“Emily was the best pet-sitter we have ever had! She was caring, responsible, and had great communication. We received lots of pictures of our fur babies, and she checked in often, putting our minds at ease. We came home to very happy animals and our home was cleaner than how we left it. We will definitely be asking Emily to pet sit again!”

About: Hi there! I’m a recent University of Florida grad with 8 years of pet sitting experience for many many furry friends. I am currently in a virtual graduate program so am very flexible and excited to petsit! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, fish—even hedgehogs! At home, I have cats, dogs, and a few fish tanks of my own, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities. I am knowledgeable in medical needs including administering liquid or pill medications for cats and dogs. With some foster kittens I have even administered IV fluids. I also have years of experience fostering kittens, and I studied animal science for a little during undergrad, so your pet is in knowledgeable, loving hands. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and cared for like family. I’m a recent college grad currently enrolled in a virtual grad program, so I have pretty open availability and would be happy to work with your schedule to best fit your pets’ needs! I work with client’s to meet the daily schedule and needs of their pet. I like to match the care that owners provide their pets to ensure they don’t stress over change when their owner is away! I have experience with many medical needs. I have administered all types of meds to dogs as well as my own foster kittens.
“Joe has been an amazing help and I will absolutely use his help again. On top of being extremely professional and putting great attention to detail with all the requests I had for watching my dogs, Joe has a friendly and positive personality. He pays close attention and showed that he was ready and willing to accommodate for any needs the dogs have or that I have in order to know my pups are safe and taken care of. He communicates well while I was away and also gave me peace of mind on a routine bases. Highly recommend, especially if you are living on base since Joe already has access to base housing and will not require additional waivers or guest passes.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

“Cheryl came and stayed at the house she was great! I felt much better that the dogs were in their own environment and were receiving one on one attention. I feel like we have built a relationship with Cheryl and look forward to using her again.”
“Sarah was fantastic- she was flexible and able to hop in with my pup at the last minute, was super responsive, and did a wonderful and respectful job taking care of my 16 year old dog with special needs. Strongly recommended”

“Catherine is an absolutely amazing pet sitter. She stayed at our home and took great care with our doggos and kitty. She followed the list we gave her to a T. She even sent us tons of pics of our animals while we were away. I would recommend her for anyone!”
“Highly recommend Martha! This was my first time leaving my pup with someone I didn’t know, and she put all my worries to bed after the meet and greet. Sent daily pictures and messages, so I knew my dog was having a nice time :) Very attentive to the details I laid out and responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire experience and left my house just like it was when she arrived. I would book her again and would easily recommend her to anyone else!”

“Karlin took care of my dog after a bilateral TPLO surgery, only days after the operation. I had a scheduling conflict and had to be away for a few days and she stepped up and took care of my injured dog! She is very loving and kind to the pups and she was very communicative with me as well! So glad we found her!”

About: I lost my own dog, Maika, a few years ago. She was 14 years old but it was way too early … I’m not ready to get a new dog myself, so Rover has been perfect. I moved to New Orleans a few years ago from Minnesota, where I was also an active member of Rover. My partner, Jonathan, and I bought a house that was built in 1909 — originally as an outdoor market in Holy Cross. It’s now a huge open space attached to a large fenced in yard. Dogs love it!. The dogs hang with me and I usually leave the door open to the back yard, which is basically a mini park with several fruit trrees. The neighborhood itself is also wonderful, there’s a large open field that is fenced in, I a great place for playing fetch or chasing frisbees. The levee is also perfect for long morning or evening walks. I''m a writer and work from home, so having a pup or two around is a real pleasure. I often take the dogs on walks or runs along the levee. But there’s also plenty of space in the house in yard if they just want to chill at home. Usually I work and puddle about doing arts and crafts and doggy's tag behind. The yard has both sunny spots and nice shade… Perfect for the pups.
About: Greetings, y’all! My name is Ashley, and I’m a public health graduate student. I am originally from the east coast (Maryland, New Jersey, Philly, NYC), and I’m a recent transplant from the southwest (Austin, TX). I’m currently working remotely and attending my Master of Public Health classes online so I have open availability to care for your pets while you’re away. I want to house and pet sit because we love to help people, their pet family members and their plants. I have my own “doghter” named Zoë, a 9-year-old black Lab that I rescued at 8 weeks old. When I decided to start planning to move abroad, I learned how house and pet sitting could allow me to have flexibility and new adventures as I travel internationally. As I prepare to move forward beyond the borders of the United States, I am new to exploring this platform through house sits in the city where I currently live. I want to pet sit in my own neighborhood because I’m accumulating reviews so that I can facilitate my move abroad where I plan to go to school, work remotely and house sit internationally. Since I'm planning to leave eventually, I have reduced the size of my container garden so I'm excited to have some houseplants and gardens that I will be able to tend.
“Caitlin did great! I left her quite the challenge, a 5 and a half month old terrier mix pup rescue that loves to nibble:). She managed to take good care of my fur baby (updates every day with pictures to boot!) AND looked after my house while I was away in Alaska for over 2 weeks! She has a big heart and is extremely trustworthy. If you need someone to go above and beyond with your pet look no further!”

“Aziz has been amazing on every front. When I needed a pet sitter with almost zero notice, he was at my house the next day. He was flexible with timing, always responsive, and kept me up to date. My dogs loved spending time with him and were all over him. He took great care of my house, too. He’s a smart, reliable, and compassionate sitter who I will ABSOLUTELY use again.”
“What amazed me about Ryan was how organized, knowledgeable and self-sufficient he was. He even took notes at the meet and greet! We quickly concluded that we and our pups were in very good hands!(”
