“Bianca was amazing. She gave updates for poop and water breaks. She even listened to me vent for a little. My dog was very pleased to hang out with her dog. Her dog Kasha was so sweet. A little hyper but mellowed out while I was still there so just give her a little time if you see her being hyper. Going to use Bianca’s doggy daycare service again soon!”

About: I have parented dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for over 30 years. I love all animals and would care for almost any type. Same day availability. I’m retired and available any time. I work part time remotely as an accountant. I have a fenced yard, a garage, and an extra bedroom. I will spoil your fur babies as if they were my own. I speak all species of cat and dog, but I’m not fluent in bird. 🤭😉
“She took such good care of our baby. It was a last minute trip and she was willing to work with us on short notice. Our girl is exhausted and happy after her day with Alejandra. 5 Stars++++”
“Crystal was very sweet with Aiden and great with keeping us updated. Beautiful home with lots of room to run around! It was great knowing our pup was with someone we could trust as we spent the day on the river!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for 18+ years, with years of trusted experience from neighbors, friends, and family who rely on me for high-quality care. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and the level of care I provide. I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs—whether that’s maintaining structure, supporting anxious pets, or giving extra patience and attention. I’m calm, dependable, and highly attentive, ensuring your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect and professionalism. You can expect clear communication, regular updates, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in capable, trustworthy hands. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to take breaks with my 4-legged companions. I have 2 dogs (Riley and Bingo). They're friendly muts who love company. We have a one acre fenced-in backyard with lots of room to roam and explore. I always supervise the dogs to make sure they take breaks from playing to rest and drink water.
“Dana is a lovely human being who “gets” dogs and has made her home into a place of comfort and flexibility in response to a dog’s needs. We looked a long time for a caretaker and place that our little Velcro pandemic pup responded to positively and are so happy to have found Dana.”

About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and love them all from the big lap dogs and small hand babies and a few in between. I have had all different breeds of babies with all different sad stories who are now just trying to live their best lives. I have raised puppies and cared for babies until their end of life and all the stages in between. I have raised abused babies, starved babies, drop offs, puppy mill babies and now some spoiled rotten babies. I am able to accommodate many different needs since I am a stay at home mom and I would love to help you give your babies their best life. Please feel free reach out and ask any questions. I am a stay at home mom so pet care, kid care, husband care is my routine. Most of my dogs eat 2x per day but 1 is on a special diet and has to eat 3. All of my dogs have different diet demands so I feed them all individually so adding another pup to the routine will be very simple so I can meet whatever meal time needs you have. I have a doggy door and fenced yard for potty trained pups and I still take 1 of my babies out through out the day and can help your pup with potty training if needed. My schedule revolves around whatever needs to be done. Since I am a stay at home mom most requests can be accommodated by just asking. I want your baby to feel as loved as mine. I have a LARGE fenced in yard and kids and pups for plenty of entertainment and snuggles. My big dogs are crate trained and crated at night or they would stay up ALL night playing. My little dogs sleep with me. My dogs are family so movie night and activities include everyone. I also carry pet care insurance to cover you and me.
About: Pet Care Experience I have several years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. From playful puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and gentle attention, I provide reliable, safe, and loving care. I make sure each pet feels comfortable, happy, and well-cared for, just like they would at home. What Sets Me Apart I treat every pet as if they were my own, with compassion and consistency. I’m attentive to special needs—whether that’s administering medications, helping senior pets move comfortably, or giving puppies the training and structure they need. My focus is on building trust, creating a stress-free environment, and giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. I provide pet care on a part-time basis, mainly during weekends and weekday evenings. This schedule allows me to dedicate focused, quality time to each pet. Whether it’s evening walks, playtime, or weekend companionship, I make sure pets feel cared for, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet. In my home or yours, I ensure spaces are secure, comfortable, and pet-friendly. I supervise playtime, provide fresh water and proper nutrition, and follow any special instructions for each pet’s needs. My goal is to create a loving, stress-free environment where pets feel safe, happy, and cared for at all times.
About: I have been a veterinary technician/nurse for the past 13 years. My whole life is dedicated to animals and providing them compassionate care. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I also have a degree in agriculture and have cared for livestock. I truly love all animals and will always take care of each individual pet as if they were my own. I have a team of veterinary professionals that I can reach out to if there was every animal emergency or guidance needed. My goal is to make sure that while the pet parent is away, their loved ones are well cared for! Pet care is a daily staple for me: my job is very flexible and I am able to move my job around to tend to the needs of the pets I am caring for. Whether that’s me coming home on a regular basis or stopping by your home to a similar routine of your own. My goal is to achieve the same routine you would have while you’re home to give your loved ones the stable routine they’re used too! In home: I have property where I can take the dogs out on long walks and can play with them with a great deal of space. They will always have access to water and will feed them according to their set schedules. I have space for crates if your pets do better crated while inside and if I’m away. They will be smothered with cuddles and treats if I’m able to. Clients Home: I will make sure to adhere to the routine you have already established at home, whether that’s long walks or playing in the backyard. Stick to the feeding schedule and ensure they are stress free while you’re away.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
