My friend couldn't have a dog at his apartment but I wanted my pup to come on the trip bc I wanted to have her join me in the Quarter while I walked around. Michael met me several times to let me get my pup and drop her back off with him a few hours later. She seemed so comfortable with him and he was very friendly. The only improvement I could say would be that an occasional picture of your pup would help put nervous fur parents at ease. I would absolutely recommend Michael to watch your pup!”

“Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life. I currently have two senior cats ( brothers) and 3 porch kitties. I have helped with TNR in my neighborhood and feed the strays. I also volunteer at the shelter when I can. Cats were my very first type of pet and only type of pet until I turned 19. Now I own two dogs as well.

I speak fluent cat. I know when the belly roll is a greeting, and when it's a trap. For visits in your home, everything happens on your cat's terms, in their territory: feeding, fresh water, a properly cleaned litter box, and genuine company. Whether that's play, brushing, or just quietly existing nearby, I'm happy to do whichever your cat prefers. I'm careful with the zoomers, and patient with the shy cats too. About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs pets. My dog is deaf and I have learned to communicate with her. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. “Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. Overall if I could give 6 stars I would and if I need a dog sitter in New Orleans again I know who to ask. Thanks so much Kenneth!”

“Ashley was fantastic with my dog, Neon. She made sure he was well integrated with the other dogs and gave him plenty of individual attention, including lots of games of fetch—one of his favorite things. She also kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn’t get overheated during the New Orleans summer heat. I loved that she had a kiddie pool in the backyard so the dogs could cool off while playing. Ashley was easy to coordinate with, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. It was clear Neon had a wonderful vacation while I was on mine. I’d absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter!”
