Within an hour she’d sent us updates and we could already see Mylo felt right at home alongside her, her daughter, and her dog Kasha – who is also very gentle, loving, and got along well with our pup. Throughout the sit Bianca kept in touch with us regularly so we always felt at ease and could enjoy our trip, which meant a lot. We returned to find our little buddy being his typical jolly self and could tell he also got to enjoy a little adventure of his own! It was our first time using Rover or trusting someone new with our sweet boy but we’re so grateful we found Bianca! We’d definitely use her in the future and 100% recommend her to anyone in need of someone kind and attentive to look after their fur babies!”

About: Having a pet in our home for the last 20 years, I welcome yours to visit! We have a 14 year old son who loves to play with all dogs. I do work 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Weekends I am home most of the day. Our 4 legged family members are ready for playtime when I get home so thats what they get! We have a large privacy fenced back yard to keep your fur baby safe. I can kennel when I leave for work. We have a rose bushes in the yard but no other plants to worry about!

Some pets like the comfort of there own home in familiar surroundings to reduce the stress of boarding. However when that is not possible my home is open to domestic cat's and dogs. Limit two pets for boarding. I have two cats and two dogs in the home with a very large fenced yard. Space to kennel or separate from other animals if needed.

Folks should know that the boarding dogs are kept in a separate building from the main house but are accompanied all day and watched by camera at night. That worked fine for my dog who can be ambivalent about being near people at all times. We’re planning to board with Alexys again.”

About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.
