I truly believe dogs are more perceptive than people, so I pay close attention to how Cheese reacts to others, and she immediately took to Chandrika. During the stay, Chandrika was amazing. She kept us updated with frequent messages and plenty of pictures. Cheese also has a special allergy diet with specific instructions, and Chandrika followed everything to a tee, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Even though Cheese can be shy and a bit fearful when she is away from us, which sometimes affects her willingness to walk, Chandrika still managed to take her out three times. On top of that, she went the extra mile and neatly bagged all of Cheese’s waste before finishing. All in all, it was an outstanding experience. I know it can feel nerve-wracking to choose a sitter when you love your dog so much, but with Chandrika, you can rest easy knowing your pet will receive exceptional care.”

About: It's a natural thing to have a dog in my family and I've had the honor to raise my own for quite some time. Through all the trials and triumphs, I've learned the skills so they live like family. The only question they may have is, what's a pet? I am a college student who has taken some time from work to settle in. My schedule on the weekly is consistent, so allow me to fit you in. I have two of my own and outside of my care there is always someone I can count on and that allows me the gift to give forward. I have a fenced in yard along with free range opportunity. Crates are available. Attention is given and dietary restrictions will be followed. Toys are allowed and will be returned. In my home we take long walks, we free feed, there are several sleeping arrangements, baths are given, toys are shared, we take car rides, my dogs enjoy hunting, and I enjoy painting their nails.

I have one goofball dog that likes everyone and one less than friendly to strangers dog than likes VERY FEW people. They both loved her! She then took absolutely fabulous care of both of them for the next two days for a very reasonable price. This sitter is the real deal of sitters. She sent me pictures while she was at the house and both dogs looked very happy, satisfied, relaxed and comfortable. She even cleaned up the mess where they had gotten into the trash. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to bearded dragons, sugar gliders, and parrots, and I’ve always had a huge soft spot for animals of all kinds. 🐾 I worked at Pet Supermarket from the time I was 16 until I was 22, and I also spent a year and a half in vet tech school. Caring for animals has always been something I truly love, and I’m happiest when I’m around them! I know how much our pets mean to us because they’re family, and I treat every pet I care for just like they’re my own. About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, and pet sitter for 25 years. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish, iguanas, hedgehogs, and hamsters. I’ve also been a volunteer with two different humane societies, most recently in Columbia County. I walked and bathed dogs there, cleaned cat cages, and fostered multiple liters of kittens, even bottle feeding when necessary. I am not working at this time, so your pet will be a priority. About: I have been a veterinary technician/nurse for the past 13 years. My whole life is dedicated to animals and providing them compassionate care. I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. I also have a degree in agriculture and have cared for livestock. I truly love all animals and will always take care of each individual pet as if they were my own. I have a team of veterinary professionals that I can reach out to if there was ever an animal emergency or guidance needed. My goal is to make sure that while the pet parent is away, their loved ones are well cared for! Pet care is a daily staple for me: my job is very flexible and I am able to move my job around to tend to the needs of the pets I am caring for. Whether that’s me coming home on a regular basis or stopping by your home to a similar routine of your own. My goal is to achieve the same routine you would have while you’re home to give your loved ones the stable routine they’re used too! In home: I have property where I can take the dogs out on long walks and can play with them with a great deal of space. They will always have access to water and will feed them according to their set schedules. I have space for crates if your pets do better crated while inside and if I’m away. They will be smothered with cuddles and treats if I’m able to. Clients Home: I will make sure to adhere to the routine you have already established at home, whether that’s long walks or playing in the backyard. Stick to the feeding schedule and ensure they are stress free while you’re away.
