Pauline was available on short notice, and I'm so very grateful. All three dogs, Ezra, Scout, and Winslow, bonded with Pauline quickly. Pauline is kind, patient, and authentic. It was a relief to know I could go out of town for the day to handle medical matters and relax. Usually, I stress and feel guilty when the dogs have to stay behind. Not this time. Pauline is an animal natural, and I'm very grateful to have found her. Thank you, Pauline.

About: To me, animals are the most innocent companions we have. They deserve to feel safe, understood, and loved. While I’m not a vet, I bring a deep sense of empathy and a lifelong passion for animals to every interaction. Whether it’s giving meds to a senior dog, helping a disabled pet navigate their day, or handling exotic pets with confidence, I bring calm energy and a strong sense of responsibility to every pet I care for. I work 6:30am - 3pm in Lake City, Monday-Friday. So I can do one Lake City trip and one trip in Jasper or Live Oak Monday - Friday. I am free more on the weekends so I can do at least two drop ins on the weekends if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home. But I am trustworthy and believe that an animal should be left in the environment that they are most familiar with. Removing them from their environment to a strangers will cause too much stress so I am not an advocate of bringing animals to my house. As far as my routine, once I get a new client, I will want to meet the new client and their fur child before they leave for their designated trip. It’s SO IMPORTANT they see me interact with their owner and know that I’m not a threat especially in their own environment. This creates trust and builds a bond between myself and the animal. (Cats can be territorial too! I’ve seen them attack intruders. Don’t underestimate them.) Keeping to routine and treats go a long way are my two general rule of thumb. Animals aren’t human and they don’t like a lot of change so continuing the same routine as their owner is important as fat meal times or cleaning out litter boxes. Not to mention giving them treats after every visit lets them be excited for you to come AND leave.

Our day includes feeding the cows, hayrides, and plenty of outdoor adventures that keep every dog engaged, happy, and feeling like part of the family. It’s a balanced, enriching experience designed to give them a taste of true ranch life! We have a fenced play yard for new pups until they are ready to romp off leash and follow commands. We take walks to get out on adventures around the farm. We find many dogs love to dig so we provide opportunities for exploration while providing playtime enrichment activities and socialization. Dogs have the ability to go inside for rest when they are ready to curl up and relax. We have special theme retreat activities like splash n play in the pool and hayrides in the evening as we feed the cows in the winter. All activities are supervised while the dogs play.

About: Hi there! 🐾 My name is Brian, and animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up surrounded by family pets to helping neighbors with their furry friends, I’ve built years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even the occasional small critter. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I love. Experience & Skills Dogs of All Sizes & Personalities: I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies who are still learning leash manners to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care. Whether it’s high-energy walks, playtime fetch sessions, or slow, comforting strolls, I tailor each outing to the dog’s needs. Cats & Small Pets: I understand that cats and smaller animals need a calm and respectful approach. I’m comfortable providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes, giving affection, or simply being a quiet, trustworthy presence for those who are more independent. Medication & Special Needs: I have experience administering oral medications and following special feeding or activity routines. I know how important consistency is for pets with health needs, and I always take extra care to follow instructions closely. Safety First: I’m attentive on walks, always checking surroundings, watching for other animals, and making sure your pet is safe and comfortable. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority. What I Offer Dog Walking: From quick potty breaks to long, energy-burning walks, I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise and stimulation they need. Drop-in Visits: I can stop by for feeding, playtime, and check-ins to ensure your pets are happy, hydrated, and cared for while you’re away. House Sitting: For pets who prefer the comfort of their own space, I’m available to stay in your home, keeping your pet company and maintaining their normal routine. Why Choose Me? I treat every animal as if they were my own — with patience, kindness, and respect. I understand the trust it takes to let someone else care for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect regular updates, photos, and messages so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. At the end of the day, I want both you and your pet to feel at ease. My goal is to provide not just reliable pet care, but genuine companionship that makes tails wag and purrs rumble. One of the most important parts of pet care is consistency, and I structure my schedule to make sure your pets get the attention they need when they need it most. 🐾 Weekly Availability Weekdays (Mon–Fri): I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This means I can cover everything from quick morning potty breaks to afternoon walks or evening feedings. Weekends (Sat–Sun): I keep my weekends flexible for pet care, so whether you’re away for the day or traveling overnight, I can be there to keep your pets happy and safe. Flexibility I’m able to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. If your plans change suddenly, I’ll do my best to step in and help. I can adjust to your pet’s normal routine — whether they’re early risers, midday snackers, or nighttime cuddlers, I’ll keep their schedule consistent so they feel secure. Services by Time of Day Morning Walks / Check-Ins: Great for pups who need exercise before you head to work. Midday Visits: Perfect for a potty break, feeding, or playtime to break up the day. Evening Care: Walks, dinner feeding, litter care, or winding down with snuggles. Overnight Stays: For pets who need extra comfort, I offer overnight house sitting to keep their routine stable in their own home. Communication I’ll always confirm availability ahead of time, and I send updates during each visit so you know exactly when I was there and how your pet is doing. When it comes to caring for pets, I believe three things matter most: safety, trust, and environment. These are the values I bring to every walk, visit, or overnight stay. 🐾 Safety First Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. I stay alert on walks, keeping a close eye on traffic, other animals, and potential hazards. I never let pets off-leash unless in a fully secure, enclosed space, and I follow your instructions carefully when it comes to feeding, exercise, or medications. I’m also trained to notice subtle changes in behavior or health so small issues don’t go unnoticed. 🐾 Built on Trust I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care. That’s why I communicate openly, follow directions to the letter, and send regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind knowing your pets are cared for as if they were my own. 🐾 A Comfortable Environment I believe pets thrive best when their routines and spaces feel consistent. Whether I’m visiting your home or staying overnight, I make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. For cats, that may mean quiet patience and gentle interaction. For dogs, that could mean structured walks and plenty of play. Every animal has their own rhythm, and I take the time to adapt to it.
