About: I come from a professional dog training background, and I bring that to every visit. Much of my work has been with dogs who require more understanding than the average person has: reactive dogs, anxious dogs, dogs who are typically hard to find care for. Whether you've been turned down before or just want the best care for your pack, please reach out. Helping dogs is genuinely how I enjoy spending my days the most. On a normal drop-in or walk I: * Add mental stimulation through short training sessions and games * Reinforce appropriate boundaries so good behavior holds while you're gone * Build focus and confidence with nosework and scent games * Continue any training you're already working on, using your cues and your approach Just as important, I treat my visits like the job they are: * I show up on time, every time. * I follow instructions exactly as written. Your routine stays your routine. * I ask the questions that prevent problems later: gate and door latches, leash triggers, medication timing, what you want me to do if anything were to go wrong. * You'll get a clear update with pictures from every visit, so you know exactly how it went. I'm comfortable with medical needs and special feeding requirements. I have a lot of experience with Huskies, German Shepherds, Malamutes, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls and Labs; I'm happy to help with any breed or mix. If your situation doesn't fit the usual mold, get in touch. I'm flexible, solution oriented and usually reply within minutes. Drop-in visits, dog walks, and hikes. Available full time, including same-day and last-minute bookings when my calendar allows. Always on time, follow instructions precisely, and treat your pets like my own. Message me with any ask, my response time is usually just a few minutes. I'm well versed in meeting new dogs of all backgrounds and have quite a bit of experience working with animals where there is little room for error. Rest assured that I'm 100% committed to your pets. Canine First Aid & CPR Certified!

“Isa did a great job with our dog, Frida. She’s reliable and communicative, and it’s clear from the pictures that all of our animals (dog and 3 cats) wanted to be around her! We recommend her for your dog and cat care needs, and we’ll definitely be rebooking her again.”

“Kacey was the perfect answer to giving our dogs a midday break while our friends were taking care of them. Kacey was the ‘dog whisperer’ and even got our boys to ‘pose’ for some beautiful photos! We are very thankful for Kacey and her loving care of our boys during their walks together. Thank you, Kacey!”

“Michelle is amazing! She is so wonderful with our energetic (and strong) fur baby Pitbull Luna. Luna is so much happier since doing regular walks with Michelle. Great communication, positive attitude and goes above and beyond showing us and Luna how much she cares. Michelle has also been great and flex on using a few extra minutes to take our 14 year old pit on a walk around the cul de sac so he also feels included. So glad we found Michelle and our fur babies are over the moon.”

“Kristen is awesome. We have used her several times for our strong willed mixed husky. She is quick with communication and we love seeing the fun they have through the photos she shares. I’m sure we will be using Kristen again real soon!”

“Beth is great with Niko! She came over and met him the weekend before and did such a great job making him feel comfortable. After his first walk, Niko was happy and very content. Beth is super flexible and great to work with!”

About: I have many years experience with small and large dogs. I had a poodle for 12 yrs and a Labrador for 15 yrs. I currently have a medium elderly 16 year old that still loves his walks! Special needs dogs are just fine. I am retired and home most of the day during the week. I go to the gym and yoga then at home. If I go out on Weekends I am home every evening. I have a fenced yard and a safe neighborhood. The area is dog friendly for walks. My house is safe for animals including quiet spaces to relax. I can travel locally for visits too. I am flexible and reliable. I worked in the healthcare industry and for the State of Washington. I also foster for the humane society.
“Courtney walked my dogs and they loved her. I appreciated her care for them and how she watched for their safety. It’s hard enough leaving your dogs behind but when there is someone like Courtney that you can rely on to care about them, it’s much easier to leave. Thank you!”

“Sophia's availability and reliability are excellent! I can tell she genuinely cares about and enjoys working with animals. Our dogs are like family to us and we appreciate sitters like Sophia who treat them as such.”

“Want to leave a final review for Mila and Liza, her daughter. We were supposed to move earlier in the week, but our house was delayed and I had already canceled ‘s services; however, she was so willing to come two more times the following week, even though I had not originally scheduled her. Gabby absolutely adores her time with Mila and Liza, and it is really hard, leaving such a reliable, kind, and trustworthy couple of dog walkers. You could not be in better hands!”
“Raeven is clearly gifted! She is one of the good ones. She is truly a dog whisperer. My dog, Gabby, absolutely loves her like I have never seen her behave with another person save for me and my husband. It makes my heart smile. I know she is being well taken care of and super happy. Raeven is communicative, sends pics, and clearly cares about each animal like they belong to her personally.”
“We really appreciate Jennifer’s flexibility and ability to meet the dogs one day and come and walk them the next. Sounds like it all went fine. We will definitely want to use Jennifer again!”
“Ariana was very patient with our two large and energetic dogs. She sent multiple photos and even a video during their walk. We feel very comfortable with her and will be booking another walk.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Morton-Berrydale
Katherine was communicative, friendly, on-time and did a great job following instructions and providing walk details for Maple on the Rover Card! I really appreciated her assistance with this, while I had to work a late shift. Highly recommended dog walker for sure! 👍

Great experience with Jessica. I booked a 1 hour walk for 2 dogs for 3 days. My girl only wanted to do about 30 minutes instead of the full hour booked. So she brought her back and continued to walk my boy for a full hour. He was crying and looking for Jessica each day after she left. Would definitely book again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
