If the pet owner requires, I return for a midday visit to ensure the pet receives another bathroom break, exercise, and companionship. In the evening, I provide another round of feeding, outdoor time, and play or exercise to tire the pet before bedtime. If the pet requires medication or has special needs, I adhere to the prescribed schedule and provide any necessary care or treatments. I ensure the pet's safety and well-being throughout the day, monitoring their behavior for any signs of distress or discomfort. Caring for pets, whether in my own home or my client's home, involves a set of responsibilities and considerations to ensure their well-being and comfort. In my client's house, I meet with the client and pet beforehand to discuss their expectations, routines, and specific care instructions. I respect the client's home by adhering to their rules and maintaining cleanliness and security. I follow the pet's regular feeding and medication schedule as provided by the client. I engage in activities that match the pet's needs and preferences, ensuring they get enough exercise and mental stimulation. I guarantee the pet's safety by keeping doors and gates secure and ensuring they don't have access to any dangerous substances or items. I maintain open communication with the client, providing updates on the pet's well-being and any concerns that may arise. I have access to emergency contacts and information, including the pet's veterinarian, in case of health issues. When coming over to walk a client's pet, I follow a structured routine to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment during the walk. Before the walk, I confirm I have all necessary equipment, including a leash, waste bags, and any special harness or accessories the pet requires. I also check the weather conditions to dress appropriately and ensure the pet is comfortable. Upon arrival, I greet the pet in a friendly and calm manner to establish trust and rapport. I may offer a treat or use positive reinforcement to excite the pet about the walk. I ensure the pet is properly secured on a leash and harness to prevent escape or accidents. I pay attention to the surroundings, watching for hazards like traffic, other animals, or unsafe objects. I tailor the walk to the pet's age, breed, and energy level. Some dogs prefer a stroll, while others need a more vigorous walk or run. I allow the pet to explore their environment, sniffing and interacting with their surroundings, as this is mentally stimulating and enjoyable for them. If the walk is extended or a hot day, I carry water and a collapsible bowl to ensure the pet stays hydrated. I provide short breaks for the pet to rest, especially if it's a high-energy walk. Upon returning to the client's home, I ensure the pet is comfortable. I may leave a note or message to the client, providing feedback on the walk, including any noteworthy behaviors or observations.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was little. I've sat my neighbors and family dogs for almost two decades. I've been a volunteer at shelters and rescued dogs and cats off the streets. I have experience with senior dogs. I rescued one back in 2018 and she lived with us and was happy until she passed away at 17. There's not enough words to describe how much I love animals ❤️ I currently have a part time job, so I have time to sit or walk dogs or cats. I love animals, so they'll be in the best hands. For sure! I feel my own home it's not so doggy or kitty safe. There are some feral cats around and some neighbors just let their dogs wander outside. So, I'd rather go to my client's home and take care of their furry babies over there.

About: I AM NEW ON ROVER 💫 Since I was a child I grew up with all kinds of pets including dogs, Parrots, and cats. I personally have a 1 year old dog of my own. I could not imagine life without animals. I am a 22 year old part time college student trying to make some extra money, I don’t think there is a better way to do that than helping take care of animals. I am definitely the most skilled in taking care of dogs, but I would love to take care of any animal. I grew up with Bullys and Rottweilers so I am definitely capable of taking care of bigger powerful breeds as well. I work full time Tuesday-Saturday 10-6pm so I am mostly available Saturday night - Monday evening. But that can vary by week and can change at times. I have a large fenced in yard for my pup and he gets lots of exercise everyday. I have dealt with dogs who need medications at certain times of the day as well, so taking care of a dog who needs medicine is also something I can do if needed.

I understand having a stranger in your home might be a little scary and I have plenty of references if you’d like to feel more at ease. I will also send you photos/videos of your baby while you’re gone so you can enjoy your trip. I’m also a professional dog walker with All Four Paws in the West Palm Beach area. I live alone and my work is pretty flexible. I love animals but don’t have any pets currently so I’m able to pet sit easier. I would treat my clients home as my own and respect the privacy and keep it nice and clean. If the pet had an accident and or if the pet needed medication I would disrupt it properly and on time.

About: Simply stated, I am crazy for dogs! I'm a dog lover and experienced dog walker and sitter. I have also trained and shown dogs in AKC Obedience and Agility competitions rings. I love being with dogs, they are fun and make me laugh! I enjoy taking them on walks and love the exercise myself. I try to give them an adventure with a mix of places to explore, such as local parks, playgrounds and beaches (where allowed). I also like teaching them tricks to show-off to their owners. I make a point to learn about each dogs personality and breed particularities to understand them so I can care for them the best way possible, just as if I was I look after my own dog or child. I look forward to a meet & greet with you both! My walks start at 8:00 am to 8;00 pm. I do take special requests for earlier or later visits; there is an added fee to these times. I am able to watch mall dogs under 30 lbs due to HOA restrictions, however the community is very pet-friendly and has beautiful green spaces and boat docks to explore.
