About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, and pet sitter for 25 years. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish, iguanas, hedgehogs, and hamsters. I’ve also been a volunteer with two different humane societies, most recently in Columbia County. I walked and bathed dogs there, cleaned cat cages, and fostered multiple liters of kittens, even bottle feeding when necessary. I am not working at this time, so your pet will be a priority. I have a daughter whom I take to school and pick up during the academic year. Otherwise, I am home. I have a pet friendly home and a daughter who will be glad to give your pet extra love. I do not have a fenced yard, but live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street that is lovely to take walks on. I have a bunny and a cat who are both used to having different animals over. Non smoking household.

About: I have had dogs since I was young. My family has always looked to me for nail trims and baths for our family pets. I am also going to school to be a Veterinary Technician. I am in school part time so I have plenty of days open to play with your pups. Monday mornings and afternoons, Wednesdays, and Fridays through Sundays. I am available to come to your house to feed and play with your pups. I can take them on walks or supervise their outside time in your yard.

About: I have been a veterinary technician/nurse for the past 13 years. My whole life is dedicated to animals and providing them compassionate care. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I also have a degree in agriculture and have cared for livestock. I truly love all animals and will always take care of each individual pet as if they were my own. I have a team of veterinary professionals that I can reach out to if there was every animal emergency or guidance needed. My goal is to make sure that while the pet parent is away, their loved ones are well cared for! Pet care is a daily staple for me: my job is very flexible and I am able to move my job around to tend to the needs of the pets I am caring for. Whether that’s me coming home on a regular basis or stopping by your home to a similar routine of your own. My goal is to achieve the same routine you would have while you’re home to give your loved ones the stable routine they’re used too! In home: I have property where I can take the dogs out on long walks and can play with them with a great deal of space. They will always have access to water and will feed them according to their set schedules. I have space for crates if your pets do better crated while inside and if I’m away. They will be smothered with cuddles and treats if I’m able to. Clients Home: I will make sure to adhere to the routine you have already established at home, whether that’s long walks or playing in the backyard. Stick to the feeding schedule and ensure they are stress free while you’re away.

About: I've been a pet owner are caregiver for over 30 years. I am often contracted by family and friends for pet care and am wishing to expand my clientele/ I am currently exploring several avenues of freelance work, but my availability is still open, especially with notice. Theere are 6-8 weekends I will not be available, the most notable being Memorial and Labor Days weekends. I will have ample availability during Thanksgiving , Christmas and typical summer vavcation times. I will be happy to care for your pets in your home to reduce stress on your furbabies. I will be happy to provide play, petting, walking and pet related cleanup. I am confident at giving oral medication and subcutaneous injections due to past pet medical care.

Leanne came twice, once to meet our dog and again to see our new house to acclimate to our dog's routine in his new home. She updated me on how our puppy was doing along with sending pictures. About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.
