Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have a two-year-old Doberman of my own, so I understand the care, patience, and attention they need. Friends and family have always trusted me to watch their dogs, whether it's for a day, a weekend, or longer. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, with a hybrid schedule that gives me extra flexibility for pet care. I work from home on Mondays, Fridays, and every other Thursday, which allows me to provide potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. On the days I'm in the office, I'm available after 5:00 PM for evening visits, and walks. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate weekend getaways, vacations, or last-minute bookings. I do my best to be reliable, communicative, and flexible so pets can stay on their normal routine while their owners are away. Caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I have a friendly 2-year-old Doberman who keeps me active, so I understand the importance of regular exercise, routine, and plenty of attention. We go on daily walks and runs, and one of our favorite stops is Paris Baguette, where the staff always loves seeing him and he gets a pup cup. About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.

About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. I have helped my friends and family for years take care of pets while they are out of town. About: Dog and cat mom here: I have had dogs and cats all my life, including raising puppies, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my friend group. I also foster my dogs when I am available. I work at a restaurant so I work short shifts, make my own schedule and have lots of availability. I'm open to all services: visits, walks, overnights (your home or mine). I don't have children but I consider my pets my babies. My dog Oliver (pictured) goes with me everywhere he can, he's spoiled because he's a good boy. My 2 cats come and go as they please but love attention and treats too. I can accommodate any request because I think it is important to treat all pets like your own. I work short shifts, days and nights, with lots of available time. I will treat your pet like my own: my dog gets daily walks, treats, playtime and cuddles of course. I will respect your home as your space and accommodate your pet needs. In my home, I have a privacy fence fully covering my backyard and I live alone in a home I own on a quiet dead end street. My pets have safe spaces in my home and I allow them on my furniture lol

About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. Now that I'm in the Cincinnati area I want to find a way to help animals again so I joined Rover! I currently work as a contractor for a delivery company so I choose my own hours, this way I have time to fit in the furry friends. I can come any time, day or night! When caring for pets in someones home I always make sure to have a list of things the pet parents want to make sure is done. I also make sure all cabinets and doors are secure before leaving a room, this way pets can't get into anything they shouldn't. When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. “Matthew was amazing. I’ve only had Oakley for two weeks and am still getting to know his habits, on top of the fact that he is already 85 lbs, but none of that bothered Matthew. He sent daily pictures and confirmed that all was going well. He is very relaxed and Oakley got along very well with his three dogs. Matthew has a very large backyard and a 100’ lead that was great for Oakley since he loves to just lay outside. I highly recommend Matthew and will be using him again.”
