“Amber watched 2 of our 3 dogs, Baby and Yogi. We were very pleased with the level of care she provided during their stay. Prior to boarding, we did a meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit for our pups and her and her family. I warned her beforehand that Yogi does have a history of biting (he wasn’t socialized much before we adopted him) and is generally nervous around new people and new settings. I was mostly worried about this especially since she has young children in her home but she explained that their used to caring for dogs with this type of behavior and that her children were dog respectful — and she wasn’t lying! During the visit, the little ones wanted to pet Baby and Yogi and Amber reminded them to be respectful of their spaces and they quickly listened. My fiancé and I took a trip to Canada for our babymoon and dropped them off on a Saturday morning. We had plans to pick them up the following Sunday evening at around 5pm but that didn’t play out the way we expected due to heavy traffic at the border. We were at the border for at least 1.5hrs. I messaged Amber to apologize and give her a heads up that we will probably be about 2hrs late to pick them up. I felt bad and even offered to have a friend or family member grab the pups for me so she didn’t have to wait for us to get there. She was really understanding and said that 7pm was fine and told me the two of them were doing great. By the time we did get there it was closer to 7:30 and she didn’t seem upset at all. I apologized several times and she was super understanding and polite throughout. She told me both pups did great and she had no issues whatsoever. Both dogs were happy to see me when I got there and they look well taken care of. I would definitely rebook with her in the future!”

When my dog did act up, Amy had prompt communication with me as we figured out next steps. She did a great job with him in a hard situation. About: I have been around dogs my entire life, I can tell what a dog needs just by their behavior/body language/sound. I know how to stop dog fights; I will do whatever to keep your pet safe. Also i can somewhat train dogs (not professionally) but i trained my dog to stop jumping, shake, sit, lay down, get off of whatever he’s on, and to ignore things he’s going after. About: I have many years experience with small and large dogs. I had a poodle for 12 yrs and a Labrador for 15 yrs. I currently have a medium elderly 16 year old that still loves his walks! Special needs dogs are just fine. I am retired and home most of the day during the week. I go to the gym and yoga then at home. If I go out on Weekends I am home every evening. I have a fenced yard and a safe neighborhood. The area is dog friendly for walks. My house is safe for animals including quiet spaces to relax. I can travel locally for visits too. I am flexible and reliable. I worked in the healthcare industry and for the State of Washington. I also foster for the humane society.
About: I have been pet sitting for years, either through families/neighbors I know or through facebook. I love animals, I have two dogs of my own and grew up with cats. I am reliable and punctual, and ready to help! I am currently a student and working part time, and with my college schedule I have pretty open days to stop by and stay a while with your pet. I am available most nights for help as well. I understand every pet is different and they all have different needs, and because of this I make sure that every animal is safe at all times. This includes checking gates/locks, cleaning up, and always keeping an eye out for their safety, as well as their happiness :)

My three fur babies are always around to help keep your dog active, social, and engaged throughout the day. Daily activity is a priority here—we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime in the yard along with one or two walks, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away. When you arrive I will meet you and your fur baby on the front porch and I will take over care from there after you say good bye.

For starters, she was thorough in reviewing Charlie's vaccinations, which was reassuring, and the ability to do a meet & greet prior to Charlie's stay was also nice. Charlie had the time of her life, playing with the other dogs, and generally tiring herself out! The best indicator for just how great of a sitter Jean is, has to be the good habits Charlie came home with; like her behavior actually improved; less whining, fewer accidents, kind of felt like she grew up at Jean's house!
