“Oshie treated Miles like family during his visit! We received pictures of him throughout the day and we knew he was in good hands right from the start! Oshie was a lovely and gracious host all around! When we inevitably visit New Orleans again, we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much!”

“An amazing human not just an amazing dog sitter. This was our first time the pups were dropped off with a sitter and she eased my mind every step of the way. Thank you so much 💕”

“Michael took great care of our puppy Bruno who had his very first experience with a dogsitter. We couldn’t have found a better person! We were staying in NOLA for a few days and wanted to find someone we could trust to take care of Bruno while visiting the city. Thanks Michael for being so caring with Bruno!”

“Visiting Oxford and so grateful Emily was able to watch my senior dog Lainey while I went to an event. It rained all day and Lainey being thunder phobic would not have done well in the hotel. Easy to schedule. Flexible with drop off and pick up times.”

“Our sweet pup has gone to Michelle's for doggy day care a few times and I can't speak highly enough about Michelle and her family! Before our first visit, my 2 daughters and I took Tia to visit and any worries I had were instantly alleviated. She is very friendly and they have put a lot of consideration into their outdoor space to make it dog-friendly and dog-safe. This is our first pet so I checked in a few times on Tia's first day and Michelle responded very quickly & sent adorable photos. Tia was excited to go back every time which is a good sign. Definitely recommend booking with Michelle!”

“She was sooooo amazing. We were only driving through New Orleans on our way to FL. We wanted to stop and visit a museum. It was so nice to have our dog well cared for while we spent the day touring. Highly recommend.”

“Ivette was so accommodating and took the most wonderful care of our dog. He is somewhat anxious and very energetic and she kept him happy and stimulated the whole time while sending us adorable photos and updates. We can’t thank her enough!”

“I am so happy to have found Whitney! My puppy Luna is a 2 year old pitmix rescue and she almost pulls me down to get to Whitney when we drop her off. She loves it there so much. Whitney sends me pictures and videos of Luna and says how much everyone loves her. Luna hates being alone, she has severe separation anxiety, so it warms my heart that she is happy and loved with Whitney and her family.”

“Cozette was very sweet and caring with Lucy. She took her on a few walks and made sure she was comfortable while we went sightseeing for the day. Got back to me quickly through text every time. Thanks, Cozette!”

About: Hi, I’m Britt — a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter. I had my sweet pup Abbie for 10 wonderful years, and since her recent passing, I’ve deeply missed having a dog around. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, but I’d love to share my home and heart with your pup in the meantime. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless friends’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I work remotely (as does my partner), so your dog will have constant company, attention, and care. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a spacious yard that’s fully enclosed with double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play and lounging in the sun. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the extra patience and TLC they may need. Whether your pup is energetic or a couch cuddler, they’ll be treated like family here. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to hear about your dog and how I can help! Right now, I’m freelancing remotely through November — my main job runs from November to June, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and work from home full-time. That means your pup will rarely be left alone and can expect lots of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for daytime care, overnights, or longer stays depending on your needs! I’m currently in a pet-free home, so your dog will get all the attention without the stress of sharing space with other animals. I live in a cozy New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your dog’s needs — whether they like their own space or prefer to be close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s great for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. While this profile is just for me, my partner is also home full-time and a calm, animal-loving presence. He’s especially patient with dogs who may be shy or nervous around men. I’m happy to accommodate crate training, medication, or any specific routines to help your pup feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I love them and take my care of them. I enjoy walking them because they allow me to get exercise for myself and the dog. I’ve raised dogs from 9 weeks old to taking care of a dog 16 years old. Both of my sons also enjoy being around them as well, as they are always treated as part of the family. Pet care fits in my day at multiple points. Including feeding at the breakfast and dinner then usually at least a 30 minute walk. Then sitting outside with my dog Roger while he relaxes in the sun. I do anything that makes my dogs more comfortable and happy. That ranges from getting special bone treats that increase my dogs breath to going on 1 hour walks. As I have hybrid work I’m usually home so I let my dog out whenever he needs to go out.

About: Dogs have been at the heart of my life for over 20 years. I’ve shared my home with a full pack of beloved pups—from spirited beagles to gentle seniors—and cared for friends’ and neighbors’ dogs of all ages and temperaments. I understand the joy (and the responsibility) of keeping a dog happy, healthy, and loved while their people are away I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of experience caring for pups of all ages, from playful youngsters to gentle seniors. I work from home, so visiting dogs get constant love, walks, and snuggles in a calm, dog‑friendly environment. And … I have the flexibility to come to your dog, if staying at home is more comfortable for your pup! I follow your rules for consistency for the dog. My home has a fenced yard and I’m happy to visit parks or go on walks.

“Evlin was Great! She took great care of my dog Dutch. She sent pictures daily and made sure he had plenty of attention. I would definitely use her service again.”

About: My partner and I adopted our chihuahua mix Mango over a year ago now, and she loves nothing more than her daily hour walk to City Park in the morning. I had my pup Daisy for 17 years and although she's passed now, she loved hiking and walking around the neighborhood. I also lived with my best friend for a few years in college and co-parented her dog from the moment she came home from the shelter. I have taught both dogs basic training such as sit, stay, lay down, heel, paw and cuddle! I work from home and am happy to bring your dog with us or take them out later in the day! Happy to dogsit at my house in Navarre (couple blocks from City Park) also! I have a long fenced yard perfect for throwing the ball or just chasing around. My pup is fully kennel trained and I’m happy to kennel yours or they can chill on the couch when we’re out of the house! In terms of walks I always steer clear of other dogs on walks just in case of reactivity, and love City Park trails for the availability of water and shade!

“Rachelle was great with my dog Luna, who needed extra attention while recovering from heartworms. Luna was waking up to head to Rachelle's house. Rachelle was very responsive throughout every part of the Rover process and I'll definitely be using her again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and I had my own until he grew old. I guess you could say that I have a lifetime of experience. Because my own dog’s passing was so heart breaking, I can’t bring myself to get another at this time so I enjoy getting my dog fill in through Rover. I am from Louisiana and I have lived in New Orleans for 8 years. I consider myself very reliable and responsible. So far, I have had great experiences with Rover. I can't wait to meet your dog(s)! I’m currently working part-time so I have a lot of spare time to devote to pet care. When pet sitting, I usually spend most of my time at home with the pet. I currently do not have any pets so pets that I sit will have my full attention. I do have a backyard and a walkable neighborhood.

About: I've had many pet dogs and a few cats in my house since my childhood. I care deeply for animals and I'll do my absolute best to take care of others if I get the opportunity. I'm a dog owner and I have a very flexible schedule. I'm in pretty good shape and love to walk and run around with my Bella. I have a large fenced-in yard and I don't mind dogs in the house. My Bella is friendly and would love company sometimes. I can handle and care for your dog responsibly. I’m retired and like to stay active and I like spending time walking and staying fit so I walk when I can and I love doing it with my dog buddies. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around in, it’s safe and secure. My dog would like to get to know some other dogs.

“Mindy has an extraordinary gift !! My little Buddy warmed up to her immediately!! She sent pics throughout the day on Buddy’s adventures! Just seeing him cuddling on her lap eased any anxiety I had about leaving him all day. She is a true “Dog whisperer “?”

Britt L.
“Britt is a compassionate, conscientious, responsible pet caregiver. I have hired Britt several times over the last 2 years. Britt always follows my pet care directions, is always on-time - even during days of covid and hurricane challenges in New Orleans. Best of all, Britt loves my dogs and my dogs love Britt. Britt has an aptitude to read animals 6th sense which I find quite interesting. I highly recommend Britt for exceptional, loving quality pet care.”

Sarah C.
“I believe that Sarah has a truly unique relationship with animals and most of all dogs. She loves walking them because she gets exercise as well as the dog. She always has a dog around and loves each one she’s had. I believe that by taking care of more dogs will give her the ability to spread that love to more dogs.”

Lora A.
“Lori was an amazing dog sitter for us and we would use her again without question. First of all it was clear how much she loves dogs. She sent frequent photos of our pup throughout our trip, and updated us as to how our dog was doing. You will not be disappointed if you hire Lori to watch your beloved dogs.”

In addition to being a dog owner herself, she has watched my puppy Luna from when she was just a couple months old to being a fully grown dog at 2 years. She was so attentive to Luna’s needs (she needs a lot of attention and a lot of cuddles), and gave me updates on how Luna was doing whenever I was out of town. I trust Tova any day to take care of my dogs, she’s the best!”

Rosemary M.
“I have known Rosemary for nearly 10yrs and have been her veterinarian for approximately 6 years. I would describe her as an animal lover who is kind and compassionate, extremely reliable and trustworthy. I would gladly hire her as my dog walker/ caregiver.”

Kenneth D.
“As long as i've known Kenneth Dumas he's always been found to be a compassionate lover of animals, especially dogs. He's taken in big dogs like labs, medium mixed-breed dogs, and small dogs like terriers. Strays off the street and dogs people have trusted to take care of in their abscence, whether the owners were going away for a temporary summer vacation, moving to another state and the owner couldn't bring the dog with them for whatever reason, or simply a family dog that the owner, unfortunately was getting older and less mobile. Kenneth is always the go-to guy to help out in that regard. When I last saw him late last year he had adopted an adorable brown and white mid-sized dog named Bella. Bella is by all accounts a loyal, protective, and fun loving dog who Kenneth has very-well trained whether she's inside or outside chasing sticks. This isn't surprising considering who her caretaker is. Also, Kenneth has told me that one of the more personal reasons he enjoys walking and taking care of dogs is that the daily dog walks he goes on allows him to stay fit, "get his steps in" , I think is the phrase. So in conclusion, I think Kenneth Dumas would make an excellent pet caregiver to anyone who would solicit his services. He's attentive to the animals needs, has no problem taking them to parks to run out that energy, and has a demeanor that any animals that are fortunate enough to meet him immediately trusts and sense that he'll make sure they are happy and healthy. Can't recommend enough.”

Bianca G.
“Bianca was amazing!!! I was very nervous to go out of town for the first time after getting my sweet boy Finley, but Bianca sent a ton of pictures and I felt so calm on my vacation because I knew Finley was in good hands! I definitely will be using her again and recommend her to all!!”
