Some want attention and company, and some just want a respectful visitor who handles the basics and gives them their space. I’m happy either way. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your animals. I’ll follow your instructions, communicate clearly, send updates, and treat your pets with patience, kindness, and care. I’m a teacher on summer break, so I have more daytime flexibility than I normally do during the school year. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the summer, depending on the day and location. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine as much as I can. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible. I pay attention to the little things: doors, gates, leashes, food, water, litter boxes, favorite spots, and anything else your pet needs to feel comfortable. I know it can feel weird letting someone else into your home and trusting them with your pet, so I take that seriously. I’ll communicate clearly, send updates, make sure things are secure before I leave, and let you know if I notice anything unusual. Whether your pet needs playtime, space, a calm check-in, or a full report on what the squirrels were doing outside, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and remembered while you’re away.

About: I worked at the Philly Zoo when I was 14 so caring for animals has been my interest and passion for a long time. I am also a cat mom of 3 beautiful black cats - two of them kittens- so I know what it takes to take good care of animals! I offer patience, tenderness, and love for every furbaby. I am very attentive to needs and will be communicative along the way! I am a full time director at an after school program so my mornings are free until 9:30a and evenings after 6pm during the work week. Otherwise, on the weekends I am very available! At the moment I will not be housing pets as I have an 11 year old cat and now two kittens (!); but I am happy to meet you where you are and come for drop ins when needed!
