“It was great to work with Dale again- she’s communicative and quick to respond. In addition to taking care of my cats she helped water a few plants and take out the trash bins as requested l, which was a huge help. Thanks, Dale!”

“This was my second time using Rachel and just like the first time, I felt comfortable with having her in my home and feel like she genuinely cares for my cat - which is a huge relief when you’re out of town during a heat wave and your old man cat needs good care. Rachel is a great communicator and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”

“Rebecca is great! I loved her Rover cards, the pictures and descriptions from her visits made me feel confident my kitty was getting the best attention while I was gone. I also greatly appreciated that Rebecca’s check-in times were consistent so I knew my cat was never left alone too long. Will definitely be booking Rebecca the next time I need a cat sitter! Absolutely recommend her!”

About: Hello, I’m Lisa! I grew up with a beloved family dog for 14 years and have since cared for pets for three families on and off, both dogs and cats. I truly enjoy every part of pet care - walking, feeding, playing, light grooming, and of course tons of love and attention! I’ve participated in Race for the Rescues and volunteering, and I look forward to meeting furry friends in the area. I love snuggling with pets and following pet's leads, and I am hugely passionate about animals! Safety is first and families describe me as reliable, trustworthy, fun, and detail-oriented. I understand that pets are sensitive, incredibly special creatures and they deserve to be treated like family. I’m available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Fridays after 6pm. I’d love the opportunity to help give you peace of mind and add joy to your pet's life! : ) I am available on weekends (anytime on Saturday and Sunday) as well as Fridays after 6pm. During weekdays, I am unavailable during the day as I work a traditional 9-5 role. I am an expert at following instructions for each pet's preferences and care. I am highly sensitive to pets' emotional needs beyond lists and I personalize care around the clock.

“Dudley is the very best cat sitter! He takes gorgeous pics of the kitties, grooms them and tends to all of their needs. My boys are always happy and relaxed when I come home, so I know he’s spent good time with them. Oh, and this time he had to be responsible for our butterfly hatching, a gift my daughter received before our trip 😆 Dudley was very kind to help ensure the butterflies had what they needed and released them for us as well!”

“Sarah came by for a meet and greet and did an excellent job connecting with our special needs dog despite the interference of our two typical (and very jealous) dogs. She didn't hesitate at all to get down onto their level (the floor) and win them all over. Looking forward to having her back for some walks and having her do some dog sitting for us!”

“Ian did a great job looking after my kitties! They have very distinct personalities and I feel like he understood each of them. I really appreciated how he took the time to play with them and gave them attention :)”

About: I grew up with dogs and cared for them until I moved away to college. I have cared for neighbors dogs when they went on vacation. I am retired now but I usually spend time helping my wife care for my 100 yo mother in law in the late afternoons every other day. But this is flexible. It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to have someone trust me with their pet. It takes years to build trust, but only a second to destroy it. It is so great to see so many responsible pet owners here in Folsom. Let me help you with this when you need it.

“Ayla was fabulous. She took great care of our two cats and parrot for 11 days. She sent us photos and video of every visit and she spent a lot of time playing with them. I hope she will be available next time we need a sitter. I would highly recommend Ayla!”

About: I’ve had pet dogs my entire life. I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking since a very young age and I love it. I hope to be able to help others out with their beloved animals. I am open for dog walking as well as drop in visits and over night stays for your cat/dog. I am currently working a part time job and also going to school. I miss my own animals back at home so I want to start helping others out with their own. I can easily care for your dog inside your home or outside in the backyard. I also have an open apartment that is pet friendly

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Candace was an awesome petsitter for our two kitties, Evie & Jaffy! She was very attentive to all the details of their care that I had requested. Her love of animals was readily apparent when she meet our kitties for the first time. Daily updates and photos were appreciated while we were on vacation, and gave us peace of mind. Candace also watched over our home, watering house plants and monitoring a few items with the pool. We were very pleased with all the care Candace provided and we would highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I'm lucky to live with two dogs, a cat, and even a pet rock named Albert! 🐾 I used to work as an Avionics Tech but felt called to follow my true passion: working with animals and offering holistic healing. I'm Reiki I & II certified and can provide calming energy sessions for pets who need a little extra support. I've cared for pets in clients’ homes for multiple days, often helping with light cleanup like dishes or trash. I'm fit, energetic, and love bonding with even the most playful pups. Exploring dog training is my next step, and I’m here to make your pets feel safe, loved, and happy. 💚 Pet care fits perfectly into my daily rhythm. I’m currently studying to become a certified sound healing practitioner and working to grow my holistic healing practice. I’m also becoming Reiki certified, so much of my time is focused on self-study—whether I’m reading, practicing, or working from my laptop. My days usually include the gym, yoga, and outdoor adventures, giving me the flexibility to care for pets with presence and love. Whether it’s a relaxed day in or an energizing trail walk, I’m here to meet their needs and yours. 💚 Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat every animal like family—with patience, respect, and presence. I take time to understand each pet’s routine and personality, letting them guide the pace so they feel safe and at ease. I create a calm, grounded environment and bring a gentle energy, especially helpful for anxious or sensitive pets. In your home, I keep things tidy and respectful, often helping with light tasks like taking out trash or washing dishes if needed. I’m here to offer peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in good hands. 💚

About: I’ve raised a German Shepherd from a puppy, so I know firsthand the energy, patience, and training that go into caring for pets. I’m active and love getting outside, so whether your dog needs a long walk, a good run, or just some playtime to burn off energy, I’ve got it covered. I’m comfortable handling larger breeds and making sure they get the attention, structure, and care they need. As of now I am on the job hunt, so I’ve got an open schedule with lots of free time. I’m available at all times of day or night. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs, whether it’s in my home or yours. I make sure they stick to their routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. If I’m at your home, I keep things clean, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. For dogs, that means plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and belly rubs. For cats, I let them set the pace—whether they want playtime or just someone to keep them company. No matter the pet, I treat them like they’re my own.

“First time using Rover and Barbara did a fine job taking care of my 2 cats. She provided notes and pics (when they were around to photograph). She followed some detailed instructions that I have for an aging kitty and the kitchen was in excellent shape for our return. She responded quickly to any questions I had during the stay. I really appreciate finding Barbara who is close and convenient. Her fees are very reasonable and I will definitely use her again.”
