When I’m taking care of pets in a client’s home, I stick to whatever routine the owner has for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I always make sure they’ve got fresh water, clean bowls, and a comfy space. I clean up any messes, take care of the home while I’m there, and make sure their pet feels safe and relaxed. I also send photo or text updates so the owner knows how things are going.

About: I have been employed at an animal hospitals for 25 years and have pet sat for cats, dogs, rabbits, horses and birds over the years. I am trustworthy and reliable I am currently working full-time at an animal hospital 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. I can come in the morning midday at lunchtime or after work if you’re in the area, I can also stay overnight at your home if you prefer. I do have a home with 6 acres however I do not have a fenced yard so I prefer to care for pets in your home. They are often less stress when they are at home in their own environment and seem much happier at their own home.

About: I have had about six to seven years of experience working with puppies to senior dogs. I’ve handled feedings, walks, medication if needed and lots of playtime. I’m currently employed but I able to work around my current job. I often close weekly 11:30-7 and weekends 10:30-6. Wednesday-Thursdays I typically have off so I’m Available anytime those days. I have tons of toys, treats, a crate and dog beds to keep your pup comfortable. I don’t have a fenced in yard however I do have a yard that I am able to walk your pup around in.

About: I have cared for a pet for virtually every year of my life that I can remember. From puppies and kittens to the most elder of the two, I cherish all stages of their development and love the joy that each unique individual personality of each pet brings to our world. I'm currently working part time, and on the days that I do work, I work remotely, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to the care of your pet. I have a beautiful large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac that is full of trees. We live in a very nice neighborhood that is perfect for walking dogs also. We have two indoor cats that get along beautifully and are adaptable to other animals. We have a very clean home and are non-smokers.

While I’m not a vet, I bring a deep sense of empathy and a lifelong passion for animals to every interaction. I work 6:30am - 3pm in Lake City, Monday-Friday. So I can do one Lake City trip and one trip in Jasper or Live Oak Monday - Friday. I am free more on the weekends so I can do at least two drop ins on the weekends if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home. But I am trustworthy and believe that an animal should be left in the environment that they are most familiar with. Removing them from their environment to a strangers will cause too much stress so I am not an advocate of bringing animals to my house. As far as my routine, once I get a new client, I will want to meet the new client and their fur child before they leave for their designated trip. It’s SO IMPORTANT they see me interact with their owner and know that I’m not a threat especially in their own environment. This creates trust and builds a bond between myself and the animal. (Cats can be territorial too! I’ve seen them attack intruders. Don’t underestimate them.) Keeping to routine and treats go a long way are my two general rule of thumb. Animals aren’t human and they don’t like a lot of change so continuing the same routine as their owner is important as fat meal times or cleaning out litter boxes. Not to mention giving them treats after every visit lets them be excited for you to come AND leave.

About: I have 6 kids- 3 of those are dogs. I am very familiar with walking, feeding and the loving needed to keep them happy and healthy. I am available evenings and weekends and with advanced notice can have addl availability. Last minute availability also possible.. Feel free to ask. Holiday availability possible too. I do not board dogs and will not bring other dogs to my home. But i am willing to sit at your home and ensure your pet is safe and happy.

About: I have owned animals of all sorts my entire life and am happiest when I am with them. I've owned dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, reptiles, etc and am comfortable caring for all of them. We live in high springs area but work in Gainesville so I am open to multiple locations if it works with my schedule. I currently have 3 dogs of my own..2 small ones and one large one, as well as a cat. I currently work from 8am-4:30 pm so I can be available anytime after work or on the weekends. I would love to meet your pets! Just contact me with any questions/requests! Thank you! I am open to evening visits during the week or anytime on the weekends as long as it works with my job schedule. Weekends I am pretty much always available. I do have kids so If I can bring them with me then I can be available even more as well but that can be discussed. I am not offering in home boarding at this time but all of our animals are well taken care of and I will respect your wishes if you want your dog kept on a leash or in the yard etc.
