About: I've had animals my whole life and taking primary care for them was one of my first "big kid" tasks and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Giving love, scritches, walks, and ball throws is what I live for. If I'm not covered in fur at the end of the day, did it even happen? I'm a part time working mom with a flexible schedule. I would love to give your dog or cat that mid-day break they might crave while you're stuck in the office trying to earn them a bigger backyard. I'm happy to care for your pets in the same way you would. If a quick walk and kennel is all your furry friend needs, sign me up! If you need a mid-afternoon litter scoop because your kitty is very particular about the state of her litter box, no problem! If you need ball throwing, cuddle time, or anything else to make your furball feel the love, then let me know.

“María has been really patient with my girls. Tessa gets very anxious and barks and María met with us twice to allow her time to warm up. María is excellent with updates and we look forward to having her stay with the girls overnight.”

About: Hi, I’m Linda—your friendly neighborhood pet pal from the Northmont corner of La Mesa—a lifelong dog-and-cat whisperer with a soft spot for neighborhood strolls, sunny snuggle sessions, and furry companions of every kind. From playful pups to wise old whiskers, I’ve shared my home and heart with my dachshunds and kitties galore—and I still believe there’s nothing better than earning a tail wag or a quiet purr of approval. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area, I live near Northmont park…with lots of room for running and chasing a ball, or just lounging under a shady tree. I bring calm, consistent care with a side of local flair. Your pet and I might wander familiar trails, explore shaded sidewalks, or simply lounge on the porch with the breeze in our fur. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just a drop-in cuddle and kibble check, I’ll treat your four-legged family like my own—with warmth, punctuality, and lots of love. Let’s make your time away feel like just another cozy day for your pet. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area. I am currently available 7 days/week. Prefer early morning walks if possible to protect your pet's paws from hot pavement and heat of the day. I prefer not to provide visits to my personal home, but more than willing to care for your fur babies in your home, where they're comfortable and in their familiar environment.

“I am so thankful for Suzanne for doing such an awesome job walking my little buddy the last few days while I was at work. She is friendly and reliable and Bruin loves her. He was so happy when I came home at the end of the day on the days she walked him!”

About: Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid – American Red Cross Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a wide range of pets, scaled or furry, young and old. Whether your pet is young and playful or a senior in need of a little extra care, I look forward to giving them the best care they need. I’ve cared for many medium to large dog breeds such as Labrador Retrievers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Siberian and Alaskan Huskies, and Malamutes. I also have experience with smaller breeds like Dachshunds and French Bulldogs. For cats, I’ve grown up with them in my own home as well as cared for friends and neighbors over the years. I currently share my home with two of my own, Ulysses and James 🐈 🐈⬛. Reliable, compassionate, and trained in pet first aid, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm also happy to help with simple household tasks like bringing in packages or taking out the trash. Feel free to reach out during a visit and let me know! 🕓 Schedule I have a fairly flexible work schedule. I do work a typical 9-5 but can pop in and out for short periods of time. Please message me and we can get you on my schedule ☺️ 💛 Care I think having a set routine for pets is very important, especially when you’re away. Ideally I would try to best emulate what schedule you have your pet on with walks and feeding schedule.

“Lissette was fantastic! My dog has anxiety and I wasn’t quite sure how things would go but Lissette was able to quickly win my dog over. She sent detailed Rover cards and followed all of our instructions. She is also a great photographer! I would surely reach out to her again.”

About: Owning my own dog, I took care and played with it, frequently. I took my dog out 6-9 times a day to pee with a nannie pack, including water bottle and poop bag. I feed my pets in the morning and the afternoon. I play with them once and sometimes twice a day. I take them out for walk a minimum of four times a day. Once a week I wash them. About two times a week I brush them. Once a month I clip their nails. I respect the pet owners rules. I make sure that the pets eat, drink and pee/poop according to the owners schedules. I put the pets on leash’s prior taking them out for walks.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely love animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. I am pretty flexible and pet-sit full time. So I’m willing to take pets based on my availability. I am usually available even days a week. Whether at my home or at my clients home, my clients can be rest assured their loving pets would always receive the same loving care.

I enjoy connecting with my clients, understanding and honoring your lifestyle, and most importantly fulfilling your pet's needs. I am a dedicated sitter who is responsible, clean, uplifting, and easy to work with. My best qualities: - Patient - Reliable - Quick communication - My gentle, kind attention to your pet In addition, I take pride in performing housekeeping duties such as collecting mail, sweeping the floors, and caring for your plants/garden. I am available to pet sit on the weekends and during the week. I am happy to work around your schedule. All pets have feelings just like us and I want them to be happy while you are away. My intention is to create a comfortable space and intuitively care for your pet with my supportive & loving energy. I am respectful of your personal belongings and I’ll keep your home clean and organized.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. As someone who once traveled extensively for work, it was important to me to find a sitter who I knew would take care of my animals, just as well as me. Now that I have semi-retired, I get to focus on my passions. Walks, playtime, cuddle time, and yappy hour are all services I offer. I can accommodate whatever your pet’s needs may be. I will work with the routine you have created to keep your pet’s care routine seamless. I will treat your animal with the same love and compassion as I would my own. Safety is paramount and I want to ensure that when outside, the animal will be on a leash and in an environment where they will be comfortable walking.

About: I’ve previously worked at a doggy daycare for a year and a half - on top of this I have been dog sitting/walking since the age of 12. I have also been a foster through the San Diego Humane Society for over a year now! From this experience, I have training in feeding, grooming, helping with medical accommodations, and administering medicine to animals with certain needs. I also grew up in a household with 2 dogs at all times! I just graduated from college and have a part time job, so I’m very flexible schedule wise and have a lot of free time to help! While at the clients home, I care for pets by making sure they are the most comfortable and calm version of themselves! I respect the property while making sure the pet is getting proper care and love. I live near the beach as well so if your pet loves the water, I’m more than happy to take them there!

About: I’m the person friends and family count on when they go out of town. I have three dogs and a cat that I love to death. I’ve been looking after pets since I was 10—starting with my neighbors’ animals. I began pet walking and sitting more seriously around the time of COVID. I’m trustworthy, flexible, and great at matching your pet’s energy—whether that means a long walk or some quiet cuddle time. I’m currently on summer break from college at Cal Poly Humboldt, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days and times. I also have reliable transportation, which allows me to accommodate longer drives or last-minute bookings when needed. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep things tidy, and provide updates with photos.

About: Currently I’m a ln animal person without pets no pets. For the past 5 years I’ve walked and was a sitter for friends and friends of friends- word of mouth, not professionally. I’ve taken care of big and small dogs, cats, special needs and more. Growing up we always had cats and dogs at home and occasionally birds, rabbits, and even a bearded dragon! I’d love to be your pets next best friend! I’m currently between jobs and have availability 7 days a week throughout the day. Mornings. Evenings. Afternoons. Aside from a few online courses, my schedule is flexible enough to work around your pets routine! All the animals I’ve looked after, I treat as if they’re my own.
