About: My family and I raised my first dog from a puppy. All the dogs (and cats) who followed were rescues. Most were seniors that we cared for till they passed away. I’ve also owned parakeets, and taught them to talk! Our current lifestyle makes it difficult to have pets of our own, and we miss them! If you’re looking for someone to love on your pup, kitty, or bird, I’d love to help out. I’m happy to feed your pets, walk your dogs, or stay with pets in your home while you’re away. As an owner of pets for many years, I enjoy their company; and, many times, pets are drawn to me.

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I’m currently in university and may need to adjust for my classes, but I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 4 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

About: I am need of full time employment and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over ten years now. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them because their love is unconditional. I grew up helping take care of my family's dog for about fourteen years and then helped raise a puppy who is turning ten in October. I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them so I feel like this is going to be the right gig for me. I am very positive and outgoing and love spending time outside. I'm currently unemployed and hoping to pick up as many gigs as I can to get a new routine started as I settled in a new location. I adjust based on the animal's needs. Some dogs I've watched have been incredibly more active and needing of attention than others, as well as cats. It's all about hearing what the owner needs for their pets while they're away to ease any anxiety they have of leaving them.

About: Howdy! My name is Grey, and i want to snuggle your dog! Once upon a time, as an aging single male with no children employed at a plant, a coworker asked me if I would mind watching her dog for a night while she left town. I obliged and from that grew several clients from my workplace, and friends told friends, dogs told dogs, and i was never in my own bed for months watching other peoples' dogs and homes. My reviews are real and recent and if dogs could write as well as they speak, they would echo the same. I'm extremely interactive with your Pooch,but I'M NOTHING SPECIAL. I do specifically what im told regarding pets, household duties, errands AND NOTHING MORE OR LESS unless circumstances absolutely called for it. Excessive dog walks? NO PROBLEM! Plant watering and mail? LEMME DO THAT! Receiving 18 Amazon packages daily that you don't want on your front porch? Perfect, I don't want them on your porch either! My goals for your booking are: 1) Total peace of mind for pet parents upon departure. 2. 100% wagalicious excitement OR cuddlicious tranquility for pet during the trip. 3) A clean and choreless home with happy pets upon arrival. I'm ultra reasonable and can work with people on pricing depending on specific scenarios BUT I am not a miracle worker nor am I a dog whisperer. I throw balls, take long walks, verbally stimulate, feed and water your furbabies. Sometimes, i let them kiss my mouth (once per day, per dog). I take them to parks. I take them on hikes. I DO NOT TRAIN THEM..... SO, if they are destructive with the owner around, they will be 10x as destructive with me around. If they pee in the house, they are going to pee in 10x as much Square footage with me around vs the actual owner. I'm not Cesar Milan....I'm YOU for a week. Please respond with some contact info, interested dates and maybe anything ultra specific needed during your excursion. I'm a solid sitter, but there is only one of me, so let's book soon! Any medical professionals specializing in male pattern baldness, TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE, please:) I do this full time, however, I'm newer to the area and I'm now discovering some of the challenges it provides, mostly that my average commute between jobs and home is over 1 hour. Ideally, i leave your house 1-2 times per day for no more than 4-5 hours. I do this with your dog's daily routine in mind, and am with them at whatever specific times needed for wake up, feedings etc. I use this time to handle other dogs, do my own errands or just a general break from sitting in the same place for 24 hours. These are obviously just guidelines and they can be altered to suit you and puppykins, and whatever is decided between us is adhered to responsibly every time. I love all dogs and 99% of cats and 95% of people. So much love to give.... I have ALWAYS, well before signing up for this app, cleaned client homes before client returns home. While not a professional, my goal is to always leave property in the same condition or better than I found it, mostly successfully. DON'T LET MY DEMOGRAPHIC FOOL YOU!!! I'm tidy and domesticated and I treat people's space and belongings with the highest level of care. I act as if there is a camera on me at work and in my personal life (and there likely is!). Pets are never unattended except for when I use restroom or quick necessity while tending to other matters of the home. Any and all protocols discussed are strictly adhered to. I take this very seriously. I watch a lot of Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown helped raise me. I handle people's homes and pets in accordance with their exacting standards towards pet handlers and caretakers

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. I can care for pets most mornings and evening, and several mid days a week! Every client is different, I understand you have certain rules for your babies and I am more than willing to listen to them! Need your baby to walk for 40 minutes? Let’s get our walk in! About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home,which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

About: I have been around all types of animals and pets my whole life. I don't mind taking care of any type of pet you may have from babys to seniors, cats of all breeds and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m also good with taking care of other domestic pets, exotic pets and farm animals. I only work part time so I have a lot of extra time to care for animals and enjoy being outdoors walking, biking and hiking. I can also just enjoy sitting on the porch with a cat in my lap and a dog at my feet. I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to run and play in. We have a back deck that can be closed off for playtime. Inside we have room for play and crate time if needed. My house is open and available for fur babies to relax, run, play and have pet beds for sunbathing or relaxing.

About: As a pet owner for over 25 years, I know how valuable it is to have a reliable person caring for your animals when you're away. I was recently laid off and would like to have a job working with animals instead of people ( at least for now). I took care of animals and house sat in my twenties and have plenty of experience with dogs and cats. I am currently unemployed, so I'm available anytime. I have the PERFECT set up at home for pets (giant fenced-in yard, access to many hiking trails/dog parks, etc.) More importantly, I am extremely passionate about animals and giving them the love they deserve. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always been called on to dog sit for family & friends. Your pet will be safe, snuggled, and loved in my care! I typically have 3-4 days off in a row, every week. This makes it easy for me to give your pet the attention he/she deserves. My average work day is 6-8 hours, so if pet setting falls on a work day for me, this is the longest stretch of time your pet would be without care. I have no other pets (yet) 😆. So your dog will get my undivided attention! My home offers a large yard, many dog walking opportunities in the area, pet-friendly furniture, and an indoor camera for the kennel or dog room, so you and I can keep an eye on your dog while I’m away at work!

About: I have cared for dogs, and cats, of all kind since I was a child. I have always had them in my life, usually rescued. I was a foster mom for a Pug rescue out of Kansas City for several years, and cared for Pugs of all ages, and from various backgrounds including puppymills. I have a lot of experience with socializing dogs from abusive and neglectful situations, caring for dogs with health issues such as diabetes/blindness, and dogs needing various medications. I have rescued many dogs that have been abandoned, and found loving homes for them through home and vet checks. Caring for dogs and cats is my passion. I am currently a home maker with no children, so my schedule is very flexible. Plus, if your dog is boarded at my home, there would be no need to kennel them since I am usually home all day. If I provided care during the day for a pet in someone's home, I would be happy to follow any and all instructions, and provide at least 2 walks a day. I would also love to send daily updates with pictures so pet parents can see how happy and well cared for their pets are. If the pet is in my care at my home, there would be three walks a day. I am home all day so there would be no need to kennel them unless the owner requests it. I currently have an older Pug mix dog that is playful and good with other dogs.
