“I was skeptical to use Rover, but I had to make last-minute travel plans and my regular pet sitter was unavailable so I decided to give it a try. I was also afraid that nobody was going to want to take care of my eight dogs (mostly senior and special needs) and one cat. I contacted Amber and described all of my pets and their special needs, and she was up for the challenge. She even shared pictures and stories of her own babies to make me feel more at ease. Leaving six dogs over the age of 12, two special needs Frenchies (one deaf and one paralyzed), and one 17-year-old cat in the care of a stranger was very difficult for me to do. Upon meeting Amber, however, I was quickly put at ease. My animals immediately took to her and I could tell she was a kind, calm, gentle soul, which made leaving them easier. Amber handled all of my babies with extreme care and even read and followed my many, many pages of instructions. When she had questions, she texted or called me just like I asked. She took on the challenge of my paralyzed Frenchie like a pro - and it's not an easy job. She had to express her bladder every several hours, change her diaper, give her baths, carry her around, and give her lots of snuggles! She administered medications to my animals and gave them the various types of different food they eat. I came home to a happy, healthy crew of animals - and a new friend! I'm so happy I chose Amber and that she "chose" us. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!”

I currently offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. At this time, I’m unable to provide care in my own home, which means all of my attention is focused on maintaining your pet’s normal environment and routine where they feel most comfortable. When I’m in your home, I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walk routines to medications and any specific preferences your pet may have. I’m very mindful of safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring behavior, and ensuring your pet is always in a safe, controlled environment. Your baby will spend majority of their time out of their crate. However I do crate at night time and when I have to run errands. I treat your baby as you would. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. From a very young age I knew what I wanted to do in life. I will love and care for your babies as I would if it were mines! I’m currently working part time and will be available on weekdays after 2:30 PM and weekends all-day. I’m also flexible so please notify me if you need me on weekdays before 2:30PM before booking! I have an unfenced backyard (temporarily) but will be there with your pets at all times! I also have a fur baby (super friendly/small) I watch time to time for my mom but can easily put her in crate in case your pet doesn’t get along with other pets.
