About: Hello, I’m Lisa! I grew up with a beloved family dog for 14 years and have since cared for pets for three families on and off, both dogs and cats. I truly enjoy every part of pet care - walking, feeding, playing, light grooming, and of course tons of love and attention! I’ve participated in Race for the Rescues and volunteering, and I look forward to meeting furry friends in the area. I love snuggling with pets and following pet's leads, and I am hugely passionate about animals! Safety is first and families describe me as reliable, trustworthy, fun, and detail-oriented. I understand that pets are sensitive, incredibly special creatures and they deserve to be treated like family. I’m available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Fridays after 6pm. I’d love the opportunity to help give you peace of mind and add joy to your pet's life! : ) I am available on weekends (anytime on Saturday and Sunday) as well as Fridays after 6pm. During weekdays, I am unavailable during the day as I work a traditional 9-5 role. I am an expert at following instructions for each pet's preferences and care. My boys are always happy and relaxed when I come home, so I know he’s spent good time with them. Oh, and this time he had to be responsible for our butterfly hatching, a gift my daughter received before our trip 😆 Dudley was very kind to help ensure the butterflies had what they needed and released them for us as well!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cared for them until I moved away to college. I have cared for neighbors dogs when they went on vacation. I am retired now but I usually spend time helping my wife care for my 100 yo mother in law in the late afternoons every other day. But this is flexible. It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to have someone trust me with their pet. It takes years to build trust, but only a second to destroy it. It is so great to see so many responsible pet owners here in Folsom. Let me help you with this when you need it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

Her love of animals was readily apparent when she meet our kitties for the first time. Daily updates and photos were appreciated while we were on vacation, and gave us peace of mind. About: I’ve raised a German Shepherd from a puppy, so I know firsthand the energy, patience, and training that go into caring for pets. I’m active and love getting outside, so whether your dog needs a long walk, a good run, or just some playtime to burn off energy, I’ve got it covered. I’m comfortable handling larger breeds and making sure they get the attention, structure, and care they need. As of now I am on the job hunt, so I’ve got an open schedule with lots of free time. I’m available at all times of day or night. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs, whether it’s in my home or yours. I make sure they stick to their routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. If I’m at your home, I keep things clean, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. For dogs, that means plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and belly rubs. For cats, I let them set the pace—whether they want playtime or just someone to keep them company. No matter the pet, I treat them like they’re my own.

She followed some detailed instructions that I have for an aging kitty and the kitchen was in excellent shape for our return. She responded quickly to any questions I had during the stay. I really appreciate finding Barbara who is close and convenient. Her fees are very reasonable and I will definitely use her again.”
