My home is thoughtfully set up with multiple baby gates and crates, allowing me to manage the environment safely if needed. While staying with me, your dog will have free access in and out of the backyard, ensuring plenty of fresh air, playtime, and comfort throughout their visit.

Our love for all dogs means we're prepared to meet any needs they may have. Ryan grew up immersed in veterinary clinics, thanks to his parents' profession as veterinarians. As for me, I've worked in vet clinics and volunteered with rescues and animal shelters. Our passion for dogs extends to every type, from the quiet ones to the rambunctious puppies. With Ryan working from home and me homeschooling our kids aged 10 and 12, there's always someone here to shower love and attention on your dogs. As an active 4H dog family, we have agility equipment, puzzles, toys, and even a grooming table. We are well-prepared to cater to any needs your pet may have, and we have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. Our priority is happy pets! If your dog is crate-trained, we kindly ask that they have their crates for the stay. If they are not crate-trained, please talk with us so we can create a plan that best suits your dog's needs. Our home is centered around our animals, and we're excited to extend the same care and affection to your dog. Since we homeschool our children (ages 10 and 12), we are home all day with the dogs, ensuring they receive ample attention and engagement. Our daily routine includes walks, playtime, puzzle toys, and chew toys. We view training as a fun activity and have jumps, tunnels, hidden toys, and rally signs to make it enjoyable. Every day, we engage in positive training sessions, and the dogs staying with us are always eager for their turn to play. We tailor our activities to each dog's pace and always have plenty of treats on hand. Your dog will have the option to sleep in bedrooms with people, downstairs, or in their crate at night. For your convenience, pick-up and drop-off times are available between 7-9 am or 6-8 To be able to give each client the time and attention they deserve we have chosen to only take one client at a time. For holidays we do have a 4 day booking minimum. I wanted to share a little bit about the setup we have for your furry friends. We have a great fenced yard where they can take potty breaks comfortably. For exercise, we make sure to take them out for walks and have plenty of playtime. We’ve stocked up on loads of toys for playing fetch, and the dogs absolutely love to play with each other. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet, with sidewalks perfect for strolls and a lovely park nearby.

About: Some things that I've done with all my own dogs as well as when dog sitting/walking for family friends would be; Walking, food/water, playing, potty time, and lots of petting. My own dogs (2 past, 1 present): -My first dog was a beautiful golden retriever named Bo. I taught him some basic commands with sign language when I was little. He taught me a lot about how to act and move around dogs, as well as how sweet they can be. -My second dog was my giant baby, a half english mastiff, half short-haired saint bernard named Scar (aka bunny, aka goober). I held him when he was the size of a potato, and then continued to do so when he grew to 150 lbs. I taught him how to stop, cross the street with me, and slow, all with verbal commands. -My third dog is a half black lab, half golden retriever, full fluffy goofball named Buddy. He loves to join any conversations going on with his barks. His smarts aren't always there, but his heart absolutely is. I'm at home most of the time and with a pretty open schedule. I'll have tons of time to make sure pets are well cared for and happy. My own dog is on the older side, but has plenty of energy to spare and share with your four legged family. I have a decently sized fenced in backyard that's great for all sized dogs to get their energy out.

About: I have many years experience with small and large dogs. I had a poodle for 12 yrs and a Labrador for 15 yrs. I currently have a medium elderly 16 year old that still loves his walks! Special needs dogs are just fine. I am retired and home most of the day during the week. I go to the gym and yoga then at home. If I go out on Weekends I am home every evening. I have a fenced yard and a safe neighborhood. The area is dog friendly for walks. My house is safe for animals including quiet spaces to relax. I can travel locally for visits too. I am flexible and reliable. I worked in the healthcare industry and for the State of Washington. I also foster for the humane society.
