Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but since Sadie passed, it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I've done puppy care and senior care as well so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I also go almost daily to the Women's Museum Park to walk my dog (and maybe yours too) where they have access to the river (if you approve, of course). If they don't get along with other dogs there is plenty of separation options as well. I'm also perfectly content to come to you and sit your animals in their home environment. Through the years I've handled all sorts of "animal emergencies" with calm and collected care. I've loved a dog from her puppy days through her geriatric years with unending tenderness and welcome you to entrust your puppy-older dog to my care. Any special needs are no problem. I have administered injected medications. I have given pills successfully and regularly to a Houdini of a dog! If he/she needs it he/she will receive it. I am available evenings, weekends and holidays as well. I often take dogs from multiple households, but you can request no other dogs during your dog's stay. I have a grassy fenced side yard and a half wrap around sunning deck. I do not leave dogs unattended outside, but for the most part they can go in and out all day. I work from home. Occasionally I will need to be away for up to 5hrs at a time, but I will know my schedule when booking. I have a fenced in yard and a 40 lb female terrier mix. She has been dog sitting with me for 7 years now and is adaptable to other dogs' personalities. There is plenty of room for separation if needed as well.

I graduated from Penn Foster Career School's Dog Training Program. I love to help people fulfill their dogs needs! I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I work with dogs full time so I'm able to fulfill their daily needs with ease. We walk every day but also go on adventures to the park and lake. I'm Pet CPR and First Aid Trained. I have a completely fenced yard, but dogs are supervised at all times. I have experience with fearful dog safety. Dogs are crated or tethered while driving. Someone is almost always home with the dogs. I also have a Furbo video camera to monitor dogs if I do need to leave for a short time. ***Due to having 2-3 dogs staying with me at times, I only offer meet & greets, pick up, and drop off from my clients homes or curbside drop off anf pick up at my house in my designated "dog lovers only" parking spot. I find this keeps the excitement and stress level down for all dogs staying. If you want to see the accommodations, I can do a video tour with you. I also post videos and pics to my social media so you can see what your dog is up to during there stay.***

About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I have been told I’m very high energy and fun, and the animals I have looked after always seem to pick up on that great energy and can’t wait to hang out. :) I sell vintage clothing, so being self employed allows me to better accommodate to all the needs of the animals. In our own home, our dog Endo is the King. He gets to enjoy long daily walks amidst the beauty of DuPont forest, swims in the lake behind our house, and nightly fresh cooked meals. My services on house sits include obviously feeding and general care of the animals, as well as promptly following specific dietary regimens and health requirements of every animal. I have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. I have also looked after countless plants and hot tubs, ensuring proper watering and chlorination.

About: My whole life has revolved around my passion and love for animals. From volunteering at my local animal shelter, working at luxury pet resorts to working on a Farm I have had experience with animals of all sizes. In the future I hope to become a certified dog trainer and I am already on my way to it. I am dog and cat CPR certificated. I have years of experience caring for all sizes and age groups of pets. I personally have two dogs that get to go to the park and do training daily. I personally feel like enrichment for animals is one of the most important part of pet care in a day. I strive myself to be able to give all of the animals I take care of mental and physical enrichment daily. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time outside of work to care for my own pets, as well as others pets to my best ability. My main priority for pet care is making sure the pet is safe, happy and healthy. I also want to make sure that pet parents are comfortable with the approaches I use and the incentives given to the animals. I want the pet care I provide to be a happy and mutually beneficial experience for both the animals and the parents.

About: I began working at Radnor Veterinary Hospital as a Boarding Attendant, where I cared for a variety of animals, primarily dogs, and was responsible for feeding, walking, medicating, and monitoring their daily needs. I then worked as a Veterinary Assistant at the Exotic and Small Animal Hospital of PA, where I gained extensive hands-on experience with both small animals and exotic pets. I assisted with appointments, treatments, medications, laboratory work, and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. This experience taught me how to recognize changes in an animal’s behavior and health, safely handle animals, and provide attentive care for pets with different needs. I am currently a pre-veterinary student at Clemson University pursuing my passion for becoming a veterinarian. I especially enjoy caring for rabbits and dogs, but honestly just love being around animals. I have classes regularly; however, in the afternoon and later evenings, I am usually free almost every day! I try to be really flexible; however, school does create some constraints. I make sure to locate the nearest vet in case of an emergency, keep a close eye on your pet during the whole time, and record if I see anything unusual.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
