“I was skeptical to use Rover, but I had to make last-minute travel plans and my regular pet sitter was unavailable so I decided to give it a try. I was also afraid that nobody was going to want to take care of my eight dogs (mostly senior and special needs) and one cat. I contacted Amber and described all of my pets and their special needs, and she was up for the challenge. She even shared pictures and stories of her own babies to make me feel more at ease. Leaving six dogs over the age of 12, two special needs Frenchies (one deaf and one paralyzed), and one 17-year-old cat in the care of a stranger was very difficult for me to do. Upon meeting Amber, however, I was quickly put at ease. My animals immediately took to her and I could tell she was a kind, calm, gentle soul, which made leaving them easier. Amber handled all of my babies with extreme care and even read and followed my many, many pages of instructions. When she had questions, she texted or called me just like I asked. She took on the challenge of my paralyzed Frenchie like a pro - and it's not an easy job. She had to express her bladder every several hours, change her diaper, give her baths, carry her around, and give her lots of snuggles! She administered medications to my animals and gave them the various types of different food they eat. I came home to a happy, healthy crew of animals - and a new friend! I'm so happy I chose Amber and that she "chose" us. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!”

Since she's a rescue and a bit rambunctious, I was a little nervous, but after doing a meet and greet with Morgan I felt comfortable. Everything went off without a hitch. I had to be gone for four days to visit a very sick friend going through a bone marrow transplant and it was such a blessing to know my dogs were in such trusting, professional, and capable hands. Shannon S is an absolutely incredible dog sitter! coming into my home and blindly trusting since I have ptsd. But when my partner suggested using Rover instead of a kennel I searched for the person my soul felt would be the most motherly, kind, patient and tough! I am always a little nervous about new people However Shannon agreed to meet with me a day before my partner and I had to leave! Even with her busy schedule, she still made it work! it rained extremely hard while we were gone and there was not one drop of mud anywhere in the house or on the dogs! They were both still spotless! Shannon never complained about the weather. She only reassured us that we picked a right time to go on our trip and that she was holding the fort down!! My partner and I have two 90+ lb dogs who love to play and are needy when it comes to love! We like our dogs to eat at a specific time and to sit on command and Shannon sent us a photo when it was time to feed and it made us feel very comfortable and relaxed! We were kinda last minute for her and she replied right away and since I mentioned that I have two bigs dogs I needed a strong person and seeing the type of dogs Shannon watches on her profile I saw no reason why she wasn’t the sitter for us! I will definitely continue scheduling Shannon s for my babies! My big labsky is a regular flight risk and it makes me nervous as a parent and when he tried to jump my fence she was right on top of it! I am so thrilled with her athletic ability 😝😅 that made me so happy to hear and I am so exited for her to take them to the dog parks and continue watching them because I can tell how content and happy our babies (dogs) are!!! Essence was amazing! We have a fairly difficult dog that struggles with anxiety and that manifests itself in what most would consider to be aggressive behavior. She was amazing at earning his trust and becoming a trusted person in his life. After only a couple of hours he was comfortable with her presence in our home. I cannot stress enough how rare that is for our dog! On the other side of things, she was in constant communication with us and sent many pictures and updates each day. She is clearly passionate about animals and I would recommend her services to anyone and everyone. 10/10 will book again!
