About: Hi there! I’m a recent University of Florida grad with 8 years of pet sitting experience for many many furry friends. I am currently in a virtual graduate program so am very flexible and excited to petsit! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, fish—even hedgehogs! At home, I have cats, dogs, and a few fish tanks of my own, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities. I am knowledgeable in medical needs including administering liquid or pill medications for cats and dogs. With some foster kittens I have even administered IV fluids. About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I lost my own dog, Maika, a few years ago. She was 14 years old but it was way too early … I’m not ready to get a new dog myself, so Rover has been perfect. I moved to New Orleans a few years ago from Minnesota, where I was also an active member of Rover. My partner, Jonathan, and I bought a house that was built in 1909 — originally as an outdoor market in Holy Cross. It’s now a huge open space attached to a large fenced in yard. Dogs love it!. The dogs hang with me and I usually leave the door open to the back yard, which is basically a mini park with several fruit trrees. The neighborhood itself is also wonderful, there’s a large open field that is fenced in, I a great place for playing fetch or chasing frisbees. The levee is also perfect for long morning or evening walks. I''m a writer and work from home, so having a pup or two around is a real pleasure. I often take the dogs on walks or runs along the levee. But there’s also plenty of space in the house in yard if they just want to chill at home. Usually I work and puddle about doing arts and crafts and doggy's tag behind. The yard has both sunny spots and nice shade… Perfect for the pups.

About: Greetings, y’all! My name is Ashley, and I’m a public health graduate student. I am originally from the east coast (Maryland, New Jersey, Philly, NYC), and I’m a recent transplant from the southwest (Austin, TX). I’m currently working remotely and attending my Master of Public Health classes online so I have open availability to care for your pets while you’re away. I want to house and pet sit because we love to help people, their pet family members and their plants. I have my own “doghter” named Zoë, a 9-year-old black Lab that I rescued at 8 weeks old.
