. Mai is very fitness oriented and strong, and I am certain that she would make sure that your dog does this business, gets some fresh air, and is well taken care of in your absence.”

Nick is additionally a dependable and responsible person, who can be relied on to provide excellent pet care.”
