About: Hi, I’m Alexa! I am a 22 year old lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of hands on experience caring for dogs. Growing up, I was surrounded by animals and helped care for muiltiple Vizslas as well as a Great Dane, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have a miniature dachshund who is truly my world, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. From energetic puppies to giant breeds, I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and providing loving care to dogs. About: Warning ⚠️! Your furry companion will be worn out with fun activities in my large fenced in backyard, with additional happy walks and hikes. When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. At no time will the children be left with your pet alone. When my husband is in town, he arrives home around 5:45 every evening and is a big dog lover. He misses having a dog but travels too much for the military.

About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.
