“Emilio was wonderful, we are so thankful for all of his help. He was a great communicator when updates happen. I loved the Rover card updates, and amazing pictures that Emilio took, during each visit. Odie the dachshund was so very happy in all of the pictures and was spoiled by Emilio! Odie, and his siblings the sleepy cat, turtles, tortoises and fish all loved Emilio visiting them!”

About: Experienced and compassionate, I am a dedicated animal sitter with a passion for providing exceptional care for pets. What sets me apart from other sitters is my specialized skill set, including training puppies and expertise in senior pet care. I excel in establishing a strong foundation for good behavior through puppy training techniques and providing gentle and attentive care for senior animals, managing medications and addressing mobility issues. With a personalized approach, I tailor care routines to meet the unique needs of each animal, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Additionally, I am skilled in understanding and interpreting animal behavior, enabling effective communication and building trust. With training in pet first aid and CPR, I am prepared to handle emergencies and prioritize the safety of all animals under my care. I still have school, so it honestly just depends on after 4. After 4 I’m free for the rest if the day, and i need something to do with the rest of my time, and given i have not much better to do i’d prefer to take care and watch over animals! When caring for pets, whether in my own home or at a client's residence, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for them. In my home, I provide a designated space where pets can relax and feel at ease. I ensure that this area is clean, secure, and equipped with the necessary essentials such as bedding, toys, and food/water bowls. Additionally, I maintain a regular feeding schedule to meet their dietary needs. Exercise and playtime are also integral parts of my care routine, as I engage pets in stimulating activities tailored to their energy levels and preferences. If caring for pets in a client's home, I ensure to follow any specific instructions provided, replicating their familiar environment as closely as possible. I make it a point to provide ample affection, attention, and companionship to keep pets happy and emotionally fulfilled during my care sessions. Overall, my approach to pet care revolves around providing a nurturing and loving environment that meets the individual needs of each furry friend.

About: Hi there! I’m Heather, and I’m a cat lady. My cats have allowed me to join this app. They are used to me coming home smelling like other animals. GASP! I used to be extremely anxious when I would have to leave my cats overnight, when I traveled for work or was going on vacation. Then a few people recommended the Rover app to me, and I found an amazing cat sitter. I still miss my feline overlords when I am away now, but I don’t worry as much about how they are doing or what they are getting in to. I want to do the same for you. Go on your trip knowing that your best fur friends are in good hands! I have always had cats in my life, and I can’t imagine how dull my life would be without them. I am always looking to make new fur friends, so I would love to meet your pets. I currently have 3 cats of my own, but occasionally have more. They just seem to find me, and I never turn away an animal in need. I have also done some pet rescue work and help to maintain two feral cat colonies near my home. Have cats with medical needs? No problem! I am a registered nurse (for humans), and adopt cats who have been abandoned or surrendered because of medical issues. I believe every soul deserves love and to feel safe, despite what their medical issues might be. I have had cats with diabetes who needed insulin, kidney disease and needed sub-q IV fluids, kitty dementia, deafness, IBD, mega colon, FIV, hemophilia, and the worst of all…major catitude! I am comfortable giving medications, insulin, and whatever else your furry friend might need. I am also not afraid of “mean” kitties or “hissy” kitties. I just meet them where they are, and do my best to convince them that I just want to be friends. I am also comfortable administering medications/treatments to dogs, I just have more experience with cats. I work nightshift and have a different schedule every week, but I would (and have) go without sleep to make sure all the kitties in my care get what they need and have fun while their parents are away. I do have my own car and of course would take your cat to their veterinarian if the need ever arises.

About: Pets of all kinds have been an integral part of my whole life. I enjoy taking care of them and the joy that return to me! Outside of pet care I’m a freelancer so my schedule is fluid but available! I can be available times many other sitters/walkers are not available! Caring for different pets requires lots of intuition and skill. Understanding a pet and gaining their trust is very important to me, just as important as gaining the trust of their owner. It is something I pride myself on.

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cat, having one pup of my own and sharing a household with multiple animals. I offer more than just pet sitting. I’ve always loved being the one my animals count on, and that same care, instinct, and attention is what I bring to every pet I meet. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m available for morning visits Sunday through Thursday before 2:30 PM, and I’m completely free all day Friday and Saturday. Since I already care for my own pets daily, adding walks or drop-ins into my mornings and days off feels natural. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, their safety and comfort come first. I follow any routines or instructions closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and give them the same calm, respectful care I give my own pets.

About: I am available to look after your are pets whether young or elderly, big or small. I live in a perfectly sized house with a fenced in garden. I am home 3 days a week and otherwise in the office. I am great with long weekends away to care for your pup. I have a small low energy dog at home and she is happy to meet guest dogs. I don't board masses of dogs either, I believe in focusing on just one guest pup at a time. I am happy to walk, play, socialize and even teach and train your pup. I love being with dogs and have been sitting for over 10 years caring for all types of animals, some with medical needs. I think it's important to build a relationship with the animal whenever possible. I am good at listening and understanding my clients' needs and value strong customer service and communication. I look forward to connecting with you about your fur babies. I mostly work from home and can give potty breaks every 4 to 6 hours. I am in the office a couple days a week. I only board one family at a time. I have a small dog who mostly stays upstairs. Your pet will have the down stairs and easy access to the fenced in yard.

About: I grew up with a large yellow lab and now care for my maltipoo who I have had since he was a small puppy. Dogs are my favorite animals. Since I work remotely, I’m frequently home and live with my own dog. I also tend to be in a 5 mile radius of my home. I will be sure to leave everything as I found it if doing a drop in visit or walking service. Your dog will get the attention and care he or she needs every time.

About: I've been taking care of many different types of animals ever since I can remember. Some of the types of animals that I have experience taking care of are dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and hermit crabs. I trained two large golden doodles when I was around 8-9 years old, and neighbors and friends often relied on me to walk, bathe, and feed their pets. I currently have an orange tabby named Auggie, a Blue Tongued Skink named Rogu, and a leopard gecko named Reggie. Although I do not have one at the moment, I am particularly experienced in caring for dogs of all temperaments and sizes. I have open availability and can work around your schedule for arranging walks. I can accommodate your needs, whether it’s during the week or on weekends. I also drive which makes it easy for me to get to you! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to feel secure about the person who is caring for your pets as they are like children to us. I always follow instructions meticulously and ensure that your pet feels safe and can trust the person that is taking care of them. To make sure you never miss out on a moment with them, I provide frequent updates and pictures! I am always reachable if your pet is in my care.

“My German Shepherds loved Melissa! She is communicative and dependable. I could tell my girls were well taken care of. She walked them and fed them. One of them has to take medicine in her food and Melissa carefully followed instructions left to keep her healthy. 100% recommend.”

About: Hello! We have a huge fenced-in yard for dogs to run around and get their energy out (and for frequent potty breaks). Medium to large dogs that are good with kids are optimal! I’m a nurse practitioner working mostly from home. No pets currently. Since we don't currently have any pets, we can give our full attention to your pet, warning: they may be spoiled!! I work part time and have flexibility with my schedule. I have a large fenced-in yard for playing and am happy to crate the dog if he/she is more comfortable with that overnight. Cats have free reign and can be kept inside if they are the escapable type.

“Mike was great! I reached out to him with less than 48 hours notice, he agreed to come over for a meet and greet and provided exceptional service to AJ. He’ll be my go-to for al future dog sitting needs.”

About: Growing up I had experience owning and caring for dogs and cats. I always fed, walked and played with my past dogs to build a friendly connection and gain their trust. Everytime I encounter stray cats, I usually feed them to show I’m no threat and try to give them affection. I currently work 2pm - 10pm Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday 11am-7:30pm but I’m free Mondays and Tuesdays. I’m always willing to walk dogs in the mornings before I go to work and anytime on my off days. I will always keep a separate space for pets if other pets were around who do not get along with pets. Pets safety and well being is my top priority.

“My dog is skittish around new people but he loved Mary! He can be a bit rowdy at times but I think Mary can handle him. She's very patient and obviously loves pets. Definitely recommend.”

Heidi H.

“Heidi has always been an animal lover. My girlfriend Jaclyn was actually with Heidi and her husband Chris when they traveled from shelter to shelter, until they were finally lovestruck by a very scrawny Dito (who is now as healthy as a horse!). Heidi and Chris are ideal dog owners. They take Dito everywhere (he's a total love) and they make sure he is sufficiently exercised. They have belonged to private dog parks -- and now, they have their very own yard in West Philly! Heidi and Chris also made Dito's food from scratch for a time (DIY-ers, through and through!). Dito knows an array of commands and tricks, and he is a happy, balanced dog. Your dog would be in extremely good hands with Heidi and Chris! They are nurturing, with boundless energy and a true commitment to living joyfully. Jaclyn and I would trust them with our dog any day!”

“Michael is a very kind, responsible, caring person who loves pets. He has a great personality and is very professional. Michael has gone above and beyond sitting with my babies. They loved him! Michael has taken care of them when they were sick, vet appointments, given medication, all the above. He helped raise some and also assist with the end stages of life. Michael has always treated my babies as his own. Michael definitely is a winner and you can totally trust that your babies will be in great hands.”
