About: With over 14 years of hands-on experience, I provide calm, patient, and highly attentive care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m naturally observant and tuned into behavior and energy levels, so your pet isn’t just watched—they’re genuinely understood, loved, and cared for. I’m also very active and love bringing that into my pet care. I enjoy running, long walks, and spending time outdoors, and I especially love being active with pets. High-energy dogs get real exercise and engagement—not just a quick walk—and I’m more than happy to match their pace (I can usually tire out even the most energetic pets in a positive, healthy way). At the same time, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs structure and activity or a calm, reassuring presence, I adjust my care to meet them where they are—especially for pets who may be anxious or need extra attention. I’m very present, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for—so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. When your pet is in my care, they’ll receive consistent, attentive care that fits naturally into my daily routine—because I intentionally make pet care a priority. I work full-time Monday–Friday from 9–5, but I structure my schedule to ensure your pet’s needs are fully met before and after work. Mornings include feeding, walks, and quality time to start the day off right. After work, I dedicate my time to longer walks, exercise, play, and engagement so your pet gets the attention and activity they need. For high-energy pets, I incorporate active time like long walks or outdoor exercise to make sure they’re not just “checked on,” but genuinely stimulated and cared for. For pets that prefer a calmer pace, I provide a relaxed, comforting environment with plenty of attention and reassurance. On weekends, my schedule is much more flexible, allowing for extended time, outings, and a more customized routine based on your pet’s needs. You can expect consistent communication, updates, and photos throughout the stay. I’m reliable, structured, and committed to following your pet’s routine as closely as possible—so they feel comfortable, and you feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities—especially when caring for them in your home. I understand that inviting someone into your space requires a high level of trust, and I treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect and care. I currently offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. At this time, I’m unable to provide care in my own home, which means all of my attention is focused on maintaining your pet’s normal environment and routine where they feel most comfortable. When I’m in your home, I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walk routines to medications and any specific preferences your pet may have. I’m very mindful of safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring behavior, and ensuring your pet is always in a safe, controlled environment. I also prioritize keeping your home clean, organized, and exactly as you left it. You can expect regular updates, clear communication, and someone who is both dependable and respectful of your space. My goal is to create a stress-free experience—for both you and your pet—by providing consistent, trustworthy care in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Our animals were so well taken care of and they were happy when we got home. She spent the night here but there was no trace of her being here at all. She has been very flexible with the dates because of a death in our family. I will definitely use her again. Thank you Ashley!!

About: I’ve had dogs practically my whole life, I love animals and training them. Their safety is my top priority and second priority is their attention. Giving them extra love when you’re away I have a part-time job, so I have a lot of free time during the week, I’m very active and I want to make animals apart of my life. It’s my passion I have a fenced backyard and if a crate is provided I will use it. I don’t plan on boarding dogs soon because I’m not allowed pets where I live

Do yourself a favor now and book Jessica to take care of your pets! She is super sweet and kind and my dogs and cats all loved her immediately. It’s obvious that she is an animal person, and she treated my babies like her own. I got lots of pictures while I was out of town, and I came home to a super clean house and happy pets! She also gave me a detailed summary at the end of her stay and kept me updated on any issues. We love Jessica and will definitely be working with her again!! ☺️

She was so wonderful and great, especially dealing with our little rescue puppy who is not always the most friendly. The dogs were all happy and i received lots of photos of them all napping away…. if they were all napping then they were relaxed calm and good with her presence. She is super responsive and I will use her again.

About: I’ve taken care of an array of dogs since I was a child. Calm, engaged, and fun dog mom. Teacher full time needing a summer gig. I currently work full time as a middle school teacher. I want something to fill my time over the summer. What better way to do it than with animals? My current dog care happens in the morning and afternoon/evening. I currently have open availability aside from a few pre-planned activities. I have a large unfenced yard. I have an older spayed female chipoo that is friendly with other dogs. She is on a set routine which includes going outside multiple times a day, meals twice a day, play time, plus more. I regularly clean the bottom, paws, face, etc. to ensure things are always fresh and clean.

About: Hello everyone, my name is Alexandria and I love all animals, particularly dogs. I have grown up with dogs and cats practically my entire life, raising most of them since they were puppies. I currently have two dogs of my own — Pepper, my 10-year-old Dachshund mix, and Carson, my 8-year-old French Bulldog. Both of my dogs are on the smaller side, so my preference is to watch smaller dogs, as they tend to be the best fit for our home dynamic. I joined Rover to earn additional income, as well as to provide a companion for my dogs to hang out and socialize with. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can give your fur baby plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I am looking forward to meeting your little fur baby and providing them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. Because my hours are not rigid, I am able to adapt to just about any routine — whether your dog needs early morning walks, midday check-ins, or a specific feeding schedule, I can make it work. Whatever your dog’s routine looks like at home, just let me know and I will do my best to match it as closely as possible. And if for any reason I am unable to accommodate something specific, I will always be upfront and let you know before booking so there are no surprises. Your dog’s comfort and consistency are always my priority. When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, my top priority is making sure your dog feels as comfortable and at ease as possible. I believe in sticking to your dog’s established routine, because familiarity goes a long way in keeping them calm and happy while you’re away. I provide walks in the morning, midday, and in the evening to make sure your pup stays active and gets plenty of fresh air. Feeding is always done according to your dog’s schedule and dietary instructions — I will follow whatever routine you have at home so there are no disruptions to what your dog is used to. I also take the time to understand the individual needs of each dog in my care. Every dog is different, and I want to make sure I’m attentive to their personality, comfort level, and any special requirements they may have. My goal is simply to do my very best to provide a safe, loving, and consistent experience for your fur baby until you return.

About: I have two years of experience working at Skiptown, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, and supervising playtime to make sure each dog stayed happy, healthy, and safe. I also gained experience understanding different dog personalities and creating a fun, comfortable environment for them. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel loved and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine since I’m available on weekends. I love spending that time giving dogs attention, playtime, and loving care. When caring for pets, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their normal routines for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks to keep them relaxed. I provide a clean and secure space, give plenty of supervision, and never leave pets unattended. I treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they’re happy, calm, and well cared for the entire time they’re with me.

Savannah is an absolute gem! She recently took care of our 3 pups and our home while we spent a week at the beach, and she went above and beyond! She made sure we were updated on how the pups were doing and actively looked for ways to help us around our home to make our return so much easier. Our pups were so happy when we came home, we could tell they received so much TLC. Highly recommend!

About: I have taken care of animals for over 20 years for family and friends. My experience has been with Dogs. Additionally, I have a canine handler certification through Iron Dog K9 International. My current work schedule is mobile and remote, it permits me the availability to house and animal sit for your pets during the week and weekends. I care for pets in the comfort of their familiar environment, which helps reduce anxiety, especially for older or sensitive animals. I follow all instructions provided — feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes or cages, administering medications, etc. I also handle small household tasks if requested, like bringing in mail or watering plants. Daily updates, including photos and notes on how your pet is doing, are always included. Respecting your space and your pet’s routine is my top priority.

FAQs for House Sitting - Conyers

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Conyers on Rover is $55.1 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 3,717 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Conyers. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Conyers walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Conyers maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Conyers choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Conyers. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
