“Our year old pup Thea got to go to the Dog Park, & run off some energy. And bathe in the rain puddle. And Jessica's young daughter got to scratch her belly... Which both of them loved as the photo shows.”

“Joyce and her husband were wonderful with our Coco. They know dogs and worked so well with ours. He has a bit of separation anxiety, but Joyce and her dogs took care of that immediately. Loved the large fenced back yard and the fact that her 2 dogs were small so ours wasn’t intimated. Looking forward to working with her again.”

“Jacklyn was great! Sent lots of (very cute!) pictures, walked McCoy, and made sure he got along with her own dog. McCoy was always happy to see her (and her dog) when we dropped him off. Jacklyn was also very responsive to us (e.g. when we had to modify our arrival/pick up time) which made our lives very easy.”

“I’ve booked with Mariah for 3 times now with more to come! My pup is always excited when I drop her off and so happy and relaxed when i picked her up. She’s obviously very well taken care off when i’m at work.”

About: We’ve grown up loving dogs since our childhood. We’ve taken care of our own pack for the past 14+ years. We love cuddle time, playing fetch and going out on walks with our dogs. My husband works from home. Your pup will not be left alone while under our care. I work M-F, get home around 5p and get the evenings to dedicate to the pups. Daily walks can be fit into our schedule, either am or on We have a fenced dog proof backyard with plenty of space to play or relax. 2 friendly and cuddly chihuahuas + a loving friendly Husky will make sure your pup feels at home.
“Trisha was amazing from the very start. She was very responsive with all my questions and accommodated our request for a meet and greet. Our dog Rosie had a great time playing and socializing with the other dogs in her care. Trisha sent multiple pictures and updates of Rosie through out the day. We are very happy with the care she provided our little Rosie!”

“Doreen is a great dogsitter. She is easy to get in contact with and responds very quickly. My puppy was so happy to be able to play with her dog Diesel and go out for walks. She is always sending updates. I already used her services three times and my puppy came back home tired and happy. She treats my puppy as her own. I recommend her services and I'm now a recurring client. She's adorable. Thank you Doreen.”

“Anji was wonderful with both of our dogs who are never in daycare or boarding, so this was a new situation for them and for us. Anji made it easy! She was so responsive and kind to us, and our dogs were very comfortable leaving us to go with her, and obviously taken excellent care of! We’re so grateful to Anji and will definitely be rebooking with her.”

About: I have many years experience with small and large dogs. I had a poodle for 12 yrs and a Labrador for 15 yrs. I currently have a medium elderly 16 year old that still loves his walks! Special needs dogs are just fine. I am retired and home most of the day during the week. I go to the gym and yoga then at home. If I go out on Weekends I am home every evening. I have a fenced yard and a safe neighborhood. The area is dog friendly for walks. My house is safe for animals including quiet spaces to relax. I can travel locally for visits too. I am flexible and reliable. I worked in the healthcare industry and for the State of Washington. I also foster for the humane society.
About: I provide reliable and attentive care for pets, treating each one with the same love and respect I give my own. I have owned dogs my whole life, growing up with boxers, and later adopting two retired racing greyhounds after moving out on my own. Since then, I’ve raised three puppies, each with unique personalities and training needs. I use a balanced training method, understanding that no single approach works for every dog. I meet dogs where they are, offering patience, consistency, and compassion to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. I also participate in dog sports and showing dogs, which has deepened my knowledge and appreciation for canine care and behavior. In addition, I’m well-versed in dog first aid and highly observant when it comes to monitoring health, safety, and overall well-being. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your companion is in capable and caring hands. As a stay-at-home dog mom, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pet. I’m able to provide them with one-on-one attention throughout the day, ensuring they feel loved, engaged, and never lonely while you’re away. I have a small, fully fenced 6-foot backyard and a spacious home to comfortably host your pet. I live in a quiet neighborhood with access to a nearby 2-acre property where I can take dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some extra exercise. I share my home with five well-behaved dogs who are accustomed to welcoming new dogs into the household. My home is thoughtfully set up with multiple baby gates and crates, allowing me to manage the environment safely if needed. While staying with me, your dog will have free access in and out of the backyard, ensuring plenty of fresh air, playtime, and comfort throughout their visit.
“Cheri has watched our pup twice and both times he’s come home content and ready for a little shut eye - it must be the nice, long walk in the forest. :) … Thank you for taking care of our somewhat anxious, excitable pup and for the excellent communication. Looking forward to more stays!!”

About: With 30 years of experience, we've truly seen it all when it comes to caring for dogs. We always strive to include our Rover clients in our daily lives, whether it's during walks, training sessions, quiet time, or playing with toys and chews. Our love for all dogs means we're prepared to meet any needs they may have. Ryan grew up immersed in veterinary clinics, thanks to his parents' profession as veterinarians. As for me, I've worked in vet clinics and volunteered with rescues and animal shelters. Our passion for dogs extends to every type, from the quiet ones to the rambunctious puppies. With Ryan working from home and me homeschooling our kids aged 10 and 12, there's always someone here to shower love and attention on your dogs. As an active 4H dog family, we have agility equipment, puzzles, toys, and even a grooming table. We are well-prepared to cater to any needs your pet may have, and we have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. Our priority is happy pets! If your dog is crate-trained, we kindly ask that they have their crates for the stay. If they are not crate-trained, please talk with us so we can create a plan that best suits your dog's needs. Our home is centered around our animals, and we're excited to extend the same care and affection to your dog. Since we homeschool our children (ages 10 and 12), we are home all day with the dogs, ensuring they receive ample attention and engagement. Our daily routine includes walks, playtime, puzzle toys, and chew toys. We view training as a fun activity and have jumps, tunnels, hidden toys, and rally signs to make it enjoyable. Every day, we engage in positive training sessions, and the dogs staying with us are always eager for their turn to play. We tailor our activities to each dog's pace and always have plenty of treats on hand. Your dog will have the option to sleep in bedrooms with people, downstairs, or in their crate at night. For your convenience, pick-up and drop-off times are available between 7-9 am or 6-8 To be able to give each client the time and attention they deserve we have chosen to only take one client at a time. For holidays we do have a 4 day booking minimum. I wanted to share a little bit about the setup we have for your furry friends. We have a great fenced yard where they can take potty breaks comfortably. For exercise, we make sure to take them out for walks and have plenty of playtime. We’ve stocked up on loads of toys for playing fetch, and the dogs absolutely love to play with each other. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet, with sidewalks perfect for strolls and a lovely park nearby.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
