About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

To help you feel connected while you're away, I provide regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay. Every boarding also concludes with a personalized summary of their meals, walks, potty habits, behavior, and overall experience, so you know exactly how their stay went. I share my home with Tully, my friendly, well-socialized Golden Retriever. Because this is his home too, I prioritize good matches and a calm, comfortable environment for both resident and visiting dogs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I care for every dog as an individual by following their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay so you can have peace of mind while you’re away, and every boarding concludes with a personalized summary of your dog’s stay. My goal is to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
