She even set up a meet-and-greet to make sure it was a good fit. I truly believe dogs are more perceptive than people, so I pay close attention to how Cheese reacts to others, and she immediately took to Chandrika. During the stay, Chandrika was amazing. She kept us updated with frequent messages and plenty of pictures. Cheese also has a special allergy diet with specific instructions, and Chandrika followed everything to a tee, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Even though Cheese can be shy and a bit fearful when she is away from us, which sometimes affects her willingness to walk, Chandrika still managed to take her out three times. On top of that, she went the extra mile and neatly bagged all of Cheese’s waste before finishing. All in all, it was an outstanding experience. I know it can feel nerve-wracking to choose a sitter when you love your dog so much, but with Chandrika, you can rest easy knowing your pet will receive exceptional care.”

About: I’ve spent my life around animals and have cared for dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles both personally and professionally. I have 8 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary technician and am currently a 4th-year veterinary student, with just 10 months until graduation. My experience includes general practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, shelter medicine, rescue work, and some exotic animal care. Over the years, I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, including senior, anxious, reactive, special-needs, and medically complicated pets. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injections when needed, and have extensive experience recognizing changes in behavior or health that may indicate something is wrong. I also have a reactive bully breed of my own, so I understand firsthand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to work with each pet at their own pace. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, some extra playtime, medication, or simply some company while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m happy to provide dog walks, drop-in visits, and daytime pet sitting, including extended visits of an hour or two when your pet needs more attention. I’m also happy to make multiple visits throughout the day when needed. I do not currently offer overnight stays. As a 4th-year veterinary student, my schedule varies throughout the year, but I’m intentional about making time for pet care. I enjoy getting outside for dog walks and spending time with animals, so Rover is something I genuinely enjoy doing rather than simply fitting in when I have free time. I care for every pet according to their individual routine, personality, and needs. Before each booking, I like to learn about their normal feeding schedule, exercise routine, medications, favorite activities, and any behaviors or special considerations I should know about. During visits, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injections when needed, and my veterinary background allows me to be especially attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or overall health. I’m happy to provide dog walks, drop-in visits, and extended daytime pet sitting, and I’m comfortable making multiple visits throughout the day when a pet needs more frequent care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. About: Well-cared for pets can truly make for a person's best friend. As a former pet store manager, lifelong pet owner, and person who cares, I've had the opportunity to work with critters of all backgrounds and ages. Lots of experience with senior animals across a range of challenges. I work out of the house most days from 7am-5pm, but my wife is home most days during the week with the exception of Thursday and Friday. It's important for a pet owner to feel comfortable and confident in the person trusted with their pets safety and well being. As such, especially when in someone else's home, the best practice is to listen! Owners know their pet better than anyone, so it's important not to assume that we as caregivers always know what's best. Within our home, we have a large yard with diverse terrain and are off a series on low-traffic streets. Animals that get along will generally have run of the interior and when applicable to owner preferences, access to exterior. For those who have animals with a pre-disposition towards escape, we also offer a complimentary air tag tracker. This way you can rest assured your pet can be located in the case of an emergency.
