“Khaleigh was great! We always feel nervous leaving our pets and she helped us feel relaxed and comfortable with them in her care. She was able to follow our instructions for 6 pets (3 cats and 3 dogs) including medication administration, senior dog care, and mobility assistance. She communicated with us and we felt they were very safe and cared for.”

“Morgan was fantastic. This was the first time we left new dog with a sitter. Since she's a rescue and a bit rambunctious, I was a little nervous, but after doing a meet and greet with Morgan I felt comfortable. Everything went off without a hitch. Morgan was GREAT about keeping in touch and sending phots and videos, and made sure Mattie and Tess got lots of snuggles and care. She was super conscientious about reading and following instructions. Will definitely book again for our next trip. Thanks, Morgan!”

“Ashley was fantastic—super communicative, sent tons of great pics, and our pets instantly felt comfortable around her (even our shy cat came out right away). The dog got plenty of walks, play time, and snuggles. She kept us updated, brought in our trash bins without being asked (thanks!), and somehow left the place looking better than we did. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely caring. Highly recommend.”

“I am so glad Danielle came to my home during Thanksgiving to care for my 2 little dogs and my home. When they met her both dogs loved her. I never worried and rightly so… when I came home there was 2 happy/healthy dogs and my home was well cared for. I will use Danielle again. I know I can trust her, This was obvious each day and when I came home. Thx for your help Danielle.”

“Jill was amazing! She took such great care of our home and our doodle, Gumbo. He absolutely loved her! She kept us updated with photos and messages, and we could tell he was happy and well cared for. We came home to a clean house and a very content pup. Highly recommend Jill — we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Amazing first experience with the app Elijah took such great care of my baby and kept me updated with pictures and messages the entire time, — I would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets!”

“This is the 2md time I’ve used Rover for dog sitting services and I must say hands down Dominique was the best. I don’t even know where to start. From the beginning to the end she was great . She has the sweetest spirit and my dogs loved her from day one. I will definitely be using her services again. Thank you Dominique for such a pleasant and seem less experience.”

About: I don't just sit; I connect with each dog's unique needs. I'm great with puppies, using fun training to build good habits. Senior dogs get extra TLC with gentle care and meds, if needed. I spot health issues early and create a safe, happy space for all dogs, young or old! Pet care is a big part of my day, every day! I plan my schedule around walks, playtime, and feeding times. I send updates to owners with cute pics and videos. Evenings are for cozy rest, so pets feel safe and happy all the time. It's a fun and natural part of my life. In my home i make sure it’s safe and comfy with play and rest areas. Lots of walks, playtime, and attention for each pet. Owners get updates and pics! As for the clients home I stick to their routine and keep things secure. Lots of love, playtime, and updates for the owners.
“Carson was the absolute best! He had great communication and sent me pictures of my pets every day! He was more than willing to administer meds to my pups and help them stay calm during the 4th of July weekend! He put my mind at ease and I knew I could trust him with my home and my fur babies! 10/10 would recommend!”

“Jessica and Kristen were great! Took excellent care of our house and pup. Super communicative, we got updates and cute pics every day we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Joanna was great with our dog. Our dog is not friendly and barks at everyone, in no time Joanna was patting him and they were like best friends. We will definitely have her watch our dog again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 9-10 years of age and I’ve always had a soft spot for all furry friends ! Being a dog sitter/walker comes super natural to me, with my love for them . I’ve always enjoyed playing with them , walking & running around with them, and giving them belly rubs ! I am a recent college graduate with work experience at a dog daycare and boarding/grooming facility . I also have my own 2 babies (A staffy and Cane Corso) and my favorite part about being a dog mom is our training and bonding sessions , filled with patience and love ! I am a full time worker with availability after 4pm . I am OPEN AVAILABILITY on weekends and MOST holidays ! If you’re flexible with times (if needed) that would be amazing <3 I am very respectful and mindful of others’ homes and will ensure that your fur babies environment is as safe and trust worthy as possible !
“I can’t say enough about how great Dana was with my fur baby, Milan! She made Milan feel comfortable and loved. She communicated often about how things were going and made sure both I and Milan were comfortable. I’m very pleased with my first Rover experience here in a new city!”

About: I’ve always believed pets aren’t just animals, they’re family. Whether it’s a high energy pup who needs long walks and playtime, or a more relaxed companion who just wants cuddles and consistency, I adjust my care to fit their needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Having a blind furry friend myself for 15 years, I understand the importance of caring for them from birth, into their old age, adjusting to transformation that they may experience, and the beauty and fulfillment that comes with it. I am currently an independent worker, so my schedule tends to be quite flexible on a week-to-week basis, to be able to care for furry friends. I am one to pay close attention to fur babies, making sure they are safe, tending to their needs whether it be playtime, some time outside, and any other needs that may need be.
“Rammiyah was great with my Great Dane Journey, who has severe separation issues. When we got back Journey was calm and no signs of stress or anxiety. I can't thank Rammiyah enough for taking such great care of my baby!”

“Ashley was excellent! First time leaving our pets with someone else, it was a big deal. Luckily Ashley was able to watch our pets and our home, so they were more comfortable. She even took care of our son's beta fish Taco. Our dogs loved her and we will be using her again, as well as recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’m a daycare teacher and babysitter who absolutely loves caring for both kids and pets! I’ve dog sat twice so far, and it’s quickly become something I really enjoy. I love being around different pets—their personalities are so fun, and I’m always learning something new from each one. I’m very patient, loving, and attentive, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’d love to keep growing in pet care and make this a regular part of what I do! I work full-time as a daycare teacher Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, but I’m still able to balance pet care reliably. When house sitting, I stay in the client’s home to ensure consistent care. I take care of pets in the mornings before work, check in during breaks when needed, and give them full attention once I’m off. I make sure they are fed, walked, and comfortable throughout the day, and I always prioritize their safety and well-being while maintaining a structured routine. On weekends I’m 100% available! I don’t have pets of my own yet! But When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get regular potty breaks and walks. I also spend time playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they feel calm and not lonely. I keep the home clean by picking up after the pet and following any specific instructions the owner provides. I also check in with updates when needed so the owner feels reassured while they’re away.
“Daniele was wonderful at sitting our pup and cat for the day! We will be using her again to watch the fur-kids another time! She is extremely accommodating, provides updates throughout the day, and is extremely kind!”
“Usually when I have to board my pets, I come back and they are sullen and wont ea. This time, they were happy, and resumed normal behavior as if I hadn’t left them. Thank you for making them feel better. I would like to continue using this gentleman when I have to travel.”

Rockbridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
I just wanted to saw we are new to the area and we were looking for a reliable, safe person to care for our pets. We were able to connect with Morgan and she took care of all 4 of our babies and made sure to give us constant updates. Our torte who isn’t the most friendly of cats, ended up laying on Morgan’s lap and spending a lot of time with her :) We had an emergency at the end of our vacation and Morgan was willing to stay extra to look after our pets to help us out. We will be using her from here on out whenever we need help with our babies. She has a real talent for this kind of work!!!

Sara was just plain amazing. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating for our situation and changing schedule. Our boy Beau just loved her and we felt so sure he was in good hands. It gave us such peace of mind having to leave him for a few days knowing he was in such great hands. Thank you Sara! 100/10 would book her again!
